Update On Big Show’s Firing & Potential Over The Limit Spoiler

As seen on Monday’s RAW, Big Show has been ‘fired’ by John Laurinaitis for making fun of his voice last week. During commercial break that aired right after Big Show was fired, he stopped on the ramp on his way backstage, bowed to the fans and waved goodbye.

John Laurinaitis tweeted the following after RAW:

“Tonight, @WWETheBigShow forced me to make an example out of him. Let that be a lesson to the entire locker room. #Raw”

To sell the storyline, Big Show’s profile to their Alumni roster and the WWE website has posted an article speculating who else might get fired for disobeying the General Manager of RAW and SmackDown:

“Under Laurinaitis’ tumultuous reign, Big Show and The Bella Twins have both been handed their walking papers. If Laurinaitis defeats John Cena at WWE Over the Limit and continues to serve as the GM of Raw and SmackDown, one can only wonder who might be next to face his wrath.”

We can confirm that one scenario that’s been discussed for Sunday’s Over The Limit pay-per-view is for Big Show to interfere in John Laurinaitis’ match with John Cena – and cost Cena the match. A stipulation was set on RAW that John Laurinaitis will lose his job if he loses to John Cena – and any WWE superstars who interfere will be fired. Since Big Show is already ‘fired’ – he can interfere, help John Laurinaitis win & keep his job – and then Laurinaitis would re-hire Big Show.

anyone who has a brain figured the storyline of the john cena vs johnny fight out last night with the stipulations that the “board of directors” set it says any “wwe superstar” that interferes in the match is automatically terminated unfortunately for big show he is no longer a wwe superstar meaning that he will interfere in the match in order to get his job back and help johnny win

love how 24wrestling stole your comment and tried to make it their own maybe they should hire you to write this stuff

I hated seeing Big Show do the begging thing, he should have just choke slammed him and took his firing. WWE has basically made his character look like a big baby over the years. What happened to the guy that tore through the bottom of the ring to attack Steve Austin? Thanks for ruining another wrestler WWE. Steve Austin, The Rock, Sid Vicious, The Undertaker, etc. would have never let WWE do that to their character.

I agree. Another WWE character ruined. Btw, May 20th is the one year anniversary of Randy Savage’s passing. Please spare a minute and send his brother Lanny Poffo some condolences at http://geniuslannypoffo.com/lanny/ -> Contact. He’ll appreciate it.

@ the truth. I definitely agree with you. Big show has the fans in the palm of his hands. Best time to do something desperate which makes him heel. Or I was thinking since Brock “quit” he comes in and finishes Cena off which leaves Cena “injured” so he takes a vacation for a little while (hes do for some time off)

yeah but then there is another thing that could happen with the lesnar big show thing too: brock could come in try to beat cena up but then big show comes out and tries to save cena and then brock and big show go at it as a warm up for lesnar vs triple h and then the end result for the cena vs laurinitis match could be laurinitis wins and cena gets fired storyline wise which would be bad for wwe business or we could see cena win vs laurinitis and have a storyline of big show vs laurinitis with a match and if big show wins he gets rehired and laurinitis takes teddy long’s current job as gofer on smackdown and edge comes back as raw gm.

They could play it out to where teddy gets big show to interfere to get laurinitis fired so he could get his job as gm back and rehire show.

is there any way to watch the ppv free???

    • well time beg time

it was all part of a storyline, if you bought it, then its effective.

i’m quite excited that Cena will beat Laurinaitis but with Big Show helping Laurinaitis, well it will suck.

    • JB

i cena loses to john laryngitis I WILL NOT WATCH WWE AGAIN

    • GoodThings2Life

Although Big Show helping Johnny is one potential angle, keep in mind that WWE is trying to keep Cena happy right now in light of the divorce news. Him “losing” isn’t a good way to keep him “happy”. I think as a result, they’re more likely to have show help Cena win and play a Teddy Long promotion/rehire plan. I think that’s more likely especially given the decreasing rating numbers since Johnny took over.

    • Gavin

Or they could just have Brock Lesnar come down and screw over Cena?
