— While there have been rumors of Stone Cold Steve Austin competing at WrestleMania next year, it looks like the Texas Rattlesnake has a demand for WWE to meet before that could happen. — In what is likely an indication of future WWE storyline plans, Kane vs. John Cena are currently scheduled for numerous house show in January.

— John Morrison had apparently been planning for a while to take time off from the ring when his contract with WWE expired. Word among those close to Morrison is that he made the decision as far back as July that he would be leaving WWE.
