SPOILERS: WWE's Creative Plans For Melina

Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter
**MAJOR SPOILER ALERT BELOW - YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!**
Melina made her return to WWE programming during Monday's television taping in San Antonio, Texas. She performed a run-in following a Six-Diva Tag Match pitting Alicia Fox, Jillian and Tamina against Eve, Gail Kim and Natalya, attacking the Divas Champion. Her return will be televised during next Monday's episode of RAW.
It was her first appearance inside a WWE ring since she underwent surgery for a torn ACL suffered last December. She spent the past few weeks at the company's developmental facility in Tampa, Florida training for her return.
WWE creative brass initially planned on inserting Melina into the ongoing John Morrison vs. Ted DiBiase program as means to feature mixed tag matches, but said plans were nixed last week. Instead, she will going after Fox's Divas Championship. A three-way feud between Melina, Fox and Eve is tentatively planned, though Maryse may be put in the mix.
Meanwhile, Maryse and DiBiase's "power couple" placement is an offshoot of plans initially tapped for the French beauty and The Miz last year. Plans were changed when Maryse took a hiatus to recover from knee surgery and Miz got over well enough with the audience that she was no longer needed by his side. Maryse was ultimately placed with DiBiase in an effort to get him over. ?

Strange Hulk Hogan Rumor Killer, Lawsuit, iMPACT Preview
Posted on 07.29.10 by Jason Stone | TNA News |
-- Apparently there were several fake rumors out there that Hulk Hogan died today. These are not true, and Dixie Carter just posted the following on her Twitter: "HULK HOGAN IS ALIVE AND WELL. He did not drown. Not sure how these rumors get started. Awful." Unfortunately some other wrestling news websites actually posted these false rumors as news.
-- The fallout from the highly publicized Nick Hogan-John Graziano car crash is still in effect. Tampa Bay Online is reporting that Hulk Hogan's lawsuit against Wells Fargo Insurance will go back to state court. Hogan is suing the insurance company based on the fact that he believes that Wells Fargo failed to inform him that he needed additional insurance when his "exposure to risk" grew. This in turn left Hogan financially unprepared for the judgment brought against him in the John Graziano case. Wells Fargo had tried to bring the case to federal court, but the judge sided with Hogan, and it will now be heard n Pinellas County state court in Florida.

* Rey comes out and says he's true to his fans and starts speaking in Spanish a lot and pretty much kissing up to the fans and saying he didn't take out the undertaker. Then Drew McIntyre comes out and says asks how Rey could have done such a thing. Drew wants to take out Rey just like he took out Christian last week when he hurt his arm. He challenges Rey to a match later and Rey accepts.
* Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship is announced for later tonight.
* Cody Rhodes beat Matt Hardy with the crossroads
* Backstage, Teddy is demanding that Laycool give up one of the belts, Michelle gives up hers after arguing with Layla but then they argue more and they end up breaking the other belt in half but they seem happy about it.
* Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship. Vickie introduces Dolph Ziggler out: Ziggler becomes the NEW Intercontinental Champion after some interference from Vickie and then hitting the Zig Zag. Ziggler does a little celebration before Kofi goes bananas yet again and beats up Ziggler bad. Ziggler gets carried to the back.
* The Straight Edge Society vs. Big Show is announced for Summerslam
* Here comes the Straight Edge Society with Mercury, Gallows, Serena and Punk with his bald head. CM Punk shows footage from last week's beatdown on Big Show. the SES are proud of their handy work and punk asks his SES if they are happy and they say yes. He says don't be happy and to get on your knees and starts talking about that being happy makes them weak. He gives them a a little pep talk to get ready for their 6 man tag team match.
* MVP, Chris Masters, JTG vs. SES. SES wins after Luke Gallows pins MVP.
* They showed a video on the Ttitantron with Teddy talking with Jack Swagger. Swagger said it's Teddy's fault for what's going on with Kane and losing control. Teddy says he will not be in the triple threat match for the world title in the cage match later tonight and instead gives him the night off. I am not sure if this will be shown on TV, it looks like it was only for fans live since they mentioned the dark main event.
* Main Event: Rey Mysterio vs. Drew McIntrye: Rey Mysterio defeats Drew McIntrye with a rollup win. After the match, out comes Kane. Drew tosses Rey to Kane. Kane has brought a casket to the ring. Rey manages to escape and Rey then says he didn't take out the Undertaker, it was KANE!. Kane is in the ring just standing for a very long time looking up above to the ceiling. It looks like he was crying or getting mad or something, he didn't say a word and that's how it ended.

Kurt Angle: "Hulk May Be One Of The Best Human Beings I Know"
Posted on 07.28.10 by Jason Stone | TNA News |
TNA star Kurt Angle posted the following message Twitter this morning, putting Hulk Hogan over in a big way:
“Hulk hogan could be one of the best human beings I ever knew. I have wrestled him. Now I work for him. I love you hulkster. Kurt.”
While this is just speculation … We reported yesterday that Hulk Hogan is looking to become the next big “infomercial king” (TV product pitchman) and is already making moves within the industry to reach that goal.
Kurt Angle runs Angle Foods a company that sells “affordable gourmet and performance meals,” similar to NutraSystem program. Could Kurt Angle’s Twitter post be a sign that we’ll be seeing a Hogan & Angle infomercial at some point?

TNA iMPACT SPOILER Results -- August 5, 2010
Posted on 07.28.10 by Jason Stone | Results |
Here are the spoilers for the August 5 episode of TNA iMPACT!, which was taped earlier today. Report courtesy John Benoit and PWInsider:
*I arrived during a tryout matches featuring two talents I didn't recognize.
*Jeremy Buck pinned Okada.
TNA iMPACT!:
*Tommy Dreamer calls out Raven to explain his actions last week. Dreamer asks why he attacked him last week and said that his kids call him "Uncle Scotty" and now he has to explain to them what happened. Raven says he attacked Dreamer because he's been waiting to get at Dreamer since Dreamer stole his girl and married her. Dreamer went after Raven but Abyss showed up to make it a two on one. RVD hit the scene to make the save and brawled with Abyss. Raven DDT'd Dreamer on the stage. Mick Foley came out to help Dreamer and announced at the PPV it will be Dreamer vs. Raven in a Final Showdown with Foley as the guest referee.
*Hamada and Taylor Wilde defeated Lacey Von Erich and Velvet Sky to become to new TNA Knockouts Tag Team champions. Madison Rayne and the motorcycle woman show up on the ramp, distracting the champions to set up the finish.
*AJ Styles pinned Rob Terry after a lowblow to retain the TNA Global TV title.
*Later tonight is Abyss and Raven vs. Tommy Dreamer and Rob Van Dam.
*Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne are shown backstage being restrained by security because she's so angry over the loss of the Knockouts Tag titles.
*In a "Capture the X" style Ultimate X Match, it's Beer Money vs. The Motor City Machineguns. Robert Roode cuts a promo saying that The Guns have proven they are great and even though it's their type of match, Beer Money are taking the titles tonight. The Guns respond that the only way they are taking the belts is from their cold, dead hands. There are lots of great spots to open the match and some nice back and forth wrestling. Beer Money gets the upper hand but can't get the X because Roode is afraid of heights and Storm appears to have had a little too much to drink. Another great match between the two teams, with the end being Alex Shelley sliding acrossd the ropes while Roode walked across like a tight rope. They fought near the X and Roode got crotched and bumped into the ring while Shelley grabbed the X. They are tied 2-2.
*Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and Miss Tessmacher come to the ring. He announced RVD vs. Abyss match on the big Impact will be a "Stairway to Janice" match as a takeoff on the old ECW Stairway to Hell bout. Bischoff will be the referee. He announces the final Beer Money vs. Motor City Machineguns bout, Mr. Anderson vs. Pope Dinero, Kurt Angle vs. AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy having an open challenge that night as well. Kevin Nash comes out and says he's finally got some face time with Hulk and Eric. Hogan tells Nash it's time to step out of the spotlight and let the younger talents take over. Nash says he doesn't like that and lays out Bischoff. Hogan and Nash go face to face and Nash takes him out. Nash grtabs a chair but Jeff Jarrett hits the ring. He gets the chair and is about to use it but suddenly Sting shows up, in red facepaint and lays out Jarrett with a bat. Nash and Sting leave everyone laying.
*Orlando Jordan vs. Pope Dinero. Jordan and Pope face off. Jordan gets Pope in the corner and starts grinding on him, which Pope doesn;t like. Eric Young runs out and starts collecting all the money that fell during Pope's speech. That distracts Jordan, who Pope surprises with a pin. Matt Morgan attacks Pope after the match but Ken Anderson makes the save. Pope isn't happy Anderson did. The TNA security guards from last week show up and yell at Anderson as well.
*Backstage, Christy Hemme informs Ric Flair that if any member of Fortune interferes, Flair is suspended for 90 days.
*Jay Lethal vs. Ric Flair in a Street Fight. Flair is busted open early. His clothes are ripped off, leaving him battling in underwear and one sock. Douglas Williams shows up to help Flair. We get a Moon over Orlando. Flair finally gets the pin on Lethal after Williams pushes Jay's leg off the ropes.
*TNA champion Rob Van Dam and Tommy Dreamer defeated Raven and Abyss in a pretty good tag match. Van Dam nailed the five star frog splash on Raven. Abyss attacked them after the match but the ECW crew hit the ring. Abyss got the upper hand but the lights went out and when they returned, The Sandman was in the ring with the Singapore Cane and cleaned house. That should be where the show ends.
After they went off the air, they played "Enter Sandman" and all the ECW guys and Hulk Hogan had a beer bash in the ring.

WWE taped this week's edition of SmackDown from the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. Thanks to Dylan Johnson & Prowrestling.net for providing us with updates. Below are full results:
WWE SmackDown (Airing Friday):
The crew is setting up for Smackdown by placing a black carpet in the ring with a casket. Does this mean Undertaker is returning tonight?
Kane sat in the middle of the ring with the casket. A video recapped last week's show and Rey Mysterio becoming No. 1 contender. He said he sits by Undertaker everyday waiting for him to awake. He said he moved and opened his eyes for the first time yesterday. Kane said Undertaker also spoke. He said Taker could only say two words, which were the name of the person who attacked him.
Kane said anger went through his body when he heard the name. He said he couldn't believe that Rey Mysterio was the person who attacked his brother. He said Rey's name hangs in the air like a demon. He asked why Mysterio would do it.
Kane said beating Mysterio at SummerSlam won't be enough. He said Kane must pay for his sins and experience what Undertaker endured. He said he will stuff Kane inside the casket. The lights went out and Kane was still in the ring with the casket to close the segment...
It was announced that Mysterio would face Jack Swagger in a No DQ match...
1. Christian defeated Drew McIntyre. McIntyre set up Christian for his finisher and had the arms hooked for the DDT, but Christian countered with a small package out of nowhere for the win.
Layla will defend the WWE Women's Championship against Tiffany later tonight...
Cody Rhodes delivered grooming tips. He was wearing an avocado face mask. He said he was bringing us one step closer to being dashing...
An Alberto Del Rio vignette aired...
Backstage, C.M. Punk asked the rest of the SES which one was going to let him down. He smelled Serena's breath and told her thanks for showing up sober. He complained about Joey Mercury losing his mask. He said none of them would be anything without him. He pleaded with them to actually do something and said they should pack their bags if they don't. Awesome heel promo from Punk...
2. Big Show beat Luke Gallows by DQ. There was a funny spot where Show called for the ring announcer to put the mic next to Luke's chest before he chopped it. This was probably during the commercial break. In the end, the rest of SES jumped Show for the DQ. They continued to attack Show and did a spot with the ring steps that left Show lying. Punk removed his sling to show that his arm is fine.
3. Kofi Kingston beat Dolph Ziggler (w/Vickie Guerrero) by DQ. Vickie slapped Ziggler. Kofi flipped and was disqualified. Referees had to come out to restrain Kofi, who wouldn't stop attacking Ziggler...
Jack Swagger was interviewed backstage and said he wasn't in the mood for stupid questions. He said he's going to beat up Rey, break his arms, and throw him in the Gulf of Mexico...
Vickie Guerrero came out and announced that Michelle McCool would replace Layla in the match against Tiffany. Vickie had more heat than I've ever heard in my life. The match is still for the WWE Women's Championship.
4. Michelle McCool (w/Layla) defeated Tiffany (w/Kelly Kelly) to retain the WWE Women's Championship. Layla interfered in the match, which set up McCool getting the win.
Afterward, Teddy Long came out and said there only needs to be one women's champion. He said they can decide for themselves or he will make the decision next week. McCool and Layla argued over the title belts...
5. Rey Mysterio vs. Jack Swagger in a No DQ Match They battled outside the building. Rey hit a huracanrana that caused Swagger to fall into the water. Rey turned around and Kane grabbed him by the throat and chokeslammed him into the water to end Smackdown.
Dark Match
1. Kane vs. Big Show in a cage match for the World Hvt. Championship. The cage is much smaller than the one they use for televised matches. Show pumped up the live crowd.

Scott Hall Health Update, 2-Hour TNA Event On Spike, Corino
Posted on 07.27.10 by Jason Stone | TNA News |
-- From Kevin Nash on Twitter: "Scott Hall update: Scott's home. Clean 20+ days. And sounding great. He'll outlive us all. Love you Buddy!" There's been a rumor going around the net for weeks now that the 'double pneumonia' that Hall apparently had was a cover-up for drug rehab. That is just a rumor and is not confirmed though.
-- The August 12th iMPACT! will be a two-hour, PPV-style show. The show will air in its usual time slot, but will contain less backstage skits and angles and more in-ring with a higher quality of match. The ECW guys will work the show, and it will be headlined by RVD vs. Abyss for the world title. The nail-covered board (Janice) will hang from the ceiling.
-- In an interview with AOL's Fanhouse, Steve Corino says he won't be a part of TNA's Hardcore Justice PPV.

Hulk Hogan Wants To Be The New Billy Mays Of Infomercials
Posted on 07.27.10 by Jason Stone | TNA News |
TNA's Hulk Hogan is planning his next career move outside of the wrestling industry - he wants to be "the new Billy Mays" and become the best TV pitchman around. Mays was the king of infomercials before his unfortunate death last year, pitching everything from Oxyclean cleanser to Mighty Putty adhesive putty.
According to RadarOnline.com, Hogan recently linked up with fellow reality star and infomercial king, Kevin Harrington, to promote his latest product, pumMax a biodegradable pumice-based hand cleanser. But that's just the beginning, as Hogan's lawyer David Houston tells Daily Radar.
“Terry brings decades’ worth of charisma and credibility to the marketplace," Houston said. "Billy [Mays'] unfortunate passing kind of left a hole. We all agree that he certainly has some big shoes to fill as far as Billy Mays is concerned, but I don’t think that any of us doubt that he has the ability to do it."
“He went into a semi-retirement at one point, but after the divorce and settlement of personal injury litigation he’s putting his career back on track."
“I think it’s more of a continuation as opposed to a new beginning," said Houston - referring to Hogan's previous experience as a product pitchman. Over the years, Hogan has promoted many products, including Honey Nut Cheerios, Right Guard deodorant, Arbys and more.

