J.R. On Oklahoma Wrestling Ban, Rappers At WM 28

– Jim Ross said on Monday that the parts of the ban on combat sports in Oklahoma hitting WWE could be done away with. Ross tweeted the following about the ban, which takes effect March 31st and currently applies to pro wrestling, MMA and boxing due to budgetary issues: Okla Athletic Comm rescinding issues affecting WWE in Oklahoma. More to come. As previously reported, WWE has scheduled TV tapings in the state in October.

– Rappers Machine Gun Kelly and Flo Rida will both perform live at WrestleMania 28. Flo Rida will perform The Rock’s entrance theme live while Machine Gun Kelly is expected to do something for John Cena as well.

– WWE SummerSlam tickets will go on sale to the general public this Saturday. The event takes place from the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, CA.
