— To follow up on an earlier report stating that Mick Foley’s current deal with TNA expires in September, Foley actually requested to be released early from his deal and TNA has verbally agreed to do so, but nothing had been finalized as of last week. There have also been no talks between Foley and WWE as of this writing. That’s not to say he won’t wind up back in WWE at some point but it won’t be happening anytime soon.

— According to TNA’s website, at AAA’s TripleMania show, Jeff Jarrett, along with wife Karen in his corner, beat El Zorro last night to become the Heavyweight Champion of Mexico. TNA will likely be promoting this on TV in the coming weeks.

— Matt Hardy posted the following on his Twitter…“Between dates, injuries, & outside issues, I’m gonna have a few week off & I’m ecstatic! The Matt Hardy Movement is going into full effect!”
