3 Winners & Losers From WWE RAW (10/2)

This week’s episode of RAW took place from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. Here are 3 winners and losers from this week’s episode:

Nia Jax (Loser)

Nia Jax went from looking like she was going to be the next RAW Women’s Champion, back to coming up short during her matches. Nia faced Mickie James on RAW tonight and lost via DQ. Jax was planted with a Tornado DDT off the turnbuckle and was about to be pinned by James. Alexa Bliss interfered and attacked Mickie causing Nia to be disqualified. It looks like Nia Jax is back to being Alexa’s bodyguard for now.

Mickie James (Winner)

Mickie James looked great in her match against Nia Jax. She should have won it but Alexa Bliss interfered. RAW GM Kurt Angle later announced that Mickie James will get a shot at the RAW Women’s Championship at WWE TLC on October 22nd. Mickie may not wind up winning the title, but she is certainly back to being relevant on RAW.

Seth Rollins (Loser)

Rollins quite simply got his ass kicked by Braun Strowman tonight to kick off WWE RAW. Strowman dominated the entire match and planted Rollins with the Running Powerslam for the victory. There was a positive development tonight for Rollins though. It is looking like The Shield may finally reunite next week.

Braun Strowman (Winner)

Braun Strowman dominated Dean Ambrose last week and did the same to Rollins this week. Even though Strowman lost in unimpressive fashion at No Mercy to Brock Lesnar, his future remains extremely bright. He may not be in the Universal Championship picture right now, but that title will definitely be on his shoulder in the future.

Enzo Amore (Loser)

For the second week in a row, Enzo Amore main-evented an episode of RAW. Also for the second week in a RAW, Enzo got his ass kicked. The entire roster of 205 Live surrounded Enzo in the ring at the end of tonight’s episode. Enzo informed them that he had another clause that stated they will be fired if they lay a hand on him. RAW GM Kurt Angle then interrupted and announced the newest member of the Cruiserweight division. Kalisto came down to the ring and planted Enzo with the Salida del Sol. Enzo may be the Cruiserweight Champion for now, but his days are numbered with that title.

Roman Reigns (Winner)

Roman Reigns faced The Miz tonight for the Intercontinental Championship. He attacked Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel before the match and beat them down with a steel chair. The Miz wound up getting disqualified as Sheamus and Cesaro attacked Reigns from behind. The Miz, Sheamus and Cesaro then mocked The Shield by fist-bumping in the ring.

Even though Reigns got his ass kicked tonight, he still won over the crowd. The Denver crowd was chanting “Roman” throughout the match. RAW went off the air with Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns getting together backstage. Sheamus and Cesaro will be guests on Miz TV next week on RAW. They might have some additional guests if The Shield decide to show up.