Event: WWE Monday Night RAW Airdate: Monday, July 19th, 2010 (USA Network) Location: The AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas Results by: 411 Mania
“Yes, sir, we promised you a great main event…”
-We start things off with a recap of last weeks happenings between Cena and Nexus.
-And we're kicking things off with Cena himself. Cena says everything is bigger in Texas. What does that have to do with anything? Cena says a few weeks ago the Nexus destroyed everything in their path. No one was safe. They did this for reasons only known to them. If Nexus wanted you hurt, they made sure you got hurt, until last Monday. Finally the Raw superstars said they had had enough. Friends, enemies, it didn't matter because they had one common goal. They face Nexus at Summerslam and will end Nexus. They've been running Raw because people think they're invincible. They'll beat them at Summerslam and prove that they aren't. With power comes influence, and the more influence they get, they'll take over this show. And if they do then that could be the end of Monday Night Raw. Cena isn't really Superman (say what?). Jericho and Edge aren't Batman and Robin. They don't have to be the Justice League. Everyone on the team was chosen for a reason. BREAK THE WALLS DOWN!!
Jericho makes his way to the ring. Cena says Jericho is on the Summerslam team. Jericho says he was counting the minutes until what he knew eventually he would say, "my" team. John Cena's team. All week long people have been telling Chris that they're so excited he's on Cena's team and has changed his ways. Jericho wants to make one thing clear. He did not get involved in this to be a part of Cena's team or to bask in the glory of a hero or to shamelessly pander to a group of parasites. He got into this due to his problems with Nexus, and Wade Barrett. He knows Barrett and Nexus better than Cena, thus making him more qualified. Cena says the team is sold to Chris Jericho. Do whatever you want. The Liontamers, the Fozzyathon. Cena doesn't care, he just wants to beat Nexus. Chris tells him not to patronize him. This team lives or dies on Chris's whims. Cena just knocked the mic out of Jericho's hand. Shit is on son. Jericho looks dumbfounded. Cena says that it aint about Chris, it's not about him (Cena), it's about this damn business. Nexus has taken over this company. They've gotten to whatever they want. They love the business. That's why they're doing this. Do you understand what I'm (Cena) saying to you right now? They have to co-exist. Yes, he knows Barrett better than anyone. Jericho is essential to this team. Jericho says not to knock the mic out of his hand again. Second of all, he knows how essential he is to the team. He knows that the only chance they have of beating Nexus is if they have the best in the world fighting beside them. He sees the big picture. Nexus isn't the only threat to the company. The threats name is John Cena. Cena is more like Nexus than he thinks. He walks around interrupting people, saying what he wants to say, the only difference is that he does it with the support of these drones. At Summerslam, as soon as the threat of Nexus has been abolished, he's going to look to the other threat, Cena. Even if he has to do it by himself. He's gonna do it, do you understand? Cena tells him to take his best shot. And we've got an email. "The match at Summerslam will now be an elimination match. The team that eliminates all the members of the opposing team first will be the winners. In a preview of Summerslam, the Nexus will face 7 Raw superstars in an elimination match tonight. Tonight we'll see how John and Chris function as a team against opponents of his choosing. And if you're not down with that, I've got two words for you."
-Slam of the Week recaps Miz attempting to cash in on Sheamus, only to be interrupted by R-Truth.
-And here comes the Celtic Warrior, the WWE Champion, Sheamus. He's out to join King and Coleslaw on commentary.
Match 1: Randy Orton vs Jey Uso (w/ Jimmy Uso and Tamina)
Wow, this is a random match. Headlock by Orton. Jey pushes him off but gets hit with a shoulderblock. Orton stares down Sheamus before going back to work down Jey. Slingshot by Orton, launching Jey throat first into the bottom rope. Jey hangs Orton up on the top rope. Stomps by Jey now, and a running diving headbutt follows. Pin but only two. Orton fights out of a submission. Both guys trade shots now, with Orton getting the upper hand. Clothesline by Orton, and another. Vintage scoop slam. Orton knocks Jimmy off the apron. Jey gets planted with that rope hung DDT. You know what time it is. R! K! O!! Forget about it.
Winner: Randy Orton
Jimmy attacks Orton from behind. Orton starts to fight back. Orton ducks the Brogue Kick from Sheamus, and Sheamus accidentally nails Jimmy. RKO TO SHEAMUS! Here comes The Miz! He's got a ref and he's cashing in!
Match 2: The Miz vs Sheamus - WWE Championship
Orton nails Miz with an RKO! Orton poses to the crowd.
-Edge is in the back. He says he can't wait until Summerslam to get his revenge, but he wishes you (Ted Dibiase) was on his team instead of Khali. The Great Khali? Seriously? He's clumsy, uncoordinated and unbright. Maryse says they can't understand him when he talks. Dibiase says when he beats Morrison tonight, Cena will open his eyes and see that he deserves to be on his team. Edge says good, otherwise he'll have to take out Khali himself. Edge walks off. We see Rajin Singh talking to some guy and walks off. Kind of random, but whatever.
-Miz is in the ring arguing with Sheamus. Cole's got an email. Hes received another manager from the email. He's found the team to challenge Jericho and Cena tonight. It will be a team of champions. The U.S. Champ The Miz, and the WWE Champion Sheamus. Miz and Sheamus continue arguing.
-Summerslam Recall: 1988, Honky Tonk Man putting his belt on the line against the Ultimate Warrior.
-Edge is on his phone in the back. Khali comes into his locker room and starts shouting. Singh said he heard what Edge said and he told Khali. Edge says he never said those things and that he has respect for Khali. Khali says some stuff. Singh says that Khali said Edge is a nincompoop, and Khali has challenged Edge to a match right now. Edge says if he wins, Khali is off the team.
Match 2: The Great Khali (w/ Rajin Singh) vs Edge
During the commercial, Jerry Lawler has headed to the back of the locker room as he'll be part of the 7 on 7 elimination match later tonight. You know what that means. Michael Cole is flying solo. Oh joy.
Edge avoids Khali in the corner and gets a right hand in, but Khali no sells it. Khali throws Edge into the corner and hits him with a chop. Edge starts fighting back, but gets planted with a short arm clothesline. Edge avoids a leg drop. And here comes the Nexus. Edge bails out through the crowd. Nexus surrounds the ring as Khali stands alone. They all enter the ring. Where's the rest of the Raw roster? They allow Khali to leave though. Khali walks off. Cole says he has no idea what's going on.
Winner: Uh, no contest, I guess
-Later tonight, Cena teams with Jericho to face The Miz and Sheamus. Before that though, Mark Henry, Evan Bourne, The Hart Dynasty, Yoshi Tatsu, Goldust and Jerry Lawler face the Nexus.
Match 3: The Nexus vs Mark Henry, Evan Bourne, Goldust, Yoshi Tatsu, Jerry Lawler and Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty (w/ Natalya) - Elimination Tag Team match
Tarver and Yoshi start things off. Tie up to start, and Tarver pushes Yoshi in the corner. Chops by Yoshi. WOO!!! Kicks by Yoshi. Yoshi gets a boot up in the corner. Modified powerslam by Tarver. Bye Yoshi.
Eliminated: Yoshi Tatsu by Michael Tarver
Evan Bourne's in. Here comes Justin Gabriel. Bourne ducks a shot and backdrops Gabriel. Here comes Lawler. Right hands by The King. Dropkick connects. Tremendous. King goes to the second rope. Diving fist drop. Pin but only two. Nexus pulls Gabriel to the outside. Cole tells us Team Raw is on a 7 to 6 roll. What kind of roll is that? We're heading to commercial.
We're back, and Tyson has Slater in a sleeper. During the commercial Slater eliminated Lawler with a Zig Zag. Slater's fighting back, but to no avail. Stomps in the corner by Tyson. Here comes David. Delayed vertical suplex. Pin but only two. Sidewalk slam into a backbreaker by David. Legdrop follows. Right hands by Smith. Boot in the corner by Slater, and he goes to the second rope, but David cuts him off. Powerslam countered with another Zig Zag.
Eliminated: David Hart Smith by Heath Slater
Here comes Goldust. Clothesline by Goldust. Reverse atomic drop followed with a right hand. Slater comes back and here comes David Otunga. Backdrop countered with an uppercut by Goldust. Darren Young trips the leg of Goldust. The Verdict by Otunga. Forget about it.
Eliminated: Goldust by David Otunga
Here comes Mark Henry. Military press by Henry. Slater gets the tag but runs right into a clothesline. Hiptoss by Henry. Here comes Darren Young, but he too runs into a clothesline. Big boot by Henry. Here comes Sheffield. Sheffield with the clubbing blows. Henry counters a clothesline into a slam. And another slam by Henry. Henry throws Gabriel into the ring. Splash in the corner to Gabriel. Henry turns around and gets planted with a clothesline.
Eliminated: Mark Henry by Skip Sheffield
Bourne and Tyson are talking in the corner. Both guys avoids Sheffield. Tyson springboards into the ring but gets planted with a clothesline. Darren Young gets the tag. Full nelson/twisting flapjack combo.
Eliminated: Tyson Kidd by Darren Young
Bourne's the last guy left. Barrett gets the tag. Jumping knee by Bourne. Bourne's taking it to Nexus. Someone hung Bourne up on the top rope. The Wasteland by Barrett. Forget about it.
Eliminated: Evan Bourne by Wade Barrett
Winners: The Nexus (This was alright. Nothing special, but it did what it needed to do in order to put over Nexus)
Post match sees Sheffield plant Bourne with a clothesline. The Verdict by Otunga. Gabriel goes to the top. 450! Barrett grabs a mic. He says we just witnessed an act of total domination. The Nexus has always been 100% behind to common purpose. Cena's team, or Jericho's team, the cracks are already starting to show due to their egos and agendas. Loud "You Suck" chant. Barrett assures us, come Summerslam, those cracks are going to destroy the very foundation of that team. Sheffield says Cena has a team of wrestlers without a singular focus. No member of their team is willing to sacrifice themselves for the benefit of the group. What you are looking at is the Nexus, and they are unbreakable. Tarver says Summerslam will be no different from what they did tonight. They will eliminate each member of the opposing team until there is one member left, and they hope its Cena, so they can treat him like a piece of meat. They will sink their teeth into him and rip his flesh apart. They will pounce, and when they do, they will put him out of his misery.
-Miz is in the back. Sheamus shows up and Miz gets in his face. Sheamus says it's been two weeks in a row Miz has tried to cash in. It's never gonna happen, he's dreaming, there's no chance in the world Miz can beat him. Miz says he can. Sheamus tells him to name a time and place. Miz says tonight, how about immediately after they face Cena and Jericho. Miz will throw Sheamus back in the ring as Cena hits Sheamus with an AA and Jericho puts him in the Walls. When Sheamus says he can't take it anymore fella, Miz will hit a Skull Crushing Finale, and become the new WWE Champion. Sheamus says if he keeps pushing him, he'll regret it. Sheamus knocks the briefcase out of Miz's hands and walks off.
Match 4: Brie Bella (w/ Nikki Bella) vs Diva's Champion Alicia Fox
Kick by Alicia, and she throws Brie into the corner. Shoulder block by Alicia. Hard irish whip into the other corners, and she starts stomping Brie in the corner. Jillian runs down. Roll up by Brie but only two. Kick by Alicia, and she hits the Axe Kick. Pin and that's all.
Winner: Alicia Fox (This match was kind of like taking a huge dump. You really don't want to and you know it's going to be painful, but you're gonna have to get it out of the way one way or another)
Jillian grabs a mic. Oh god. She says the twins finally got what they deserved. She's going to sing now. She starts singing "We Are the Champions". Axe Kick by Alicia.
-R-Truth is here. San Antonio! WAZZUPP!! R-Truth's gonna be joining King and Coleslaw on commentary.
Match 5: Million Dollar Champion Ted Dibiase (w/ Maryse) vs John Morrison
And once again, Maryse is looking damn fine. Truth says he's out here to support John Morrison. Morrison's starting to grow some facial hair, which probably means he's going to be turning heel soon. Tie up to start, and Dibiase pushes John into the corner. Maryse distracts John and Ted goes on the attack. Pin but only one. Ted starts grinding his forearm into Morrison's face. Pin but only two. Chinlock by Ted is applied. Morrison tries to fight out, but Ted keeps the advantage. Right hands by Morrison. Clothesline connects. Jumping high kick by Morrison follows. Boot in the corner by Ted, but Morrison kills him with a gamengiri. Starship Pain coming up. Maryse distracts Morrison. Roll up by Ted and he gets his feet on the ropes, but Truth pushes them off. Drop toe hold by Ted sends Morrison into Truth. Pin and that's all.
Winner: Ted Dibiase (This was pretty short and mainly used to put over the angle. It still wasn't bad though, just alright)
Morrison and Truth are arguing. Morrison walks off pissed. They continue arguing on the ramp as Cena watches on a TV in the back.
-Jet's "Rip It Up" is the official theme of Summerslam.
-We get a recap of the Cena/Nexus stuff.
-Josh Matthews is in the back with Randy Orton. Orton says if he was paying attention that before he RKO'd Miz, he RKO'd Sheamus. The question of who would be champion walking into Summerslam doesn't matter, because they're going to end up getting an RKO.
Match 6: United States Champion and Mr. Money in the Bank The Miz and WWE Champion Sheamus vs Chris Jericho and John Cena
Miz goes for a cheap shot on Cena, but Cena ducks and takes control. Bulldog by Cena. Miz bails out. Miz gets back in and tags in Sheamus. Tie up, and Sheamus locks in a headlock. Cena rolls through and locks in a headlock. Shoulder block by Cena. Cena pushes Sheamus into the corner and Jericho gets the tag. Forearms by Jericho. Sheamus counters into shots of his own. Dropkick by Jericho off the irish whip. Choking in the corner by Jericho. Sheamus starts to fight back. Jericho stops short and low bridges Sheamus over the top. Miz starts yelling at Sheamus as we head to commercial.
We're back and Sheamus kills Cena with a clothesline. Miz gets the tag and starts working down Cena. Fisherman's suplex by Cena. Pin but only two. Jericho gets the tag. Knee lift by Jericho. Roll up by Jericho into a Walls attempt, but Sheamus goes after him. Miz ducks a clothesline and hits him with a springboard dropkick. Boot by Miz takes Jericho down. Sheamus gets the tag. Miz is choking Jericho in the corner. Clothesline by Sheamus takes down Y2J. Pin but only two. Crossface chickenwing locked in by Sheamus. Jericho fights out but gets planted with the Irish Curse. Pin but only two. Jericho's fighting back, but to no avail. Miz gets the tag and starts stomping down Jericho. Miz is choking Jericho in the ropes. Running guillotine attack follows. Pin but Jericho grabs the ropes. Kick by Jericho, and another. Jericho goes to the second rope and hits a missile dropkick. Sheamus gets the tag and takes out Jericho. Modified camel clutch locked in by Sheamus. Jericho gets back to his feet and fights out. Tag to Miz and he works down Jericho in the corner. Miz goes for the clothesline in the corner, but Jericho avoids it. Sheamus gets the tag, but so does Cena. Shoulderblock. And another. Vintage slam. You Can't See Me! Five Knuckle Shuffle. Miz distracts the ref. Jericho nails Cena with a Codebreaker. Miz tags himself in and covers Cena for the win.
Winners: The Miz and Sheamus (Good main event here, and it's nice to see things freshened up with Miz thrown into the mix)
Jericho gets in the ring as Cena's writhing in pain on the mat. Walls of Jericho locked in. ASK HIM!!! Cena counters out into the STF. Jericho's tapping out. Khali gets into the ring and rolls Cena off. He starts talking to Cena. Edge Spear's Khali out of nowhere. Cena and Edge start arguing. Morrison and Truth run in. Everyone's pushing each other around. Khali chops Morrison. Apparently the Spear has no affect on him. Everyone keeps arguing as we fade out.

