Manik Reveals His TNA Salary, TNA Taping Impact Wrestling In Pennsylvania

- TNA wrestler Manik recently revealed via his ask.fm account what his current salary is working for TNA. Manik stated the following:

“My contract was started midway thru the year last year but altogether with salary+appearances I was on pace for roughly $75,000-$84,000 for a year period. That’s if my schedule is as busy as it was last summer/fall. Also that’s only counting TNA. I’d make a lot more if I kept up with other bookings outside but I just don’t. I’m also guaranteed a huge chunk of that regardless of if I wrestle or not. So it’s pretty ok considering I do what I love.I’m on the low end on the roster too. Most guys do way better than me.”

– TNA president Dixie Carter noted via her official Twitter account that the company is heading to the Sands Casino and Resort in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on June 19th and 20th for live Impact Wrestling television tapings. Carter stated the following:

Nice change from all the ‘foodstamp’ jokes about TNA wages.

Like Manik said, that’s a pretty nice salary considering he’s doing what he loves, is basically a jobber, and doesn’t take indy bookings.

I remember seeing some wages made by the lower-end WWE superstars and NXT guys – and it really wasn’t all that much. It’s probably different now, but the report said that Kofi Kingston only made $200,000 – yet a newer guy like Sheamus made a cool $1 million.

I guess the only way to make truly great money is to become a main eventer. Even in TNA, Bobby Roode’s new contract was described as “lucrative”, and veterans such as Storm, Styles, Daniels and Kaz all had annual salaries around the area of $300,000.

If you can’t survive off 80k a year as a single competitor/person. Then you are truly an idiot. If you can’t survive off 200k a year as a mediocre couple in TNA working 4 or 5 times a month, than you are a pathetic waste of space trying to live above his means. Also, fuck you if you can’t manage money, it’s not my fault you don’t know how to live within your means.

TNA stars are NOT grammy/oscar/global awards winners. They are second rate wrestlers on a jobber level.
