Following a lot of speculation that increased as tonight’s WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view drew closer, a decision has reportedly been finalized regarding who will close the show as the last match of the show.
According to PWInsider.com, the verdict fell in favor of Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte in the first-ever Women’s Hell In A Cell match being the final match inside the TD Garden in Boston, Mass. tonight.
The decision could still change, as Mike Johnson noted in the aforementioned PWInsider article, but the last word was that the history-making RAW Women’s Championship match will be making history for two reasons, as they currently stand to become the first-ever Women’s match to headline a WWE pay-per-view event.
It’s worth noting that the decision was reached in spite of Vince McMahon personally voting in its’ favor, according to rumors making the rounds as tonight’s pay-per-view approaches.