I got to the Impact Zone a little late tonight. When I walked in, there was an in-ring segment with the Hardcore Originals (including Team 3D), Hulk Hogan and Abyss to set up Dreamer vs. Abyss in the main event. Hogan noted Tommy Dreamer was there as a guest of TNA.
*Sarita vs. Angelina Love. Love defeated Sarita.
*We are shown a video clip with Orlando Jordan and Eric Young setting up a tag match tonight. Young seems to be doing a deal where he's acting goofy because he was kicked in the head.
*Ink, Inc. defeated Orlando Jordan and Eric Young. Jordan kissed Socal Val while making his way to the ring. Young brought a male fake model in pink feathers down to the ring with him and put it in their corner.
*A Universal employee warned everyone not to hop the rail as a kid did last time. Dixie Carter and Hermie Sadler are in the house.
*Tommy Dreamer did a promo backstage saying that he might not have a TNA contract, but tonight he's going to show Abyss what Extreme is. The Abyss vs. Dreamer bout is a Hardcore match.
*Ric Flair came out and announced Beer Money were the final two members of Fortune. So, it's Beer Money, AJ Styles and Kazarian in the group. Flair announces he will return to the ring against Jay Lethal next week. Robert Roode says that when they defeat the Motor City Machineguns in a Steel Cage tonight, they will be the new Tag Team champions. Kazarian cut a promo about being in Fortune. Styles cut a promo about being the Global champion. Kurt Angle came out and told Styles he was next on Angle's list.
*As they set up the Steel Cage, Jeremy Borash pushed fans to order VIP packages for TNA Hardcore Justice as they are close to selling out at www.shoptna.com.
*Beer Money vs. Motor City Machineguns in a Steel Cage (Match 3 of 5 match series). They are doing traditional tag rules inside the Cage. Roode is busted open. The crowd is into this one big time. The roof came off the Impact Zone after Alex Shelley flew from the top of the cage to land on Beer Money. James Storm nailed Roode with the beer bottle accidentally and both members of BM were pinned. 2-1 now and the Guns are still alive. Awesome match.
*Matt Morgan comes to the ring to Mr. Anderson's music. He mocks calling for the mic but doesn't get it until his third try. Morgan mocks Anderson introducing himself and makes up a bunch of fake info about himself calling himself 8 foot tall and 484 pounds. Ken Anderson comes out on the ramp and has a mic lowered for him. Anderson comes down to the ring. Morgan makes fun of the attack on him last week. Morgan dares Ken to hit him which Anderson eventually does. Morgan gets the upper hand again and chokes Anderson with the mic chord. Jeff Hardy comes down to make the save and unloads. Security comes in to break them up. Morgan gets a couple cheap shots in until D'Lo Brown, Simon Diamond and Al Snow come in and yell at security to end the segment.
*They air a graphic listing an Eric Bischoff announcement as well as Jeff Hardy & Ken Anderson vs. Matt Morgan and...a TNA security guard.
*Rob Terry pinned Kazarian in 30 seconds.
*Anderson & Hardy vs. Morgan & Security Guard. Morgan walks off and leaves the Guards to fend for themselves. Hardy pins one with a Twist of Fate.
*Eric Bischoff announced that the 8/12 edition of Impact will be a special episode featuring former ECW stars. The main event of that episode will be TNA champion Rob Van Dam vs. Abyss with Janice hanging above the ring in a Hardcore Match. Abyss came out and tried to use Janice on Bischoff but Rob Van Dam made the save. Abyss got the upper hand but TNA management came out. Finally, Tommy Dreamer hit the scene and the main event kicked off....
*Dreamer vs. Abyss. Dreamer is in control but they go to ringside. Dreamer uses a beer can on Abyss, then throws the trash can full of weapons into the ring. The crowd is totally behind Dreamer. Dreamer does the whole ECW baseball slide into Abyss with the trash can in front of abyss' face. Dreamer brings out a barbed wire board. Dreamer picks up the trash can but Abyss punches it in his face, then chokeslams Dreamer to get the pinfall victory.

Former WWE Diva Admits To Steroid Use
Posted on 07.26.10 by Jason Stone | WWE News |
Dawn Marie Damatta, who performed for World Wrestling Entertainment from 2002 to 2005, admitted to the Connecticut Post that she used steroids during the course of her tenure in the organization.
"I chose to take that shortcut," the former WWE Diva said. "Did Vince (McMahon) tell me to take that shortcut? No. Did WWE? No. Why did I do it? Because I thought that's what I needed to do in order to keep up ... There was no testing policy."
Damatta feels one only needs to take a look at the physiques of present day WWE talent to know that steroid use is not as prevalent as it was in the past. She also believes the company's drug testing policy has reduced the abuse of drugs such as painkillers, therefore saving lives. However, she feels Linda and Vince McMahon could do more to assist former talent.
"Wrestlers are taken as children, thrown into this industry and then we're dumped back out as adults. There's no learning in the world. We're on the road, traveling, hustling, getting beat up," Damatta said. "Where do I go? What do I put on a resume?"

WWE employees involved with the company's marketing division were issued a directive a few weeks ago from Vince McMahon prohibiting them from using anything relating to the image of Shawn Michaels.
A marketing idea concerning Michaels had previously been approved by top WWE officials, reportedly including Vince McMahon, but was later nixed by the company chairman with the ban set.
Meanwhile, those close to Michaels say he is mentally through with the professional wrestling industry and has it engrained in his mind that he will never return in any form.

To specify the injury Triple H most recently underwent surgery for, he suffered a torn bicep. The current belief is that it could be as late as December before "The Game" is healthy enough to make his much anticipated return to the squared circle, with late October being optimistic.
Nonetheless, officials are still contemplating turning the multi-time champion heel and aligning him with Nexus, though if it were to happen, the angle would be required to continue for at least a few more months.
It should be noted that 'H' has wanted to turn heel for quite some time now so we'll see what happens upon his return to World Wrestling Entertainment.

Lance Storm Turns Down TNA's HardCORE Justice Invitation
Posted on 07.24.10 by Jason Stone | TNA News |
Lance Storm, who has been highly critical of TNA Wrestling's creative process in recent years, posted a blog on his official website saying he declined their offer to appear at next month's Hardcore Justice pay-per-view event. Here is his full statement:
I was hoping to write a bigger article about the TNA: ECW Themed PPV, because I am getting bombarded with questions, but I've got a very busy schedule for the next week, so I'll just address this here and now.
I was asked if I would be interested in taking part in the TNA: One Last Stand PPV. I think it was big of them to extend me the offer, considering my general opinion of the TNA product, and want to I thank them for that, but I will not be taking part.
I feel it would be hypocritical of me to work the show, considering my out outspoken views of the TNA product. I have a great deal of respect for the boys who will be working the show as well as the great workers on the TNA roster, but I have no desire to be a part of the TNA creative process. As for ECW, One Night Stand in 2005 was my farewell and am content in letting sleeping dogs lie.

TNA Changes PPV Name To "HardCORE Justice"
Posted on 07.23.10 by Jason Stone | TNA News |
TNA sent out the following press release today:
TOTAL NONSTOP ACTION (TNA) WRESTLING ANNOUNCES SPECIAL ‘HARDCORE JUSTICE' PAY-PER-VIEW EVENT LIVE AUGUST 8
Nashville, Tennessee (July 23, 2010) - Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling President Dixie Carter and "The Extreme Original" Tommy Dreamer announced today that "Hard Justice," TNA's live pay-per-view event August 8 at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, will transform to "HardCORE Justice," a one-night-only celebration of extreme, hardcore wrestling featuring a never before seen reunion of legendary wrestling superstars.
Carter granted the request made by Dreamer and his band of hardcore originals - Mick Foley, Raven, "The War Machine" Rhino and Stevie Richards on last night's "TNA Thursday Night iMPACT!" on Spike TV (9p.m. ET/PT) to have "one last chance" to celebrate the history and the passion of extreme hardcore wrestling.
"Giving Tommy this chance is one of the easiest decisions I've ever made as TNA President," Carter said. "For years I've heard fans talk about the similarities between TNA and what these guys accomplished. Tommy, Mick and these superstars sacrificed everything, and not for money, but for the love of our sport and for the fans.."
Carter continued, "These guys set the bar so high with the passion they brought to this business. I've been lucky to have had so many work for me through the years, and now to have a locker room today with that same fire and drive to help build TNA. This is my chance to show our appreciation."
"Dixie has allowed us to have a chance to finally thank the fans that have supported us for all of these years," Dreamer said. "In the past, we've been lied to and we've been punished for being who we were and building what we did. Now we have a chance to get everyone back together for one last night."
Carter also announced today that Dreamer would be given full creative control of "HardCORE Justice." In addition to the hardcore originals, Dreamer revealed a few more names for "HardCORE Justice,": Current TNA agents Al Snow and Simon Diamond, as well as tag team legends Team 3D and current TNA World Heavyweight Champion Rob Van Dam. Dreamer confirmed that Van Dam will compete at the pay-per-view event, but will not defend his title.
"TNA is the only place that this event could happen," Dreamer said. "There are no politics to worry about and no restrictions in place. The fans know that I have a lot of extremely close friends, so they can expect anything and everything to happen. I have some surprises for everyone," he said.
TNA officials have also announced a newly revised "HardCORE Justice VIP Weekend." Originally created to celebrate Mick Foley's 25th anniversary in professional wrestling, the VIP event will now feature a special "hardcore reunion" with Foley, Dreamer, Richards, Rhino and many more hardcore wrestlers on Saturday August 7 at the NASCAR Grill at Universal Studios' City Walk. In addition, the VIP package includes guaranteed VIP early admission into "HardCORE Justice" as well as both tapings of "iMPACT!" on August 8-9, as well as a private post-show Q&A session with Foley, Dreamer and friends on August 8.
The "HardCORE Justice VIP Weekend" retails for $99, and is the only way for fans to guarantee admission to the "iMPACT Zone!" for "HardCORE Justice." Tickets can be purchased at www.ShopTNA.com.
Dreamer, who stated that more names and matches would be announced in the coming weeks on "TNA Thursday Night iMPACT!," said that "HardCORE Justice" would be "The Last Stand" for the legacy of Hardcore wrestling.
"This is it for an event like this, and it's the perfect send off we never thought we'd receive. It's funny, because there had never been a wrestling company that the fans would chant for by name since our time… until TNA began."

Mattel announced during today's San Diego Comic-Con International event that both Randy Savage and Ultimate Warrior had been signed by the company to take part in their "WWE Defining Moments" wrestling action figure line.
In an even bigger shocker, Savage cut a classic "Macho Man" promo hyping his upcoming action figure at the event via video message.
This would be the first WWE produced Randy Savage action figure since the early nineties when the company was working with Hasbro, and fuels rumors that Savage may be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame next year.

Goldberg Says He'd Do One More Match
Posted on 07.22.10 by Jason Stone | WWE News |
In an interview with the San Diego Union-Tribune, former wrestling champion Bill Goldberg said he wants one final wrestling match because he wants his family to see him wrestle live. "If the money was right, I'd go out there and do it in two seconds," Goldberg said. "I'd have to be totally prepared for it, because I wouldn't want to tarnish my image, but I'd like to be in the ring one more time so that my wife and my son can see me wrestle live."
He also discussed his love/hate relationship with the wrestling industry in the interview. "I don't ever want to say that I miss anything about the wrestling business," Goldberg said. "I miss the ability to put a smile on a kid’s face, more than one at a time. That was a true charge for me."

TNA Considering Holding ECW-Only Events

TNA officials have discussed the possibility of holding select house show events featuring former ECW talent in markets where the defunct promotion was most popular. The feeling amongst those pushing for it is that the ECW alumni will work cheap, thus resulting in a profitable venture for the company.
However, it doesn't appear that officials have mentioned the venture to those contacted for Hard Justice. It should be noted though that both Tommy Dreamer and Terry Taylor have asked ECW talents who have been contacted what their work schedules are like following the PPV. Tommy Dreamer is said to be the lead-man behind everything ECW in TNA these days.
We'll keep you posted as we get more but please take this only as a RUMOR right now.

-- TNA Wrestling officials have discussed using former ECW World Heavyweight Champion Justin Credible at next month's Hard Justice pay-per-view. However, it has not been confirmed that he will be working the TNA Hard Justice PPV, or if he has even been contacted to appear. Credible briefly appeared with TNA in 2003, forming a stable with several other ECW alumni and reviving his feud with Jerry Lynn.
-- Yoshihiro Tajiri and Super Crazy are booked in Japan on August 8th, and will not be appearing at the event.
-- Talent with independent bookings on Saturday will be flown into Orlando on Sunday morning. Others that can be there will be doing a Saturday meet and greet with fans at the NASCAR restaurant at Universal Citiwalk.
-- TNA is trying to take the approach of the first One Night Stand show, booking who they can to make it an authentic feeling event, including referees and managers. There has even been discussion of honoring former ECW talent that cannot be there on the show.
-- Former ECW performer Michael Depoli (a/k/a Amish Roadkill) has reportedly declined TNA Wrestling's offer to appear at next month's Hard Justice pay-per-view event. His reason for declining their offer is that he considers himself retired from professional wrestling and simply has no interest in returning.

Former TNA Star Returning?, Details On Ed Ferrera's Firing
Posted on 07.20.10 by Jason Stone | TNA News |
-- The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that many within TNA feel its "only a matter of time" before Christopher Daniels returns to the organization. For what it's worth, he is still listed on the company website's roster section. It was speculated that Daniels was going to be part of the mystery tag team at Victory Road, though it turned out to be Samoa Joe and Rob Terry. It's said that Joe and Terry were planned for the event all along.
-- TNA officials have been quiet regarding creative writer Ed Ferrera's recent departure from the organization. In fact, those who would be aware of the details surrounding his departure have declined to comment on the matter. The early word on Ferrara's firing was that it was done due to budget reasons but it appears to be something more now. We're just not sure what that is as of this writing.
Ferrara's departure means that more work is being put on Vince Russo. Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan not appearing at recent TV tapings have also created more work for Russo these days.

