Battle Royal Set for Tuesday’s SmackDown, Batista Set for Tarantino Movie, More

- Batista announced this week that he will be in the new Kung Fu movie “The Man with the Iron Fists.” The movie, produced by Quentin Tarantino, was written by Eli Roth and rapper Rza, who also directs. Actor Russell Crowe, MMA star Cung Lee, Lucy Liu and others also appear. Here is the trailer:

- WrestleMania 28 and WWE.com’s coverage has been nominated for the “Best Special Entertainment Social TV Award” in the 2012 Social TV Awards. WWE’s EVP of Digital Jason Hoch has been nominated for the “Social TV Marketer of the Year Award.” Winners will be announced at the Bel-Air Country Club on July 17th.

- WWE has announced that Tuesday’s live SmackDown will feature a “Great American Bash” battle royal with WWE Champion CM Punk, World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus, John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Big Show and Alberto Del Rio.
