Alex Shelly Reportedly Leaving TNA

Posted by Matt Boone May 22, 2012 5 Comments

According to various online reports, former TNA Tag Team Champion and X Division Champion Alex Shelley has finished his run with TNA. F4Wonline.com suggests that he made the decision to leave the company when his contract expires soon.

Shelley is a former TNA X-Division champion and held the TNA tag team championships with his Motor City Machine Guns partner Chris Sabin.

With the news that WWE has been reaching out to Cruiserweight talent for an all-cruiserweights show on the WWE Network this fall, the timing of Shelley asking for his release would make him eligible to participate in the project.

Good for him. I’m tired of seeing good wrestlers getting held back in that dump in favor of Garrett Bischoff, Hulk Hogan, etc.

Good news for Shelley’s career, bad news for TNA’s tag team division.

Crap crap crap. well I’d say good for Alex. Chris Sabin should leave with shelly as well. I really want to see them both be successful, there a great tag team. But when will TNA realize bischoff Hogan can’t draw money anymore.