TNA Drawing Less Than 10,000 PPV Buys For Two Events
Posted on 07.20.10 by Jason Stone | TNA News |
(source: www.f4wonline.com)
It is believed that TNA Wrestling’s May and June pay-per-view events, Sacrifice and Slammiversary, drew approximately 8,000 buys apiece. The gross sum per event would total to approximately $111,000 for the company, though that is before the expense of running a live pay-per-view event is factored in.
By comparison, TNA drew in the neighborhood of 25,000 to 30,000 pay-per-view buys when iMPACT! was airing at 11 p.m. on Saturday nights. And when World Championship Wrestling was on its death bed, the company was still garnering approximately 40,000 buys per pay-per-view.
To draw another comparison, illegal live streams of TNA Wrestling pay-per-view events are nowhere near as popular as that of World Wrestling Entertainment and UFC. According to a source in monitoring, there are usually thirty to fifty unique live streams for wrestling pay-per-view events with an average of 1,000 viewers per stream prior to its termination. For last week’s Victory Road pay-per-view, there were only five streams across the major live streaming sites Justin.tv, Ustream.tv and freedocast.com. Victory Road garnered less than 1,500 viewers per stream. Meanwhile, live streams for WWE events are averaging 60,000 viewers, and UFC events tend to have live viewers in excess of 200,000.

-- Eric Bischoff confirmed on his Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/TheEricBischoff) that he, Hulk Hogan and producer Jason Hervey will be on hand for next week's iMPACT! television tapings in Orlando.
He also responded to a fan's negative remarks towards Vince Russo and suggestion to join forces with Paul Heyman. "I appreciate your comments, but you really don't know what you are talking about," Bischoff replied. "While Vince and I have certainly had our differences, and we still don't agree on everything all the time, he is a very talented guy doing an amazing job under some pretty extraordinary circumstances. Lighten up and enjoy!"
-- The Miami Herald recently interviewed Jeff Jarrett, who spoke on TNA iMPACT's failed move to Monday "We all went into the Monday night experiment with our eyes wide open, and we dove in head first. In reality, our viewers only missed two Thursdays. We were on replay every week. So the time-slot never really went away. We've listened to our fans. We've listened to our focus groups. We've listened to numbers, and we would never have gotten to where we are today had we not tried that experiment."
-- Announced for this weekend's TNA house shows in Bloomington, IL and LaPorte, IN are Jeff Hardy vs. Abyss in a Monster's Ball, Ink Inc. vs. Beer Money, TNA Knockouts champion Madison Rayne vs. Taylor Wilde, plus AJ Styles, Jeff Jarrett, Kevin Nash and more.
-- TNA's Generation Me will appear at the Pro Wrestling Destination show in Reno on September 17th. More details are available at http://www.pwdwrestling.com/

“Yes, sir, we promised you a great main event…”
-Here we go. Pyro and all kicks us off as Lawler and Coleslaw welcome us in. Tonight, there will be no interference, as Wade Barrett faces Mark Henry in singles action, and the Nexus has been banned from ringside.
We're kicking things off big tonight.
Match 1 : Randy Orton vs Chris Jericho vs Edge - Triple Threat match - Winner earns a WWE Championship match at Summerslam
Orton takes it to the heels first. Jericho blindsides Orton though and throws him into the corner. Edge and Jericho are now double teaming The Viper. Orton's fighting back though as he throws Edge to the outside. Edge hangs Orton up on the top rope, and Jericho's back on the attack. Jericho yelling at Edge to attack Orton. Jericho holds Orton as Edge strikes him in the gut. Edge and Jericho go for a double back drop, but Orton drops down with the double DDT. Never thought I'd see that. Orton pins Edge but only get two. Knee drop by Orton. And another. Orton now working down Edge with kicks. Orton wants the RKO. Edge pushes him off and Jericho hits him with a Codebreaker. Pin but Edge breaks it up. Both guys are now going at it as the action spills to the outside. Edge slams Jericho's head into the announce table as we head to commercial.
We're back and Jericho's working down Edge. Jericho gets on the apron but Orton rams him down right into Edge. Orton goes for the hangmans DDT on Jericho. Edge comes up and he goes to hit him with it too. Edge bails out so Orton just hits Jericho with it. Pin but Edge breaks it up. Edge then brings Orton to the outside and throws him into the barricade. Edge covers Jericho but only gets two. Edge now back working down Orton. Edge throws Orton back into the ring and covers, but only gets two. Right hands by Edge. Edge runs off the ropes but Jericho trips him and brings him to the outside, proceeding to throw him into the announce table. Jericho runs back into the ring and boots Orton. Pin but Orton kicks out. Sleerphold locked in by Jericho on Orton. ASK HIM!! Orton fights out, but to no avail. Jericho runs off the ropes but gets taken down with a clothesline. Vintage scoop slam. Pin but only two. Orton wants another hangmans DDT. Edge runs in but gets taken down with a clothesline. Inverted backbreaker. Pin but only two. Orton wants the hangmans DDT on Jericho again. Jericho with a double leg and locks in the Walls. ASK HIM!!! Orton's nowhere near the ropes. He's crawling. Jericho pulls him to the center. Edge runs in and hits Jericho with the Edgecution. Pin but Jericho kicks out just in time. Edge thinking Spear. Jericho counters with a roll up into the Walls of Jericho. ASK HIM!!! Edge manages to get to the ropes. Roll up by Edge, but Jericho just barely kicks out. Edge clotheslines Jericho to the outside. Orton's back in. Edge counters an RKO attempt into the Edgeomatic. Pin but only two. Edge thinking Spear again. Jericho tackles Edge on the spear attempt. Roll up by Orton but Edge rolls up Orton and Jericho breaks up the pin. Triple clothesline take all three out. Jericho backdrops Edge over the top. Orton gets dropped on an RKO attempt. Lionsault misses. Orton wants the RKO, and the crowd's loving it. RKO connects! And one to Edge! Orton pins Edge and it's over.
Winner : Randy Orton (Really good match between these three. Great way to kick off the show)
Orton's now the number one contender and will get his shot at Sheamus at Summerslam.
-Edge is in the ring, and he's demanding that Jericho comes out. He says it's gone on between them for too long. Here comes Jericho. Edge says it's gone on between them for 11 years. How many championships have they cost each other? How many years off their careers have they taken off of each others? It has to end tonight. Jericho grabs a mic. He says for the first time in 11 years they agree on something, because it's going to end tonight. Last week, Jericho had a conversation with Wade Barrett, and he (Barrett) said he's (Jericho) the reason that he's achieved what he (Barrett) has. Jericho could snap his fingers and Nexus would come out here. Edge doesn't understand what he's saying, because he doesn't think Nexus agrees with that. Nexus wouldn't have a problem taking out a guy who has no problem claiming that the success is due to him (Jericho). And here they come. Barrett says they're both veterans and highly respected, and Nexus would be lucky to call either one of them an ally. They've had successful, innovative, hall of fame careers. But Edge, Jericho is right. Nexus wouldn't just take years off his career, they'd end it. They all take it to Edge now. Jericho is directing traffic in the background. Huge spear by Sheffield. Jericho locks Edge in the Walls. YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENS!!! The Nexus stare at Jericho, and he stares back. Barrett says the funny thing is, Edge was also right, because they would really like to shut up the guy who claims to be behind Nexus' success. Jericho attacks Barrett and here we go. The Nexus pulls Jericho off and attack him. Barrett with some huge rights. Barrett asks what Jericho taught him. Another shot by Barrett. Tarver and Sheffield pick up Jericho. The Verdict by Otunga drills Jericho into the mat. They all stand over Jericho. The Nexus walks away, leaving Jericho laid out in the ring while Edge is out on the the outside.
-We get a recap of the events that just occurred. The Nexus is walking in the back. Matthews asks Barrett about whether he can favorably compete with Mark Henry. Barrett asks him if he's quaking in his boots. Barrett says that's what Mark Henry's doing right now. Barrett's about to write a new chapter in WWE, and it doesn't end very well for Mark Henry. It's Sheamus fella. He says he has a proposal of Barrett that he thinks he would like to hear. Barrett tells him to come into his office. Sheamus says he'd rather not.
-John Cena is in the back. Cena says he's not going to complain. He's dissapointed in himself. He didn't shake Barrett's hand because he thought he could stop him. He can't. Nobody can. Jericho and Edge were just decimated. Tonight, Cena would like to meet the Nexus in the ring because he has something to say to them. They made his life miserable. The Nexus say, "You're either Nexus or against us". Cena right now is saying "If you can't beat 'em,..." Cena walks off.
Match 2 : Eve vs Maryse (w/ Ted Dibiase)
Maryse, once again, is lookin' damn fine. Maryse has a ring and gives it to the ref to hold on to. Dibiase is on commentary. Maryse is taunting Eve. She pie faces Maryse, and Maryse is on the attack. Choking in the ropes by Maryse, and she follows with a running knee. Forearms by Maryse. Elbow in the corner by Eve and she hits Maryse with a gamengiri. Pow right in the kisser. Pin but Maryse got her foot on the rope, yet the ref still counted three.
Winner : Eve (Not even the hottness of Maryse could give this more than one Vince head)
Dibiase is in the ring yelling at the ref. Morrison runs out and takes it to Ted. Morrison hits a knee. Starship Pain connects (I use the term "connects" loosely). MNM is def. coming soon!
-Sheamus is headed to the ring as we head to commercial.
We're back, and here comes the WWE Champion, Sheamus. Sheamus says that he has beaten Cena in a Tables match, a Fatal Four Way, and now a Steel Cage. When he beat Cena for the first time, everyone called it a fluke. The second time was luck. But the third time is dominance. But what now for John Cena. He goes to the back of the line and he won't be getting another championship match anytime soon. Sheamus went to the back to Wade Barrett and demanded a truce. He explained to him that one year ago, no one had heard of Sheamus or the Nexus. But like it or not, they are both now the two most powerful entities in the entire WWE. They don't have to like each other, but they'll stay out of their business. Wade Barrett agreed, and the truce is in affect. Nexus interference is the only way Orton can beat him, and now that Orton's gone, he doesn't stand a chance. He's soon going to become the longest reigning WWE Champion of all time. AWESOME!!!!!!
Here comes Mr. Money in the Bank. Miz congratulates Sheamus on getting rid of the Nexus problem, but he now has a Miz problem. Sheamus doesn't control the fate of the WWE Championship, Miz does. And why. Because he poses Money in the Bank. He can cash in anytime he wants for a WWE Championship match. So every time Sheamus is in the ring, Miz will be watching. Say Sheamus beats Orton at Summerslam, but Orton hits him with an RKO. Miz will be right there to cash in. Or maybe he'll be doing a backstage interview, talking like a tough guy fella, and then gets blindsided by Miz. But Miz will wait. For the moment that his entire career has been waiting to. To main event Wrestlemania. Or maybe he just cashes in tonight. Either way, you can call him the celebrity stalker, because Miz will be watching him, because he's the Miz, and he's... nothing. Sheamus says he's the WWE Champion. Cole's got an email. Should the Miz want to cash in MITB tonight, he suggests Miz takes a seat at ringside because Sheamus will be in action right now against this man. Evan Bourne!!!
Bourne's taking his good damn time backstage. Finally, here he comes. It doesn't look like he was ready though cuz he's taping up his wrists right now.
Match 3 : Evan Bourne vs WWE Champion Sheamus
Bourne ducks the Brogue Kick and hits Sheamus with kicks to the leg. Sheamus rolls to the outside and starts flipping out as we head to commercial.
We're back and Sheamus is on the outside. He rams Bourne into the ring before throwing him back in. Kicks by Bourne. Bourne counters a backdrop attempt but runs right into a clothesline. Pin but only two. Bourne gets worked down in the corner by the champ. Sheamus goes to the outside and wraps Bourne around the ringpost. NNNNEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! That's Sheamus' "I'm gonna kill you taunt". Sheamus worked down Bourne with clubbing blows before locking in a vicious looking crossface chickenwing. Bourne fights back with the kicks. Spinning scoop slam by Sheamus. And not the Randy Orton scoop slam. Crossface chickenwing reapplied by Sheamus. Bourne with a big kick to the leg to counter out. And another. Sheamus slaps Bourne. Huge kick to the head of Sheamus kills him. Bourne ducks a shot and hits the Liger kick. Spin kick. Bourne counters the Irish Curse with a roll up. Pin but only two. Bourne ducks another shot and hits the spin kick. Bourne goes up to the top. Miz is ready to get up. Sheamus rolls to the outside, but Bourne takes him out with a crossbody. Miz is standing now. Sheamus pushes Bourne into a camerman as he goes back into the ring. Bourne gets on the apron, and Sheamus nails him. Brogue Kick connects. Pin and it's over.
Winner : Sheamus (Solid stuff here. Nothing ground breaking, but it's what we've come to expect. Not that that's a bad thing)
Miz nails Sheamus with the briefcase. And again. The crowd's loving this. Miz is thinking about it. Miz goes for the Skull Crushing Finale, but Sheamus is fighting it off. He nails it on the briefcase. Holy shit. HE'S CASHING IN!!!! HERE WE FUCKING GO!!!
Match 4 : Miz vs Sheamus - WWE Championship
Miz is ready to pounce. The ref is waiting for Sheamus to get up. Wait, no. Here comes R-Truth. Miz takes the briefcase back and goes to nail Truth, but he ducks and takes it to Miz. Miz boots the arm of Truth and starts taking it to him. Miz runs off. Fuck I'm pissed. Sheamus is in the ring, starting to get up.
-Miz is in the back. Matthews says he must be furious. Miz says R-Truth just cost him the WWE Championship. He had Sheamus unconscious. It would have been poetic justice. Make no mistake about it, there will be other opportunities. He has an entire year. So whether it's tomorrow night or July 17, 2012, he will take his rightful place as WWE Champion, because he's the Miz, and he's AWESOME!
-Cole and Lawler bring us back to the 10th edition of Summerslam for the Summerslam Recall, as The Phenom went toe to toe with the Texas Rattlesnake.
-Sheamus is in the back with ice on his head. The Bella's and Gail are laughing to themselves. Sheamus yells at them, asking them if they think it's funny. Orton now shows up. He says it's too bad about what just happened. Sheamus carrying the belt makes him a target. Whether it's Sheamus or Miz, whoever is champion will be wearing a giant bulls eye. He's not going to hit that bulls eye with an arrow, a spear or a bullet. He's going to hit that bulls eye with an R...K...O.
-Cena is in the back as he gets ready to confront the Nexus later tonight. Lawler teases that he'll join the Nexus.
-Cole and Lawler hype Morrison being on the cover of Muscle and Fitness.
Match 4 : Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov vs Zack Ryder and William Regal
Ryder and Santino start thing off. Ryder works down the arm, locking in a hammderlock. Santino flips over and takes it to Ryder. Handspring attempt but Ryder trips him. I just facepalmed. Here comes Kozlov. Regal locks in a headlock, but Kozlov counters with a firemans carry. Here comes Santino. Regal with a big forearm to Santino. Shoulderblock by Regal connects. Pin but only two. Here comes Ryder. He hits Santino with...uh...something. Pin but only two. Chinlock by Ryder is applied. Ryder with a back heel trip. Missile dropkick misses. Santino pushes Ryder off him and here comes Kozlov. Headbutts by Kozlov and some ridiculous selling follow. Powerslam connects. Regal goes to come in but Kozlov cuts him off. Kozlov counters the Rough Rider with a front slam. Here comes Santino. Headbutt by Santino, and it's over.
Winners : Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov (They tried and failed)
-The Nexus is in the back, as Wade Barrett gets ready to face Mark Henry. And that match is next. Oh joy.
Match 5 : Wade Barrett vs Mark Henry
Remember, the Nexus is banned from ringside for this match. Barrett goes for a right hand, but Henry blocks it and hits a headbutt. Barrett rolls to the outside. Barrett takes his time before getting back in. Tie up, and Barrett hits Henry with a knee to the gut. Heabutts by Barrett, and Henry's no selling. Huge fight hand by Henry. Clothesline by Henry. Pin but only one. Heabutt by Henry. And a headbutt by Barrett. Knees to the gut and kicks to the leg by Barrett. Barrett runs off the ropes but gets hit with a scoop slam. The Randy Orton kind of scoop slam. Henry drags Barrett to the corner and goes to the second rope. The NExus shows up on the ramp and Barrett takes control. No fucking way. Barrett lifts Henry on his fucking shoulder. Wasteland by Barrett just barely, and I mean barely, connects.
Winner : Wade Barrett (Besides Barrett's impressive showing of strength, there really wasn't much to this match)
The Nexus comes down to the ring. Barrett grabs a mic. He says if Cena wants a meeting with them, here they are. We get a replay of Barrett barely hitting Henry with the Wasteland. Nexus' music plays as we see Cena walking in the back. He's going to be coming out after this next commercial break.
It's main event/segment time...
- Back from commercial and Nexus are in the ring waiting. We go to replays again of Barrett defeating Mark Henry. Michael Tarver takes the mic and says they already made one truce tonight but they give Cena their word that they will at least hear him out. Tarver says Cena needs to acknowledge that Nexus runs RAW. And if he doesn't, they will make the rest of his little career hell. Tarver tells Cena to come out and show remorse for attacking their members lately. Tarver says if Cena does that, they might consider ending it. Tarver says this is all on Cena. Cena's music hits and out he comes.
Cena enters the ring and thanks Nexus for meeting him tonight. Cena says he's had two WWE Title matches since Nexus has arrived. They caused him to lose the WWE Title and then stopped him from winning it back. Cena says Sheamus made a truce with Nexus tonight and he should have done the same a long time ago. Cena says he's sorry. Cena says he's looking at them all man-to-man and asking for the same thing. Barrett says their answer is no.
Barrett says he isn't interested in a truce or peace with Cena. He's looking for something much bigger. The crowd starts chanting for Cena. Cena puts his head down. Barrett says he wants Cena to join them. Barrett tries to convince Cena to join. Barrett says Nexus is the present and future of WWE. Barrett says together, they could be unstoppable. Barrett says this really isn't much of a choice... because "you're either Nexus or against us." Barrett tells Cena to join them and make history together. Cena says no, he can't join them. Barrett says now they have a different proposition. Cena can leave the ring with his tail between his legs like the coward that he is, or he can stay in the ring and they will give him the most vicious beating they have ever gave. Cena holds his head low and backs out of the ring and walks up to the stage. Cena says he just wants to say one more thing. Whether he does it himself or if he has help, he will take out each member of Nexus. Cena says his truce tonight was just a test. Cena says Nexus sealed their fate. Initial plans for TNA Hard Justice called for the event to be headlined by a TNA vs. "ECW" bout. Officials have since decided to make the event an "all-ECW" show similar to WWE's One Night Stand in 2005.
Wrestlers from the original ECW are being contacted and major TNA stars such as AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and Ric Flair are not currently not scheduled to appear on the show.
TNA Hard Justice is largely being put together by Tommy Dreamer, who has been contacting numerous former ECW talents alongside Terry Taylor.
As noted earlier, the current planned name for the ECW faction in TNA is 'The Riot Makers'. Of course, that can always change.

