Bourne Out for Another Month, Meng Coming Out of Retirement, Eve Seminar

- WWE Diva Eve Torres will be hosting a free self-defense seminar for women with the Gracie Academy this Saturday in Torrance, California at 3515 Artesia Blvd. The seminar is from 4:30pm until 6:30pm. For more information, call 310-353-4100.

- Former WCW and WWE star Meng (Haku) will be coming out of retirement for CHIKARA’s King of Trios tournament in mid-September. He will be teaming with former WWE stars The Barbarian and The Warlord.

- Evan Bourne says he is still at least a month away from returning to the ring. He tweeted on Tuesday:

“Another follow up appt with my surgeon today. The foot is healing properly and I’m scheduled for another month of PT at 3 sessions a week. With that good news in mind, I’m still very disappointed I can’t be in St. Louis for #raw1000 But I’ll keep working until I’m back on RAW!”

    Bourne spends more time on the disabled list then actually wrestling. The only reason he still has a job is cuz of his finishing move, that he ripped off from billy kidman. If it wasn’t for that one move he’d be fired.

        You missed my point. Yeah wrestlers rip off other wrestlers moves all the time. The point was that he’s still employed because he uses that one move. If his finisher was a sleeper hold or something else he would have been fired a long time ago based oln the fact he can’t stay healthy.

          By your logic, Randy Otron is still employed because he uses DDP’s diamond cutter. Jack Swagger still has a job because he uses Ken Shamrock/Kurt Angle’s ankle lock. Primo uses Carlito’s back staber. God only knows how many wrestlers used a bicycle kick before Sheamus. CM Punk’s GTS was popularized in Japan. Daniel Bryan uses Gene Lebelle’s lebelle lock. I can go on and on but my point is that you, sir, are incorrect

            All the people you named had more moves than just their finisher. That’s what I meant by bourne not being fired cuz of his 1 move. Other then that what does bourne do/got? He is not a well rounded wrestler and depends/uses that 1 move. And since it’s such a rare and awesome move that’s why wwe keeps him around. The rip off thing was just a jab at bourn/ didn’t really have anything to do with what I was trying to point out.

    Bourne’s finisher has been the only thing praised about him. If it weren’t for that he’d be on the Paul London band wagon.
