Michael Bay Says The Rock Needs to Grow Up and Stop Wrestling

Posted by Matt Boone April 24, 2013 25 Comments

- As noted earlier, The Rock underwent abdominal surgery on Monday after sustaining injuries from his match with John Cena at WrestleMania 29. Johnson’s rep confirmed that because of the surgery, Rock was forced to miss the Los Angeles premiere of his new film, Pain and Gain.

Director Michael Bay also commented on the surgery and offered the Rock some advice from the red carpet:

“Dwayne’s hurt tonight. He was pushing it too hard. [He] needs to grow up and stop wrestling 300-pound men.”

Who in the blue hell he think he is(Bay)?…….He needs to worry about making a good damn movie. Who knows what he gonna do to TF4 or TMNT or TMNA as I should say…….ALIENS seriously???? Bay has no room to talk sh*t.

I couldn’t agree more. The Rock enjoys the WWE, even though he isn’t there as much, but he is a busy guy and I like to know how growing up plays a role in, “stop wrestling”

john cena is neither 300 or a man

    • lelcake

And Michael Bay needs to stop making shitty movies.

    • morrisonfanone

Um. Doesn’t Bay know Rock was wrestling before he was making crappy movies? And even if he is hurt, it’s not like Rock did it to spite him. Maybe Bay needs to grow up and understand that crap happens. And this is coming from a non-Rock fan.

While it’s easy to jump on the Anti-“Bay” Movie Bandwagon, let us all remember, we are fans of pro-wreslting. In terms of quality, they’re not that different.

      • morrisonfanone

Very true. At least Bay tries to put good movies together. I think Vince stopped caring when the shows got bad.

maybe rock needs to stop being a part time wrester and just make crappy movies

      • morrisonfanone

Kind of agree with you there. He really needs to chose one or the other. Be a wrestler or be a move star, but don’t be both. That kind of goes for Cena as well.

        • Save_Us.Y2K

Whens the last time Cena made a movie?

          • morrisonfanone

            Legendary. I think.

    • GoodThings2Life

Michael Bay is a mental moron that can’t make good movies and compensates by using big booms. Perhaps he should take his own advice before dishing it out to others.

    • Bluebook

Michael Bay needs to grow up and stop making horrible movies about children’s toys.

    • DMD

WWE is built on style over substance (like Bay’s movies), Bad acting (like Bay’s movies), and over-the-top pyrotechnics (like Bay’s movies). It’s not a case of being Anti-Bay, its a case of being Anti-Hipocracy.

micahel bay cant make anything good so wtf is he talking shit for? all his movies sucked and yes even transformers so he can sit his ass down

    • The A-Team

LOL. Bay’s Movies were awesome, obviously u ppl don’t know about his movies. The best movie i’ve seen that he’s directed is “The Rock” and “Transformers”, “Bad Boys” was ok…could of been better, but its more of action comedy.

      • Derp

Obviously you don’t have a good taste in movies. Shut up, adults are talking.

        • The A-Team

Yeah right like you haven’t’ seen the movie “The Rock”

          • Save_Us.Y2K

Yes….Nick Cage defusing uber rockets with his confused looking face while 90 year old Sean Conary kills badass mercs in their prime. Nothing wrong with that movie.

Let Bay tell Vince Mcmahon that shit

    • Save_Us.Y2K

I think the Rock needs to stop making horrible movies and go back to wrestling full time.

As opposed to creating movies based on toy robots…
