- As seen on Impact Wrestling, TNA has been airing videos for 1-3-13. This isn’t confirmed yet but the videos are likely for the return of Sting.

– Internally, TNA officials are very excited about the first part of 2013 with the tour of the UK and taping episodes of Impact Wrestling there.

– TNA officials have most of January’s TV tapings already drafted out. They feel that planning a month in advance is helping their product. They are trying to draft the shows out a month ahead of time and tweak the scripts as they get closer to taping.

Are you shitting me? I’d want 3 – 5 year strategies in place for story lines, and 3 – 6 month rollin tactical story lines with various ‘outs’.
      1 month in advance? Lol…

Yeah, we’ll book 3-5 years in advance regardless of possible contract disputes and various opportunities for injury. Mapping out a general course for years ahead is what hurt WWE’s product in putting Cena ahead of everything else in the product.

The product has to be finite enough that changes can be made of necessary to account for differences in fan reaction and to limit predictability.

I didn’t say book, I didn’t say have the card already figured out, just a strategy…
Coupled with 3 – 6 month tactics with some flexibility and ‘outs’ is what anyone sensible would be planning.
Flying by the seat of your pants from one month to the next is not managing anything, that’s closing your eyes and hoping for the best.

That’s exactly what WWE has done and it has made them nothing but predictable and unable to turn the product around because it’s not working.

TNA has a general guideline for where the angles go, it’s the in between that is month to month.

I think we’ll have to agree to disagree.