There has been some interest in TNA's part on John "Bradshaw" Layfield. The former WWE Champion has met with Dixie Carter in the past and the two get along. Carter has wanted to bring him in since his retirement last year, so much so that she offered to help co-produce the mixed martial arts promotion he briefly ran.
However, those close to Layfield don't expect him to join TNA. In fact, he declined an offer from the organization back in January when they were loading up on talent for the move to Monday nights.

From reader Patrick R of PWInsider:
Dark Match before it went on air Santino pinned William Regal with the Cobra.
Some notes from the match: All I can say is bad, it was more of a comedic thing than a wrestling match. Although Santino did do some pretty good comedy with his behavior it was a bad way to get fans riled up for some wrestling. Especially considering both wrestlers can work with serious behavior.
After the Pay Per View Ended, Nexus went back to the ring and Wade Barrett picked up the microphone he started talking about how pathetic this night was with the results. He then talked about how this business needs a new world champion soon. He suggested it be someone from the nexus, Wade smirked as he said you should see Monday Night Raw tomorrow. I believe it was something like this, as I don't have that strong of a memory remembering word for word.
Biggest Crowd Pops Randy Orton Rey Mysterio John Cena
Biggest Crowd Heat Jack Swagger Sheamus The Miz
Thanks to reader Nic Flair for sending these results in…
* House was probably 80% full minus the area that gets curtained off. TV side was totally packed and only a few empty seats on the non-TV side. One of the bigger crowds I've seen at the Sprint Center.
* Santino defeated Regal with the Cobra in a pure comedy dark match opener. I won't hate on this because the crowd was insane for Santino and it really got everyone fired up.
* A few notable Daniel Bryan chants during both Divas matches. Not sure if those made it to TV.
* 2nd biggest pop of the night was Kane cashing in. People went nuts.
* Hate on Cena all you want, but the man is $$. Certain people were getting excited for certain wrestlers, but the roof damn near came off the place for Cena's entrance (pop of the night, and #2 was waaaay behind).
* Hot crowd tonight, hope we came off well on TV. Lots of dueling Cena and Sheamus chants during the main event.
* After the feed ended, Wade Barrett came out with the other members of NXT. They stood over Gabriel (who I really thought was dead after that bump). Wade grabbed a mic and told everyone in attendance that he was sickened and disgusted by what he'd just seen and that tomorrow 'there would be payback'

Report: Either HHH or John Cena To Turn Heel?
Posted on 07.19.10 by Jason Stone | WWE News |
WWE is toying with the idea of turning a top Superstar heel and have them be the person behind The Nexus angle. Current creative plans call for the top WWE star to be revealed in the fairly near future. The main people being pitched for a heel turn are Triple H and believe it or not, John Cena.
Cena turning heel would be a risk because of his popularity with kids and everything else, including merchandise. It also appears unlikely after Money in the Bank that he is turning heel. It's almost confirmed now but never say never.
Triple H has wanted to turn heel for a few years now but with injuries to him and his co-workers, they haven't had the right time to turn him. This appears fairly likely but nothing is confirmed. WWE doesn't have long-term Nexus storylines in place yet. They are going on a week to week basis these days.

“Yes, sir, we promised you a great main event…”
WWE Money In The Bank Opener:
The pyro hits and Michael Cole welcomes us to the PPV. There are ladders set up everywhere and it looks like we're going to kick things off with a Money in the Bank match. Cole is joined tonight by Lawler and Striker. Apparently the first MITB match will be Smackdown's.
Smackdown's Money in the Bank Ladder Match Big Show vs. Matt Hardy vs. Christian vs. Kofi Kingston vs. "Dashing" Cody Rhodes vs. Kane vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Dolph Ziggler
The amount of ladders around ringside is pretty ridiculous, and we get a good look at them as Kofi Kingston's music hits, and the Intercontinental Champion makes his way down to the ring to a big pop.
The participants continue to come to the ring as 'Dashing' Cody Rhodes is the next man to the ring. I don't know if I need to say this, but you'll have to bear with me during results of the MITB matches, due to the number of participants, they'll be extremely difficult to write about. Matt Hardy is the fifth entrant to the ring, and he too gets a pretty decent reaction from the crowd. Hardy climbs some of the ladders on the stage before making his way down to the ring. Drew McIntyre is out next and he gets a little bit of heat from the crowd.
Kane's pyro hits, and the monster is out to the ring. The Big Show is the last man out to the ring, and we're finally ready to kick things off as every man is out to the ring.
The bell rings and it's just absolute chaos. Everyone teams up to take on Kane and the Big Show, and Cody Rhodes looks to take advantage early. Kane and Show fight off the other men, and take Cody down off the ladder. Show and Kane square off and Show gets the upper hand with a huge shoulder block. Show look at the ladder, and tries to climb, but the rung immediately breaks. Show breaks off another rung with his hand before fighting off Christian, Kofi, Drew, Hardy and Ziggler before just picking up a ladder and tossing it out of the ring on top of Kane.
Show goes to the outside and everyone except Kane dogpiles on top of him, taking him down to the ground. Everyone then turns on each other, and McIntyre is the last man standing. He sets a ladder up against the ring apron and slingshots Christian into the ladder face first before putting it into the ring. Drew sets up the ladder under the belt and begins the climb, but Hardy stops him by picking up a ladder and throwing it against McIntyre's back. Hardy goes for the briefcase, but he's stopped by Christian. Christian goes for it, but he's stopped by Hardy.
Christian and Hardy fight to the outside, and Rhodes tries to sneak in for a quick victory, but he's stopped by Kingston, who's in turn stopped by Ziggler. Ziggler climbs the ladder and gets his hands on the briefcase but Christian climbs the other side and stops him. Christian and Ziggler trade blows on top of the ladder and both have hands on the briefcase. Christian hip tosses Ziggler off the ladder, but the ladder is pushed over by Hardy. Rhodes comes in and eats a Killswitch from Christian. Kane is in and almost hits a double chokeslam on Hardy and Christian, but he eats a double DDT instead. Christian and Hardy pick up ladders and sandwich Kane in between them before clashing. Hardy tries for the twist of fate, but Christian flops him onto the ladder instead and stands on Hardy's back.
Christian tries to go up the ladder again, but Rhodes pushes it and Christian sails out of the ring on top of Big Show. Kofi and Hardy team up on Kane and Hardy nails a twist of fate to put him down. Kofi tries to climb a really short ladder, but Rhodes is there to take him off of it with a back body drop. Rhodes and Hardy fight at the top of the ladder, but McIntyre tips the ladder over the the two men sail into the ropes. McIntyre throws both Rhodes and Hardy into opposite ring posts before trying to go up the ladder himself. He's stopped by Ziggler, but Drew immediately tosses Dolph from the ring. Kane pulls McIntyre from the ring and begins dismantling the announce table.
Kane grabs McIntyre around the throat, but McIntyre fights it off. Kane puts him right back down, and then takes Christian down with a right hand. Kane grabs a ladder, but Kofi hits a sliding dropkick to send the ladder into Kane's face. Kofi goes to the outside where he begins wailing on McIntyre before hitting a huge kick to the back of the head. McIntyre is laid out on the Spanish announce table, and Kofi looks up at another ladder. Kofi begins to climb the ladder on the outside, standing for a bit at the top before hitting a giant boom drop through the table and McIntyre.
Ziggler is alone in the ring climbing a ladder and he gets his hands on the briefcase, but Show pushes over the ladder, grabs Ziggler in mid air, and takes him down with a chokeslam. Kane tries for a chokeslam, but Show fights it off. Show sandwiches Kane in the corner with a ladder, before splashing the ladder into Kane. Hardy and Christian and in and they try to use the ladder as a team to fight off Show, but Show pushes them down and splashes both men with the ladder on top of them.
Show goes back to the outside, and he grabs a gigantic reinforced ladder. Show struggles, and it doesn't look like he's going to be able to get it into the ring. He eventually figures it out, but he looks beat as he stands it up and tries to position it. He's finally able to after much huffing and puffing, and me openly laughing. Show steps on the first rung and Rhodes is in hitting Show in the ankle with another ladder. Rhodes begins the climb up the ginormous ladder, but he's taken down by Ziggler in an electric chair drop.
Ziggler tries to pull himself up the huge ladder, which doesn't seem to be moving any time soon. Ziggler gets up a couple of rungs, but Show gets up and hits him with a big chop that takes him down. Show grabs his ankle, fights off Hardy, and looks at the ladder. Kofi's in out of nowhere and he springboards onto the ladder. Show tries to stop him, but Kofi counters with a tornado DDT. Kingston begins the climb again, but Cody Rhodes is there to stop him with a missile dropkick that knocks Kofi from the ladder.
Rhodes hits a cross Rhodes to Kingston on the ladder and knocks his own head. Rhodes begins the climb up the ladder and Ziggler stops him, giving him a Zig Zag that sends him right into the reinforced ladder, which doesn't even move. Show is back up to his feet and he fights off Rhodes and Ziggler before hobbling around for a little bit. Show looks up at the briefcase, and he tries to climb. Show gets up a couple of rungs, and Kane is in there. Kane tips over the ladder and Show ends up in the ropes and falling out to the outside. Christian, Kofi and Rhodes pile a ton of ladders on top of Show and they completely bury him under ladders. Kane sets up the ladder and everyone tries to climb at once, it's complete chaos. Kane starts chokeslamming everyone and Rhodes has his hands on the briefcase. Kane pulls Rhodes off and climbs the ladder himself. Ziggler stops Kane, climbing right over him. Kane tries to fight off Dolph, but Ziggler locks in the sleeper. Kane fights it off by ramming Ziggler's head into the ladder.
Kane sends Ziggler to the outside, hanging his knee up dangerously in the ropes first, and on top of Show's heap of chairs. Kane makes his way to the outside where he chokeslams Kofi on top of the ladder pile, and then he chases Rhodes up the entrance ramp. Kane picks up Rhodes and slams him face first into one of the armored trucks at near the ramp. Hardy is climbing up the ladder when Kane returns, and Kane simply swats he and Christian away. They come back with a double powerbomb, taking Kane right off the ladder. Christian and Hardy climb up either side of the ladder, and they trade blows. Both men get hands on the briefcase. Hardy fights off Christian, but Christian comes right back. Both men are holding the briefcase and hitting each other, standing at the top of the ladder. Both men push and fall from the top of the ladder, hitting the ropes.
Drew McIntyre is up and stirring, and he begins the climb up the ladder to a ton of heat. Kane is in to a lot of cheers, and McIntyre gets his hands on the briefcase, but Kane tosses him off of the ladder with a chokeslam. Kane grabs the briefcase, and takes it off the hook, winning the match.
Winner of the MITB contract: Kane
Backstage:
Sheamus is backstage with Josh Matthews. Sheamus says he's a man of pride, but he's not stupid. He says he watched the NXT 7 and smiled at their random attacks on the locker room, but because of his pride, he believed he was untouchable, until last Monday night. He said staring into the eyes of the Nexus, he saw they were soulless. He says he had to choose a side, so on Monday he did. He says he doesn't have any respect for Cena, he wanted to send a message to the Nexus, and make sure that Cena won't be able to say anything after tonight. Sheamus says he's never gotten the accolades he deserves, he hates Cena. He says all Cena wants to do is make fun of Sheamus' skin and accent, but he doesn't care. Sheamus says in the cage tonight, he'll give him a beating worse than the one he suffered at the hands of the Nexus. He says they're a threat, but tonight Cena will find out he's an even bigger one.
WWE Divas Championship Alicia Fox (c) vs. Eve
Both women lock up and Fox pushes Eve back into the corner before taking her down to the mat. Fox keeps control of the collar and elbow tie up, bringing Eve back up to her feet, but Fox is taken off her feet by Eve, who quickly goes for a side head lock. Eve goes for a series of covers, that are good for two counts, before hitting a single leg dropkick that staggers Fox. Eve tries for a tornado DDT, but Fox fights out of it and sweeps her legs off the turnbuckles, sending Eve to the mat. Both women go to the outside where For slams Eve back first into the apron. Fox pulls Eve back into the ring by her hair and tries for a quick cover but she only gets two.
Fox continues to pound on Eve before just bending her across her knee, hitting a backbreaker and continuing to try and bend Eve in half. Eve is eventually able to fight out of it with a couple of high kicks, but after a quick flurry, she eats another backbreaker from Fox that's good for another near fall. Fox continues to work over Eve's back with another submission, but Eve is able to fight out of it with a monkey flip. Eve fights off Fox, and hits a cross body block and two dropkicks, but a suplex is too much for her. Eve decides instead to kick Fox across the chest and hit a standing moonsault that's good for two. Eve continues to use her feet with a big kick, but an attempted front flip senton does not go well as Fox gets her knees up. Fox hits the axe kick and pins Eve, retaining her title.

