WWE Superstar The Big Show officially returned to in-ring action for the first time since suffering the injury that has kept him on the shelf for the past several months. Show was cleared to return to wrestle last Monday, but was not featured on RAW that night due to the fact that the show was already written prior to his availability.

Following extensive rehabiliation at the new WWE Performance Center, Big Show had his first match at the WWE live event on Sunday night in Oakland, California. Show was part of a Battle Royal match that opened the event, where the winner would get a shot at Alberto Del Rio in the main event of the show. Big Show won the Battle Royal and earned a shot at Del Rio’s World Heavyweight Championship, however, did not leave Oakland as the new title-holder.
