Lesnar’s WWE Deal, Heyman-HOF Rumors, Ambrose’s Debut

Posted by Brad Davis April 19, 2012 15 Comments

– As we reported earlier this week, Brock Lesnar’s management team negotiated a unique contract wit WWE that allows him to wear sponsors on his ring gear and clothing. A source reports that Lesnar insisted this be part of the deal. He is the first performer Vince McMahon has ever allowed to promote independent sponsors.

– Joey Styles wrote on Twitter that he’s still hoping to induct Paul Heyman into the WWE Hall of Fame next year from the New York/New Jersey area.

– Dean Ambrose will indeed be debuting on WWE’s main roster soon and the current storyline with Mick Foley is designed to make him a top name right off the bat. Ambrose was asked on Twitter what he thought about Foley’s recent blog on their encounters. Ambrose replied:

“To be honest, I expected a little more fight out of @realmickfoley. I mourn the loss of his “testicular fortitude””

You’re dating yourself!Did you grow up in the Bay Area watching Walt Harris call his matches back on KTVU in Oakland?I was hoping someone would grab Walt’s wig off his head!

        • JJ MILLIS

Oh I loved Walt. When I was a kid in Mass., we got the San Francisco Bay Area Bombers roller derby games and Walt did the calls. He was good and would have been a very good voice for “legitimate sports”, if there is such a thing. I used to love watching Charlie O’Connell and Joanie Weston.

Did you get to see the NWA/AWA Wrestling that Walt also did the voice for?His interviews, with heels, were worth their weight in gold!

Sometimes it happens to me. Sometimes I have to make sure all of the, text area, email, name and other blanks are filled out OK before it gets posted. This happened to me on other blogs like this as well. These blog sites hopefully learn that blog simplicity is key to blogging.

In my opinion, they ruined wrestling long ago, now the WYATT FAMILY, oh brother. They look like retards with no class fighting for food.
