Colt Cabana Receives Another WWE Tryout, Update On New Japan Star To WWE

- Independent pro wrestling star Colt Cabana was at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida again this week for another tryout with WWE.

– Talks between New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) star Prince Devitt and WWE at this point are said to be informal. As of right now, Devitt has yet to receive a legitimate financial offer from the company and has apparently been telling people that he’s expecting to continue working in Japan in 2014. While Devitt’s official NJPW contract expires on January 31st, most expect him to stay with the promotion.

At least he won’t be wrestling. The WWE already has enough comedy characters. Still, I’m not sure how well he’d work out. I mean, what kind of references would he really have to draw from that the casual WWE audience would remotely pick up on?

Fergal Devitt would be an awesome signing.

Though I worry the WWE roster is getting too-bloated.
