After many delayed court dates, Jeff Hardy faced the music today and pled guilty in a Moore Country, NC court room to three felony drug charges, including:
- Two counts of intent to distribute a controlled substance
- One count of conspiracy to traffic in a compound containing opium
Hardy was given a $100,000 fine, a 10-day jail sentence and 30 months probation as part of his plea deal. All other counts against Hardy were dropped as part of the deal.
A request from Hardy’s lawyer that Jeff be allowed to travel to work for TNA was granted. No word on when his jail sentence begins.
Hardy returns to TNA TV on tonight’s episode of Impact Wrestling.
