Big Update On Brock Lesnar’s WWE Future & Feud With Triple H

We noted earlier this week that WWE officials were “in a panic” over the Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H storyline and were considering having the match take place at June’s No Way Out pay-per-view. In an update, they are considering it for No Way Out or July’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view. The match was originally planned for SummerSlam in August.

Moving the match up would extend the time between Lesnar appearances on WWE TV this year since it’s believed they only have him for around 24 dates this year with the rest of the dates being used next year for WrestleMania season. The main reason for keeping Lesnar out until the SummerSlam match was because they had already burned through 5 dates between WrestleMania and Extreme Rules.

This will be a bad move on WWE’s part if they don’t build up matches to the biggest PPV of the Summer. Just look at Over The Limit. There are maybe 5 matches on the card, expect alot of filler heading into the PPV. And WWE if you are going to put filler in the PPV, make sure you fill it up with matches like WCW did, instead of 50 mamas dancing on stage or other meaningless segments. PLLLEEEAAASSSEEE!?

I know what your saying …..but…without all that crap it wouldn’t be the WWF/E…

I’m gong to summerslam and I demand hhh vs lesnar!!!

brock is a BULLY which the WWE is supposed to be opposed to, yet with this guy, it’s ok. the only match this BULLY should get should be between him and HHH. BROCK needs to PAY for what he has done since he came back…..

If the only reason for having this match take place at No Way Out as opposed to Summerslam is because they’ve burned through 5 of his appearances already, well IMO that’s a pretty dumb reason. Why not sign him to more dates if they truly care about this storyline, since having this build all the way to Summerslam would IMO be much more successful.

I think it’s because this was the number of appearances that Brock was willing to do. With some people, it’s not as easy to just “sign them to more dates.” Sure, to reasonable people it would be a good idea. But not everyone is reasonable with their time and $$.

Very true about it not being reasonable what they’re doing. It just seems to go against common sense that they would fathom the idea of starting a long-term storyline with someone whose appearances are limited.

They will just continue to go through the story line with Paul Heyman acting as a proxy, as they have been doing.
