SPOILER: Backlash World Title Match Winner Revealed

 As of right now, John Cena will be dropping the World Heavyweight Championship to Edge this coming Sunday at Backlash. While it's been expected since last week's draft due to there being no champion on SmackDown and Edge being a member of the blue brand, there is another reason why Cena will be dropping the title this Sunday to confirm that there won't be any wacky swerve on the part of WWE to throw fans off.
Cena is expected to take some time off from the road in May to begin work on his next film. As a result, he will be unable to work house shows, and as a cardinal rule, WWE Champions must always appear at house shows.
While he'll likely be taking some time off from house shows for a while, as in the past, he is expected to work around his filming schedule and work television tapings and pay-per-views events in the meantime.