Unified Tag Team Championship The Hart Dynasty w/Natalya (c) vs. The Usos w/Tamina
Smith and Jay start things off for their respective things and Smith takes Jay right down. Jay tries to catch Smith, but Smith counters with a powerslam that's good for a two count. Kidd makes the blind tag, and Smith hip tosses Kidd into Jay, where he hits a nice hurricarana that's good for a near fall. The hard't make quick tags as Smith is back in, but he's taken off of his feet by Jay. Jay tags in Jimmy, who comes in and pounds on Smith in the corner with rapid fire right hands. Jimmy tries for the pin, gets two, and stomps away at Smith, trying again and getting another near fall. Jay tags in, and the Uso's hit a nasty double team move, snapping Smith's neck back. Smith is able to fight Jay off, but he's not able to get to his corner before Jimmy comes back in and prevents it.
Jimmy is a house of fire, but Smith comes back with a back body drop, and he's able to tag in Kidd. Kidd comes in and goes right to work on Jay, hitting him with a dropkick to the head and a series of kicks to the chest in the corner. Kidd hits a surprise roll up, but Jimmy makes a blind tag and a double team from Jimmy and Jay leads to a near fall for the Uso's. Jimmy climbs the turnbuckle, and tries for the Snuka splash, but Kidd gets his knees up to prevent it. Kidd is able to make the tag to Smith, who comes in with a giant shoulder block to take Jay off his feet. Smith goes for the sharpshooter, but he's distracted by Tamina. Nataly comes over and body slams Tamina. Smith locks in the sharpshooter, and Kidd dives to the outside taking out the other Uso. Whichever Uso is in the sharpshooter taps.

- We get a video package that highlights the events leading up to the World Heavyweight Championship match, namely Mysterio winning the title last month at Fatal Four Way from Swagger, and Swagger not being too happy about it.
World Heavyweight Championship Rey Mysterio (c) vs. Jack Swagger
Jack Swagger is the first man out to the ring, and he makes his way out to a bit of heat, not looking too happy. It seems like the crowd is a little dead from the last two matches. Rey Mysterio's music hits along with some pyro, and he comes out to a huge pop, thankfully bringing this crowd somewhat back to life. Striker plays up Mysterio's ankle injury, and they've been playing up Swagger's 'devastating' ankle lock submission. After formal ring introductions we're ready to start this one.
Swagger tries to go right for Mysterio's legs but Mysterio is able to stay away. They lockup, and Swagger picks Mysterio up and slams him back into the corner. Swagger breaks and Mysterio shoves him. Mysterio is able to kick away at Swagger, but Swagger comes up with Mysterio's leg out of nowhere and he tries for the ankle lock. Mysterio is able to fight it off and we get a 619 tease. Mysterio tries for an asai moonsault, but Swagger catches him and hangs him up in the tree of woe. Swagger tries to spear Mysterio, but Myserio sits up and Swagger connects with the turnbuckle. Swagger rolls to the outside and Mysterio jumps out on top of Swagger.
Back in the ring, Mysterio goes up again but Swagger is able to hit a huge belly to belly suplex from the top. Swagger stomps away at Mysterio's ankle. Mysterio rolls to the outside and Swagger is quick to follow. Swagger slams Mysterio's head into the announce table before simply standing on top of Mysterio's ankle. Swagger rolls Mysterio back into the ring and tries for the cover but he only gets two. Swagger locks in a modified knee bar, pretty much just picking Mysterio up by the knee and wrenching, but Mysterio fights out of it with a couple of well places kicks. Mysterio tries something, it's hard to tell because Swagger bothces what looks to be a powerslam and gets a near fall. Swagger retaliates by tossing Mysterio across the ring. An attempted Vadeo bomb, and Mysterio moves, and connects with a kick to Swagger's head.
Mysterio goes to the top and hits a big seated senton before fighting Swagger off in the corner. Mysterio sends Swagger head first into the corner turnbuckle, and connects with a split legged moonsault. Swagger is able to retaliate with a big wheelbarrow suplex. Swagger charges Mysterio but eats a boot, he's quick to respond with a gut wrench powerbomb, but he's too close to the ropes and Mysterio is able to stop a pinfall attempt. Swagger continues to try and get to Mysterio's ankle, and Mysterio continues to fall it off, hitting a hurricarana that sends Swagger head first into the ring post. Mysterio climbs the turnbuckle, but Swagger is quick to stop him. Swagger sits on the top turnbuckle and shoulders Mysterio, but when he tries to toss him off, Mysterio counters with a huge DDT, he follows up with a pin, but he only gets two.
Mysterio gets Swagger in position and hits the 619, but when he goes for the seated senton, Swagger is able to lock in the ankle lock. Mysterio gets to the ropes, but Swagger takes full advantage of the 5 count. Swagger hits a pair of Vader bombs, and looks down at Mysterio for a while before stomping and standing on Mysterio's ankle. Mysterio loosens his boot, and in a nod to Eddie, his boot comes off in the ankle lock. Mysterio rolls up Swagger and gets the quick three count.
Winner and STILL World Heavyweight Champion: Rey Mysterio

Kane grabs Mysterio around the throat, and picks him up and chokeslams him down to the mat. Kane picks Mysterio up again and puts him down with a big tombstone. Kane covers Mysterio, and this one is over. YES!!!

Edge is watching a monitor backstage. Jericho comes up behind him and Edge turns around. Jericho calls Edge a desperate man. Edge says he is, because he's won the MITB match twice, and he says that Kane won't be the only man cashing in his briefcase tonight. Jericho says he's the man who created this match, and tonight he'll be the one to cash in his briefcase after Cena/Sheamus. Edge says that's big talk for someone who's never won a MITB match. Jericho says that makes him more desperate, and that tonight, the worst is yet to come.
WWE Women's Championship Layla (c) vs. Kelly Kelly
As Kelly makes her way down to the ring, we get a recap of the events that led up to this match, including Kelly being attacked by Michelle McCool and Layla backstage on Smackdown 2 weeks ago. Layla is out next with McCool in tow.
Layla and Kelly lock up and Layla pushes her back into the corner. She breaks clean, but shoves Kelly, so Kelly comes back with a Thesz press. Kelly connects with the K2, and it looks like McCool tries to put Layla's foot on the ropes but Layla does it herself. Kelly tries for a roll up, but Layla sits down and pins Kelly instead. She gets the three, and this terrible match is over.
Winner and STILL WWE Women's Champion: Layla
- We get a recap of Smackdown's MITB ladder match earlier in the night, as well as the resulting match between Kane and Mysterio that led to Kane cashing in the briefcase and winning the title.
Raw's Money in the Bank Ladder Match Ted DiBiase vs. Chris Jericho vs. Edge vs. The Miz vs. Evan Bourne vs. John Morrison vs. Randy Orton vs. Mark Henry
Randy Orton's music hits, and 'The Viper' makes his way out to the ring to a big pop from the crowd. The Miz is the next man out to the ring, and he gets a bit of heat, but it tapers off pretty quickly. Mark Henry is the third man, and honestly I'm a bit surprised at the nice pop that he gets when his music hits. Entrant number five is Ted Dibiase, who comes to the ring with Maryse and gets a bit of heat. These entrances seem to be going by quicker than Smackdown's. John Morrison is out next and he gets a very nice pop from the crowd. I haven't mentioned yet, but once again there's a ridiculous amount of ladders around the ring and entrance ramp. Chris Jericho is out next and he actually gets a bit of a mixed reaction from the crowd. Evan Bourne is out next to a nice pop from the crowd. It's great to see this young guy in a main event match and getting a nice reaction from the crowd. Edge is the final man out to the ring, and it looks like we're ready to kick things off.
Edge slides a ladder into the ring, but as soon as the bell rings he bails. A couple of people go for the ladder, but everyone turns to Mark Henry instead. Henry fights them off, and things pretty much just break down into a brawl. Miz hits his clothesline in the corner on Henry and Bourne follows it up with a dropkick in the corner. Edge is the first man to go for the briefcase, but Orton is there to stop him, pulling him from the ladder and sending him to the outside where he follows and pounds on him. Back in the ring, Morrison ducks a ladder shot from Dibiase and hits a kick to the back, but Dibiase responds with a clothesline that puts Morrison down on the ladder. Dibiase hits Orton with a ladder, but eats a dropkick that sends a ladder into his chest, from Bourne. Miz sends Bourne from the ring, and he and Jericho square off, with Jericho getting the better of Miz.
Jericho and Miz continues to fight, right up until Mark Henry throws a ladder into both mens faces. Miz ends up in 619 position, and Henry jumps on Miz's head and out to the floor, hanging Miz on the rope. Jericho smashes Henry with the ladder, then goes into the ring where Bourne is trying to climb up a ladder. Bourne senses Jericho and dropkicks him. Bourne climbs the ladder and Edge tries to stop him, so Bourne responds with a hurricarana that sends Edge to the outside. Orton comes into the ring where he pulls Bourne through the rungs of the ladder and hits his signature DDT. Morrison is in out of nowhere and hits a huge kick to Orton's head. Morrison tries to suplex Dibiase onto a ladder, but Miz comes in to break it up and both men pound on Morrison for a bit.
A ladder is set up in the corner, and Miz charges Morrison, finding himself flapjacked face first into the ladder. Dibiase charges, and eats a drop toe hold, also into the ladder. Morrison sets up the ladder and climbs, getting to the top. Edge is quick to climb the other side and he and Morrison slug it out. Jericho sets up another ladder, and Orton climbs up on the other side. All four men reach for the briefcase, and Mark Henry comes out of nowhere, in between both ladders, and pushes them both over, sending them to the outside. Bourne is there and he springboards into Mark Henry, hitting a double knees to the chest. Maryse is shown checking on Dibiase, and she looks to the ladders. She climbs into the ring and takes off her heels.
Maryse sets up the ladder and she begins the climb. She gets all the way to the top, but Morrison is there. He tries to help her down, but she doesn't want to come down. Morrison pulls her down and sets her on her feet and Dibiase tries to sneak up the ladder. Morrison stops him, but Dibiase slams him headfirst into another ladder. Dibiase grabs a ladder and tries to splash Morrison in the corner, but Morrison moves and Dibiase slams into the corner. On the outside Miz concentracts on Morrison, setting a ladder up against the ring pose, and body slamming Morrison into the barricade before slingshotting Morrison onto the ladder. Morrison climbs the ladder into the ring and uses another ladder to get to yet another ladder, which Edge is on, and Morrison comes close to grabbing the briefcase. Edge grabs Morrison's legs and pulls him through the ladder, where he and Miz put another ladder, and slam it up and down into Morrison's midsection before Edge simply pushes the ladder over. Morrison falls to the outside.
Dibiase is in the ring and he uses a ladder to smash Edge's midsection. Dibiase goes for another ladder, and he and Jericho tangle over it. Dibiase fights off Jericho, and also hits Orton with the ladder. Dibiase is able to fight off Edge, and he goes up the ladder, but Henry is able to stop him. Dibiase tries to hit a cross body from the ladder, but Henry catches him and hits a world's strongest slam. Jericho charges Henry and eats a ladder to the face. The ladder lands on Jericho and Henry slams Miz on top of both. Henry tries to climb the ladder and Bourne climbs on his back. Orton and Edge pull Henry off, but Bourne is still there with his hands on his briefcase. Orton and Edge pull Bourne off and throw him to the outside where Henry catches him and delivers another World's strongest slam. Henry eats a code breaker and a spear on the outside.
Miz, Morrison, Jericho and Orton try to climb some weird amalgamation of ladders that looks really unsafe. Dibiase puts another ladder in there somewhere and pulls off Miz, who slams face first into the ladder. Everyone's had their hands on the briefcase. Dibiase is pulled down on top of the 'scaffolded' ladder, and he's pushed to the outside by Orton and Edge. Orton strikes with the RKO on Edge out of nowhere. Morrison and Jericho are fighting on top of the ladder and Jericho is very close. Morrison is able to take Jericho down by punching Jericho's hand. Orton pulls Morrison down and hits an RKO then immediately eats a shooting star press from Bourne. Bourne begins the climb up the ladder and Jericho is still hung up in the ladder. Bourne is so close, but Jericho is able to get upright. Bourne fights him off for a bit, but Jericho comes right back and uses the briefcase to smash Bourne in the head and send him off the ladder.
Jericho is up on the ladder but the briefcase is swinging wildly. Edge is up on the other side and both men slug it out. Jericho reaches and gets his hands on the briefcase but Edge is still there. Jericho falls from the ladder and Orton connects with the RKO while he's on the way down. Orton pushes Edge off the ladder and he falls into an open, upside down ladder in what looks to be an incredibly painful fall. Orton climbs the ladder, and grabs the briefcase, but Miz is there out of nowhere and he pushes Orton off and into the ropes. Miz climbs and gets his hands on the briefcase, pulling it down.
Winner of the MITB contract: The Miz
After the match, Miz embraces the briefcase and holds it up. Miz looks genuinely emotional. Miz goes over and asks for a microphone. Miz says that everyone is living in his moment. He says however you call it, him winning the MITB contract means he made it. He says he made believers out of all the cynics and critics and skeptics. He says take a good hard look at the man with the briefcase. He says he is Mr. Money in the Bank. He is a future WWE Champion. Because he's the Miz, and he's awesome.
WWE Championship Steel Cage Match Sheamus (c) vs. John Cena
We get a video package that details the history over the past month between these two men, including both of their clashes with the Nexus.
The steel cage is already down when we come back from the promo, and we get a quick run down of the rules from Justin Roberts before Cena's music hits, and WWE's Superman runs down to the ring to a big pop. Sheamus is out next to a pretty decent amount of heat, and Cole hypes the fact that Sheamus is the 100th WWE Champion.
After formal ring introductions, the title does indeed go out of the ring before the door is truly 'locked'. The bell rings, and we're ready to kick this one off. Cena and Sheamus circle each other before locking up. Sheamus kicks Cena in the gut and tries to send him head first into the cage, but Cena fights it off. Another lock up, and Sheamus puts Cena right down to the mat with a couple of big clubbing blows. Sheamus puts Cena into the corner and buries his shoulder into Cena's midsection. Sheamus picks Cena back up and punches him, but Cena is quick to respond with a big clothesline. Sheamus fights back, and he's able to toss Cena head first into the cage the second time he tries, scoring a near fall because of it.
Sheamus continues to work over Cena, but Cena catches a second wind out of nowhere and beats on Sheamus with lefts and rights. Sheamus is able to fight Cena off and get back to his feet where he hits a running knee to the side of Cena's head. Cena rolls in between the ropes and the cage, and when he gets up, Sheamus punches him and grates his forehead against the cage wall just a bit. Sheamus hits a bottom rope knee drop, but when he picks Cena up, Cena connects with a quick suplex out of nowhere that's good for a near fall. Sheamus and Cena are both up and trading blows in the middle of the ring and Cena gets the advantage with a big shoulder block, but a second attempt, and Sheamus ducks and Cena sails into the cage wall.
Sheamus picks Cena up and hits a reverse DDT, planting Cena on his knee. Cena tries for a cover, but when he only gets two, he tries to climb the cage wall. Cena stops him, and climbs up himself and soon both men are standing on the top rope. Cena and Sheamus slug it out and Sheamus makes his way to the corner. Cena tries for, and connects with a big superplex, and he tries for another cover but it's only good for two.
Cena tries for the AA, but Sheamus fights it off with a DDT counter that's good for a near fall. Both men get back to their feet where Sheamus hits a big Polish hammer to Cena's face, good for another two count. A second yields another two count. A third attempt and Cena ducks it, but Sheamus is able to lock in a sleeper hold out of nowhere. Sheamus takes Cena down to the mat, but Cena is able to fight up to his feet in no time. Sheamus jumps up piggy back style and brings Cena down to the mat where he keeps the sleeper locked in. Cena is able to roll over to his knees and make it up to his feet to the disbelief of Sheamus. Cena gets to the ropes, but it doesn't force a break. Cena begins to climb the turnbuckles with Sheamus on his back. Cena gets to the top, where Sheamus drops down to the canvas and hits Cena's ankle, crotching him on the top rope and allowing him another near fall.
Sheamus continues to work over Cena, choking him with his boot. Sheamus climbs the ropes and the side of the cage, but Cena grabs his foot and pulls him down to prevent it, Sheamus smashing his face into the top rope. Cena ducks a clothesline from Sheamus and hits a couple of shoulder blocks before following up with a belly to back suplex, and the five knuckle shuffle. Sheamus pops up and Cena tries for the AA, but Sheamus grabs the side of the cage and is actually able to climb up almost to the top of the cage before Cena stops him. Cena and Sheamus fight on the top rope again and Cena slams him face first into the top of the cage. Cena pauses and stands on the top turnbuckle. Cena tries for a top rope five knuckle shuffle, but Sheamus rolls out of the way.
Sheamuse pounds on Cena before attempting to tie him up in the ropes. Cena tries to fight it off, but Sheamus is able to tie Cena up. Sheamus taunts Cena and uses the opportunity to pound on him a little bit, punching and kicking at Cena before using him as a stepping stool to help him climb the side of the cage. Cena powers out as soon as Sheamus is up over top of him, and he stops Sheamus with the two battling on the top rope again. This time Cena takes Sheamus off with a top rope bulldog that's good for a two count.
Cena gets back up to his feet where he tries for the AA but Sheamus is able to battle out again. Sheamus connects with the urunage backbreaker that he stole from Roderick Strong and calls the Irish Curse. Sheamus is slow to get back to his feet, and so is Cena. Sheamus hits his big bicycle kick and he goes for the cover, but Cena is able to kick out at two.
Sheamus looks to escapse for a minute, but then thinks better of it. Sheamus picks Cena up, but Cena hits the AA out of nowhere. Cena pins Sheamus, but Sheamus kicks out at two!
The Nexus make their way out to the ring, and Tarver has bolt cutters, which are quickly taken by the outside official who quickly runs to the back. The Nexus corner the other outside official and demand the key. The official gets it out, but he throws it into the crowd. In the ring, Cena tries for another AA, but Sheamus fights it off. Sheamus is pushed into the official who's sandwiched into the cage, and Cena locks in the STF. Sheamus taps but no one sees it, how ironic for Cena. Cena begins to climb to the outside, and the Nexus heads for him. Justin Gabriel climbs to the top of the cage and fights with Cena, but he's pushed off. Cena is held up by the Nexus, and Sheamus is able to make it out and to the floor first, hitting the arena floor and bailing out through the crowd. The ending of that match was really, really confusing.
Winner and STILL WWE Champion: Sheamus
After the match, John Cena attacks the NXT guys that are down. Cna uses the ring steps and screams "I TOLD YA I'D TAKE EVERYONE ONE OF YA OUT". Cena walks off as several of the Nexus members lay.

