Backstage News on CM Punk’s Status, Problems with Creative and More

- Part of the reason why Brock Lesnar has returned and The Undertaker is working next week is because CM Punk won’t be returning anytime soon and WWE needs star power on TV.

Before this past Monday, the plan was for CM Punk to come out on RAW and whine about losing at WrestleMania 29, then walk out of the company in the storylines. This was held off from the post-WrestleMania RAW because officials felt that Punk would get a big reaction from the post-WrestleMania RAW crowd. Another reason it was held off is because Punk wasn’t happy with the verbiage they wanted him to use and didn’t want to come off as a whiner.

A few weeks back, Punk had a big blow up with WWE creative and wanted to give his notice to quit the company. He went and worked it out with top WWE officials. At that time, it was decided that Punk wouldn’t be working live events anymore, just TV and WrestleMania 29.

Between the backstage problems and severely tearing knee ligaments at WrestleMania, Punk was written off TV this past Monday at RAW. Punk will be fine once he rests up and lets his knees heal. Right now there is no set plan for Punk to return but word is that he won’t be back until SummerSlam time.

Punk sounds like a real prima donna. Big whiny backstage bitch.

He’s not a prima donna…he just feels a certain way towards the backstage politics…I hope he doesn’t but if he needs to he should quit…then they can realize how much of a star player him and a lot of the guys that cum to work everyday are…

I can understand him not wanting his character to be whiny, but wasn’t that pretty much what he was doing backstage?

CM Punk is the epitome-along with Bryan,Ziggler,Jericho,Rhodes,Shandow and a few others-of technical wrestling.I am with him on this one.Either give those guys what they truly deserve, which is a main event status,or they should just walk out of the company.WWE is too much about entertainment than it is about actual wrestling-there is no place for real talents, just take a look at Cena being the champ AGAIN and HHH and Dwayne main eventing YET AGAIN.I hope Punk-and the rest I mentioned for that matter-open their eyes and do what is best for their carrers, which, why not, might be working for independent wrestling companies-Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore seems nice, for instance.I have absolutely no desire to watch Cena vs Rybotch or-the classy diva-Dwayne Johnson or the boss’ son in law.Enough with the backstage politics.
    Just my 2 cents spent.
    Feel free to downrate.Cheers.

No downvote here. I completely agree with you.

He whines anyway, and besides, I am glad he lost that match against undertaker. I swear his character is so damn annoying.

    • Ho Kogan

He’s a heel, he’s supposed to aggravate people.

      • Beer Money Jobber

Punk is the epitome of a heel. I said it before & I’ll say it some more, Punk is the best heel since Piper in his heyday.

    • morrisonfanone

We all knew he was going to lose. The Streak isn’t ending anytime soon. I used to like the character, but then he started whining about EVERYTHING. Heyman doesn’t help things either.

If they lose Punk that would be a Big Low Blow to the Roster but if RVD or Batista take his spot that would be considering lol

People should remember what Punk has done.Yeah,he is a top heel and does what he must do.You think he is a whiner and offensive brat? But what would you do when Creative team screws you over constantly? He spoke his mind cause he knows what must be done with his character. He wants to perform freely so don’t call him egomaniac. He performs for fans and gets fans to react. But the real problem isn’t in Punk,it’s Creative team who must take the blame. The Rock,Punk,Orton and many many other wreslers have been arguing with them. You want to blame wrestlers?Go ahead!I just feel sorry for those who can’t see that it’s Creative teams fault why wrestlers get screwed and why they act like they do.For far too long time Creative team has been burying talents, tanking PPV’s and destroying the potential of WWE.

If Punk walks out on WWE he will be replaced but i hope he won’t do that.Anyways, there is a real mess backstage and if he goes away it will get bigger and bigger.I won’t be surprised if many other guys will follow Punk and Im talking top guys, not just midcarders.
