Hulk Hogan Staying With TNA After WWE Makes Lowball Offer

Posted by Brad Davis October 14, 2013 20 Comments

It appears that Hulk Hogan will be returning to TNA.

After becoming a free agent and negotiating with both TNA and WWE, reports that TNA offered Hogan substantially more money than WWE did.

WWE’s offer was said to be a “lowball” offer – and nowhere near what they’ve offered other big stars in recent years, like The Rock and Brock Lesnar.

TNA’s offer to Hogan is believed to be a 1-year deal that will pay him approximately as much as The Rock and Brock Lesnar make for a single match in WWE.

And this is why TNA will continue to drop their original wrestlers and eventually go out of business. Nobody cares about Hogan anymore. In WWE or TNA. Washed up hasbeen.

all he is worried about is putting money back in his pocket and not worried about TNA all he is doing is killing them and that is why they will not make. paying old farts that are past there prime and cant do it any more now i see why wcw died ass whips like him that dont care

of course wwe offered him less than a worker bc hogan can barely walk much less do a 20 min match. so its common sense that wwe wouldnt pay him 40 million a year hed be lucky to get $400,000 a year bc he wont be a worker he will be a in ring talker but he wont actually do anything. now dixie will be like yeah i know u couldnt stay away from me or my offer

Um… Hogan didn’t offer HIMSELF the contract. So how is it Hogan’s fault? Plus how can TNA “loose their company”? TNA – IS – the company and it’s owned by multi billionaires.

        • erfdsa

hahahahah its not owned by multi billionaires hahaha its owned by multi millionaires who are gonna sell it soon because they no there losing money you idiot

That is the stupidest move they could possibly do

    • Dammit

What else can Hogan do in TNA?! Another run as Hollywood?! Dammit Miz!!

    • Ecco

TNA releases 20+ talent over budget costs… but we’ll keep Hogan!?!?

    • JYD4EVER

Hogan thinks he is in the same category as Lesnar and Rock? I know they are getting up there, but c’mon man!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All he cares about is the money and fame, he doesn’t care who he runs over while getting it.

I love how people claim that nobody cares about Hogan – yet, his stories continuously receive the most comments.

Hulkamania is still runnin’ the IWC wild, brother.

    • Plissken

This means that he has reached a deal with WWE. That’s just a way to keep it secret and even TNA must believe it.
Alberto Del Rio will be surprised when Vickie will say that he will defend against Hulk Hogan at Survivor Series.

        In a wheel chair match!

Its simple. Hulk isnt worth anything anymore.. WWE would pay you high dollar if you stay out of trouble or akward situations.. Hulk has had so many issues, his wife going out saying he is gay, he does commercials in thongs, his son basically killed his friend racing, and lets not forget the infamous sex tape. TNA can afford to look past that because Hulk is a big name, but in WWE they know that people care more about Daniel and Punk and Ziggler than they do about old wrestlers. HBK, one of my favorites of all time left when he knew his time was up. The rock maybe getting old but he is the face of the movie industry and can draw many people into whatever he does, and brock lesnar is a former world champion in MMA… Big difference between them.. and the Hulkster..

actually might wanna check sources on this story because I have read a couple of articles stating Hogan is still a free agent.

TNA should have taken note with WWE’s lack of interest in HH. Vince doesn’t want him (HH can’t even wrestle anymore – it’s like an NFL team having a player that can’t play anymore, why? he’s just taking up a spot as well as $$) and actually knows that by giving HH a low ball offer keeps him at TNA which will kill the company/ competition and create another WCW/ WWE scenario. Then after TNA is long gone WWE can bring him in for chump change and gag material.” Brother’.

TNA is so stupid to resign Hogan. The guy is a waste of money and TNA should be investing in future talent instead of a washed up geriatric like Hogan. WWE management must be laughing their asses off.