There is talk that Hulk Hogan may never wrestle again as a result of his latest back operation. His originally scheduled matches with Abyss and Sting have been nixed. Although he probably shouldn't have done the matches prior to the surgery anyhow.
It's worth noting that Hogan was advertised on the official TNA website for Monday's iMPACT!, but ultimately, did not appear. He was however mentioned in a promo by Kevin Nash.

Eric Bischoff has a new blog entry up at EricBischoff.com, here are the highlights…
On Missing Impact: Also, as I have posted on my Facebook page, really want to thank Vince Russo, Matt Conway and the team at TNA for picking up my slack and allowing me to spend some time with family and friends over an extended 4th of July break. The 4th is a special holiday for us as it is not only our favorite national holiday, but it's also my wife's birthday, (and now our new anniversary) as well as the anniversary of my fathers passing 10 years ago. My friends and family from around the country have started coming out to our place in Cody as a sort of unofficial "friends and family reunion and it has become a big part of our lives over the last 10 years.
On Impact's Future: I am excited about the direction of iMPACT over the last couple of months. Re-tooling the format, adding the docu-style backstage elements, better focus on story and key talent matchups have really given the show a sense of urgency and more drama. The team has laid out a pretty compelling long range arc that should take us through the summer and into the fall with some great TV.
On Batista To MMA: Not so sure about Bastista's move into MMA. Unless he has some amateur wrestling or legitimate kick-boxing background that I am unaware of, sounds like a quick payday, but not so much of a long term plan. It takes years to develop solid wrestling skill as well as punching/kicking technique. At 40 years of age, it's a hell of a lot of catching up to do when you are in there with fighters half your age who have been on a mat or in a dojo all their lives. That said…like Dave a lot and wish him the best.
On Hulk Hogan: Just hung up with Hulk. His recent back surgery seems to have gone well and for the first time since I've known him, it sounds like he is taking his doctors advice and giving himself some down time to heal properly. I get on him like his mother sometimes, as every time he previously had a back surgery, the first thing he would do the minute he was feeling better was go down to the gym and see if the surgery worked by pushing weights around. His spirits are way up, he's feeling great and looking forward to whats coming up.

It should be noted that many within TNA think otherwise. Previous reports state that Bischoff and Hogan are not happy with news that TNA is trying to bring in Paul Heyman, and the duo may be distancing themselves from the company if they do bring in the former ECW owner.

-- Michael McGroto sent this one in: Just wanted to pass along the word about the Smackdown taping last night in Louisville that my "Michelle McTaker" sign had been confiscated by the WWE during the Layla/Baretta vs. Masters/Kelly Kelly match despite being held up several times throughout the night. Many of the superstars that were in the ring waiting for their match to begin or were on stage for NXT noticed my sign and either laughed or shrugged their shoulders nervously. Just shows the power of the WWE to hide relationships and the amount of power the Undertaker has backstage with the rest of the guys.

Although Tommy Dreamer has told co-workers that he’s not working on TNA’s creative side, he has been working closely with Vince Russo on the new ECW angle. Dreamer and Brother Ray, who has been doing some agent work, led the wrestlers through a walkthrough session of the ECW angle on Monday night.
There is some concern within TNA that Dreamer suffered a torn MCL during the big angle at the end of Monday night’s TNA iMPACT tapings. The injury apparently happened when Dreamer was knocked off the stage by Brother Ray as Ray was running towards Brother Devon. Dreamer appeared at the next set of tapings but was said to be limping.
UPDATE: Tommy Dreamer posted the following on his Twitter (http://twitter.com/THETOMMYDREAMER), confirming the injury: "I did tear my MCL in knee Monday night. I must keep my no surgery streak alive. Need brace & tape, gum peanut butter to keep it together "

-- WWE officials have told Nexus members to remain in character while in public and have even ordered them to wear their black armbands everywhere. They are prohibited from posing for photos or signing autographs. With that being said, when approached by fans, most treat them nicely and simply say they're not allowed to sign autographs.
-- A group called "Mothers Opposing McMahon" has been formed to, well, oppose Linda McMahon. The group says Linda has spent $50 million to buy an election, and that $50 million was earned by promoting extremely violent sexually explicit content featuring abusive, degrading treatment of women to children. "She earned her millions putting her workers at risk, and failing to provide health insurance or other disability benefits. The candidate now promising to create jobs laid off 10% of her work force to protect her personal profits," said the group in a statement. The Democratic State Central Committee is behind the group.

TMZ.com is reporting that Jacqueline Beems, Ric Flair's wife, is off the hook for allegedly assaulting him at their home in February. The reason? He wouldn't testify against her.
Officials in Charlotte said that the judge threw out the assault charge today because the D.A. did not have enough information to prosecute her. The report says that Flair did take the stand, but pled the 5th.
Brad Smith, attorney for Flair's wife, said "We are just thrilled at the outcome and all parties are looking forward to moving on."
It should be noted that the couple reconciled shortly after the incident and Flair has traveled with her to several sets of TNA iMPACT! tapings in Orlando, FL.

A teenage fan jumped the guardrail and entered the ring following the Mr. Anderson vs. Matt Morgan match at last night's iMPACT! taping in Orlando. The fan, who was described as being 13 years old, charged towards Anderson and held up his arm after the match. Morgan got up and clotheslined Anderson, which apparently scared the teenager as he ran away. The scripted angle continued as planned once the intruder left the ring.
There was heat on Universal Studios security for allowing the teenager to reach the ring. The teenager was told that he is prohibited from attending all future shows at The Impact! Zone.
On another note, there was a lot of joking backstage following the incident about how Morgan should have taken the kid out.
This comes on the heels of a female fan entering the ring at Monday's RAW taping. As noted earlier, during that incident Cena and Orton were in the ring when the female fan jumped in and got to Cena. Security grabbed her and tried to get her out of the ring. She put up a hell of a fight by wrapping herself in the ring ropes. Finally, three security guards and referee Jack Doan got her out of there.

Earl Hebner runs in but is bumped and there's no referee. Storm cracks a beer bottle over one of the Gun's heads. They drag a ref over to count and get the pinfall. Beer Money are up 2-0.
*Christy Hemme interviewed TNA champion Rob Van Dam. Both mentioned the ECW letters as Van Dam said ECW was where he first became a star and it was great to be back with the boys again last week.

Carter agreed, but only if the former ECW crew have "full control" of the PPV. Dreamer promised they were going to take the Impact Zone "to the Extreme."

As seen at the top of last night's RAW broadcast, WWE debuted a modified montage video. Among the changes were "Classy" Freddie Blassie, Buddy Rogers, Gorgeous George and Harley Race being added, but the most striking change was the removal of the voice of Jim Ross in favor of RAW announcer Michael Cole. Ross was unaware of the change, which he noted last night on Twitter.
Ross was reportedly removed from the opening video montage as punishment for appearing on camera at UFC's 116 pay-per-view event in Las Vegas two weeks ago. Ross was interviewed on camera by Ariel Helwani of AOL Fanhouse following Brock Lesnar's victory over Shane Carwin.
While Steve Austin, Bill Goldberg and Paul Heyman were interviewed as well, Ross is the only one currently under contract to WWE and thus decision was made to make an example out of him.

She informed all talent that they must "tighten up" up their in-ring work and noted that they are essentially spoiled because they have the luxury of performing on a taped show which can be edited.
"Guys were fuming," said one company source regarding her remarks.
On another note, there was no mention of Paul Heyman during the meeting. Talks between Heyman and Dixie Carter are continuing on a daily basis.
For what it's worth, I was told late last night after the tapings that this week's TNA iMPACT! is must-see TV. The Beer Money Inc. vs. Motor City Machine Guns match and the ending of the show was said to have been extremely well done. It'll be interesting to see how things come across this Thursday night on SpikeTV at 9EST. The last month or so of iMPACT! have been really good shows.

Report: Another Major Wrestling Promotion Starting In Florida?
Posted on 07.13.10 by Jason Stone | MISC News |
Source: Pwinsider.com
A new wrestling promotion is starting up out of Florida. The promotion, which has quietly been putting together a business plan, is said to have major financial backing. The new promotion is already signing wrestlers up, and along with the contracts, are having them sign confidentiality agreements.
There is no name known for the promotion at this time, but it is known that they will not actively do anything until the fall. A full promotional launch is expected at the beginning of 2011, As of this time, there is no information of TV deals or TV tapings.
Businessman Peter Karoftis is said to be the main backer for the promotion. Karoftis previously worked with Sterling Equities, which is a New York-based investment firm that owns The New York Mets organization, the SNY cable network, and several real estate and investment companies. Karoftis, along with Florida independent wrestler Sean Davis are said to be the core of the company right now.
Also working with the company are Kevin Kleinrock (Viva La Lucha, Wrestling Society X), Cody Michaels (WSX, XPW) and Mister Saint Laurent (longtime Florida promoter). Kleinrock will be working production, while it is expected that Laurent will work on the creative end. Laurent has previously promoted the "I Believe In Wrestling" company, and there may be a crossover between the new company and the "I Believe In Wrestling" talent and wrestling school.
As of this time, the only confirmed name to sign with the company is Sean Waltman. Many wrestlers asked about the company have declined comment, due to the confidentiality agreements.

