– Triple H announced on RAW that for the foreseeable future, the stars of SmackDown will be appearing on RAW every week. This appears to indicate that the RAW/SmackDown brand split has ended.

RAW stars are scheduled to appear on SmackDown this week as well.

– On Monday’s RAW, Kevin Nash vs. CM Punk was announced for Night Of Champions. However, later in the show, things changed and HHH announced that he would be taking Nash’s spot at the PPV, making CM Punk vs. HHH official for the event.

– The August 26 episode of WWE SmackDown on Syfy scored a 1.78 (1.8) cable rating, down from 1.83 the week before. The program averaged 2,673,000 viewers over the course of two hours, down from 2,920,000 million on August 19. SmackDown ranked No. 1 among males 18-34 for the night. It was No. 2 and 3 among younger male viewers.