TNA Impact opens with Mike Tenay and Taz discussing Victory Road and its aftermath.
Abyss comes out with his board of nails, which has a piece of raw meat hanging off of it, and cuts a promo. He named his board "Janice" and starts beating the meat to death with the board. The crowd chants for RVD, then chants "Beat that Meat." Abyss tells RVD not to worry, because this is going to happen to him. Abyss actually broke the board because he was hitting the mat so hard with it.
*Abyss had ripped up the apron so the crew was changing it. While that was taking place, they showed Taylor Wilde and Sarita brawling all over backstage. Neither one has the upper hand as the video ends. They brawl into the Impact Zone and then to ringside. It's a really good brawl. Wilde tosses Sarita into the first row and chokes her with a purse strap. She chokes out Sarita to get the win, so it was some sort of unannounced hardcore bout.
*There's a backstage segment with Kevin Nash and Miss Tessmacher that I wasn't able to hear clearly.
*X-Division champion Douglas Williams vs. Brian Kendrick is up. Lots of dueling chants followed by a USA chant. Good back and forth match. Kendrick locks in the Cobra Clutch and Williams quits. After the match, Kevin Nash comes out and Kendrick has words with him. Nash chokeslams him.
Nash demands that Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff give him TV time and says he's a living legend. He said that he is going to make an example out of Brian Kendrick but Jeff Jarrett comes out. He tells Nash to settle down or he could end up suspended like Sting. Jarrett tells Nash an egotistical son of a b**ch who cares about nothing but money. Jarrett says that since he took care of Nash, Nash got it. Nash walked off, leaving Jarrett in the ring.
*Samoa Joe vs. Rob Terry vs. Desmond Wolfe. The match starts with both Terry and Joe beating up Wolfe. Wolfe rolls to the outside and then Terry and Joe start beating up each other. Wolfe comes and start to take advantage of the situation. Samoa Joe gets the win via a submission on Wolfe. The camera focuses on Chelsea, who is none too pleased and walks off angry as Wolfe trails behind.
*First in a Best of Five Series: TNA Tag Team champions The Motor City Machineguns vs. Beer Money Inc. Only way to win is to grab the contract. I guess TNA feels the way a lot of fans do about the teams stealing the show last night. All I can say is thank you to TNA for giving us more! Beer Money is out first and James Storm cuts a promo, noting they are tired of getting screwed. Beer Money wins so they lead 1-0. The match was freaking incredible. The Guns grabbed the contract first but James Storm cracked the beer bottle, making one of the Guns drop it and he scooped it up. Big spotlfest with lots of using the ladder as a base and a weapon. Way too much going on to describe, but worth going out of your way to see. I can't wait for the next match..
*Jay Lethal vs. Jeff Hardy is announced for Hard Justice PPV.
*Pope Dinero pinned Matt Morgan. Pretty simple, nothing much to report from the bout itself. After the match, Morgan attacked Pope and set him up against the post for the Carbon Footprint but Ken Anderson made the save. He tossed Pope in the ring, then worked over Morgan. Anderson tried to shake hands with Pope but Pope, remembering their past, doesn't shake it. Anderson heads up the ramp.
*Backstage, Madison Rayne is acting like she's above Lacey Von Erich and Velvet Sky. Velvet gets angry and storms off.
*Madison Rayne comes out to protest the referee's decision at the PPV. She says TNA has seven days to give her the belt back or she will sue TNA. The Beautiful People come out and demand an answer as to why Rayne has recruited the motorcycle woman without their permission. Rayne calls Sky a dumb blonde. Sky responds in time. Velvet threatens to kick Rayne's a** when TNA Knockouts champ Angelina Love comes outt. She says Sky was the one driving the bike which Sky denies and storms backstage, telling Love that Rayne is all hers. Rayne demands her title. Love and Rayne begin fighting. The motorcycle woman arrives and helps Rayne. Love is left beaten down and Rayne leaves with the Motorcycle woman.
*Jeff Hardy pinned Jay Lethal with a swanton in a good back and forth match. The former ECW crew showed up in the crowd during the match. He and Lethal shake hands.
*During a break, Jeremy Borash announced they will be doing special PPV packages for VIPS every month going forward.
*The final segment is an announcement from Ric Flair. Ric Flair comes out with AJ Styles and Frankie Kazarian. Flair said that the PPV was the worst night of his career, then announces Styles and Kaz as the first two members of Fortune. Desmond Wolfe came out and protests, but Abyss hits the ring so they all leave. Abyss calls out Rob Van Dam. He tells RVD "they are coming" and once "they get here", no one can stop them. He tells RVD that he has been instructed to bring them the TNA title. He says at Hard Justice, they are going to hang Janice 15 feet in the air and have an Extreme Anything Goes match. RVD and Abyss start fighting. Abyss gets the upper hand. Ink, Inc. comes out to help but aren't able to stop Abyss. The former ECW guys hop the rail as Mick Foley appears on the stage. They charge the ring and attack Abyss to rescue RVD. Security, agents and TNA wrestlers hit the ring and it's a crazy brawl. Names like Al Snow and Devon side with the ECW guys and it's the former ECW brawling with everyone and anyone asssociated with TNA and the crowd is going nuts for the two sides. Dixie Carter is trying to keep the peace but it's impossible. In the end, ECW takes over with Foley in charge. The end was awesome and actually better than the WWE vs. Nexus angles as everyone fought and no one ran away after 30 seconds.

WWE Monday Night RAW Results - July 12, 2010

Event: WWE Monday Night RAW Airdate: Monday, July 12th, 2010 (USA Network) Location: The Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky. Results by 411 Mania
“Yes, sir, we promised you a great main event…”
-Video package of the ending of Raw last week kicks things off. And we get the opening video package leading us into pyro.
-Tonight, John Cena is going to face the Nexus in a handicapped match, but it will only be 6 on 1 as Darren Young isn't cleared to wrestle.
-And speaking of John Cena, here he comes. He thanks all of us, and he sends a special thanks to the wrestlers who helped him fight off the Nexus. Something was missing though. The pale kid with the red hair. Sheamus. He never showed up. One of these days Sheamus is going to realize that against the Nexus, they're all in this together. But next Monday, Sheamus is going to wake up and realize he's lost the WWE Championship. Cena plans on ripping his face off and switching it up with his butt. Weird. Sheamus has the chance to prove to all of us that he's actually good this Sunday. Sheamus is a two time WWE Champion. Once because Cena fell through a table by accident and once because he was attacked by Nexus. Way to make the champ look like shit John. No one can interfere in a cage match though. After weeks of listening to the human jar of mayoinaise, next Monday, the champ will be here! And as grueling as that match is, it's his easiest match of the week, because the GM has booked him in a 6 on 1 handicapped match. Whether Cena has help or has to do it himself, he's taking them all out. It's not about winning, it's about survival. And here comes the Nexus (all with matching t-shirts).
Barrett says right now Cena shouldn't be worried. Nexus could come to the ring and beat up Cena, but it would be to easy. Nexus gets to do whatever they want with a clear conscience because Cena did this to himself. Cena's too short sighted to realize that the Nexus stands for a much bigger picture. Cena disrespected the GM, and he's going to get what he deserves. Cole's got an email. Cole informs us that if any superstar gets involved in the handicapped match, they will be suspended for 90 days. The Nexus must tag in and out during the match, and if they don't abid by that rule, they will be suspended as well. Barrett says that doesn't make one shred of difference because Cena's going to be in that ring all alone. Cena says they may be lucky to take him out tonight, but tonight he's taking a few of them down with him. Cena's music plays to end the segment.
-Eve Torres is joining Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole on commentary.
Match 1 : Diva's Champion Alicia Fox vs Gail Kim
Hey, Gail's back on Raw, and is going to have a match nonetheless. Tie up to start, and Gail hits an armdrag, and another. Alicia counters a monkey flip and hits a knee. Pin but Gail kicks out. Sleeper by Alicia. Gail fights out with forearms, but to no avail. Gail counters an irish whip with a flapjack. Dropkick by Gail. Crossbody in the corner. Gail goes to the top, but Alicia takes her down with a modified snapmare. Alicia counters the Eat Defeat and hits the Axe Kick. Pin and it's over.
Winner : Alicia Fox (Uh)
Alicia taunts Eve. Eve gets up but Cole's got an email. Due to Alicia Fox feigning her injury last week, Eve's going to have another title match, this Sunday at MITB. Smell the buys.
-Tonight, Edge and Orton are gonna face off in singles action. Also, Cena goes up against the Nexus in a 6 on 1 handicapped match.
Match 2 : Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty and Natalya vs The Uso's and Tamina
One of the Uso's and Tyson start off. Shots by Kidd, spin kick to the gut and dropkick follow. Kidd with a senton off the apron, taking out both the Uso's on the outside. Tyson goes sprinboard, but Tamina trips the leg. Jimmy takes control.Double back elbow/double elbow drop combo. Pin but only two. Sleeper by Jay, but Kidd counters with an armdrag. Uppercut by Jay. Stomps in the corner now, and here comes Jimmy. Tyson gets out of the way, and here comes David. He's taking it to both of the Uso's with clotheslines. Spinning back suplex connects. Pin but Tamina breaks it up. Lou Thesz press by Natalya. Tag to Jay, and he hits a superkick on an unsuspecting David. Jay goes to the top. Splash connects. Pin and that's all.
Winners : The Uso's and Tamina (Maybe it's just me, but I couldn't get into this. It didn't get a lot of time and the Uso's came across as really bland)
Barrett's in the back with Jericho. Barrett thanks Jericho and they shake hands. Josh Matthews asks Jericho for an interview, but Jericho walks on. Barrett gets into Yoshi Tatsu. Yoshi says Cena is his friend. The Nexus appears behind him. Otunga grabs him and knees him in the gut a bunch of times. Tarver clubs him in the back and stands over him as we head to commercial.
-"Money" by I Fight Dragons is the official theme of Money in the Bank.
-And speaking of money, here comes Ted Dibiase and Maryse. Their entrance is taking a shit ton of time. Dibiase introduces us to the Million Dollar Couple. The most powerful couple in the WWE. Of course he's referring to himself and that... briefcase. Dibiase tells Maryse to imagine what happens when he wins MITB. He'll shower he with gifts, and he'll give himself the ultimate gift, the WWE Championship. And here comes John Morrison.
He tells Ted to hold on. He's going to shower her with gifts. Everybody knows the French don't take showers. Maryse says some stuff in French. Morrison says that Maryse just said everyone in the arena has hippopotamus breath, and she also said that he herself resembles a platypus. Don't shoot the messenger. Dibiase attacks Morrison, and starts beating him down on the mat. He yells at Morrison to get up. Morrison counters Dream Street with a gamengiri. Morrison mounts Ted and hits him with the rights. Starship Pain coming up, but Maryse pulls Ted to the outside.
-Cole hypes up the Cena/Nexus match for later tonight.
-Oh god. Brady Bunch time. It's a spoof of the Brady Bunch theme. I can't recap this. Just know that Doink the Clown is in it. Florence has a pie backstage (not that kind. perverts). She says it's for Santino. Fake laughs are included. Regal shows up and makes a joke, but there's no fake laugh. Florence says it's because he's not funny. If Regal wants to konw something of use, he'd ask the Partridge Family. She slaps him and tells him to leave. Santino says he likes that and goes for a kiss. She stops him and walks off.
-Cole and Lawler hype up Raw's MITB ladder match this Sunday. Because of Miz's attack last week, R-Truth will not be included. We'll find out his replacement tonight though. One man who can tell us all about how important MITB is is Edge. We get a video package of Edge winning the first ever MITB ladder match, and then when he cashed in the briefcase. I miss Lita. And now you know.
Edge is shown walking in the back. His match against Orton is up next.
-Tomorrow night, the Nexus returns to NXT. What do they want and who are they after? Baw gawd.
Match 3 : Edge vs Randy Orton
Tie up to start, and both guys fight for the advantage. Orton pushes Edge into the ropes and breaks the old. Another tie up, and Edge pushes Orton into the corner. Right hands by Edge now. Orton starts to fight back with rights of his own. Edge counters an irish whip but gets hit with a clothesline. Orton stomps the head, and now the arm, and the leg. Knee drop. Pin but only two. Kick by Orton, and Edge goes to the apron. Orton grabs Edge and starts hitting him with clubbing blows to the chest. Orton grabs Edge's legs and stomps his chest. He then slingshots Edge throat first into the ropes. Edge rolls to the outside and Orton follows. Orton throws Edge back into the ring and goes up onto the apron. Boot by Edge knocks Orton to the outside. Edge goes to the outside and throws Orton back into the ring. Edge boots Orton in the side of the head. Vintage scoop slam by Orton to take control. European uppercut by Orton. Edge counters an irish whip and sends Orton to the outside as we head to commercial.
We're back and Orton hangs Edge up on the top rope. Orton runs at Edge but gets hit with a drop toe hold. Sleeper by Edge locked in. Orton gets up to his feet but looks like he's about to pass out. He's not though, as he hits Edge with a backsuplex. Both guys are down now. They're both up and Orton hits some clotheslines. Vintage scoop slam by Orton again. Orton with shots to Edge. Orton wants that hangmans DDT. Edge counters though with the Edgecution. Pin but only two. Edge wants the Spear. Kick by Orton to counter. Orton wants the RKO. Edge pushes him off. Orton jumps over a Spear. Roll up but only two. Edge ducks a clothesline and hits that back to back backbreaker. Orton wants the RKO, but here comes Jericho. He throws his jacket into the ring. Orton got distracted. Edgomatic connects. Pin and that's all. When was the last time Edge beat someone with that.
Winner : Edge (Everything before the commercial was kind of slow and boring, but once we got back from commercial, we got an alright match between these two. Still, they're capable of better)
Codebreaker by Jericho to Edge. RKO to Jericho. Bourne's in the ring. Spin kick to Orton. Bourne goes to the top. HOLY FUCKIN CHRIST. Orton just countered a fucking Airbourne into a fucking RKO!!! Holy fucking shit that was awesome.
-Skip Sheffield is walking in the back. Matthews asks him about what their focus is on NXT. Sheffield walks off but bumps into Morrison. Sheffield tells Morrison to watch where he's walking. Morrison gets surrounded by the Nexus. Morrison hits Slater with an elbow but the numbers game is too much. They take Morrison and slam him into a steel door. Slater punts him in the gut. Slater takes Morrison and throws him into some object. Nexus stands over Morrison as we head to commercial.
-AWESOME!! Here comes The Miz. He says everyone's been talking about how they're going to win MITB. Talk is cheap. We get a video package of Miz destroying R-Truth last week. Miz asks us if we get it. He's never been more serious in his entire life. He doesn't talk, he lets his actions speak for themselves. He doesn't need a ladder to take out R-Truth, he did it with his bear hands. He took away R-Truth's dream of winning MITB with his bear hands. He took away his ability to play catch with his son and to entertain. This Sunday, when Miz has a ladder in his hands, what he did to R-Truth will fail in comparison to what he'll do to his opponents. 1 down, and 6 to go. Cole's got an email. Miz will now compete against R-Truth's replacement in the MITB ladder match. Just when you think he has the answers, he changes the questions.
Match 4 : United States Champion The Miz vs Mark Henry
No offense to Henry, but I honestly think we would've been better off if there were only 7 competitors. Miz goes for a shot, but Henry grabs his hand and throws him across the ring. Military press slam by Henry. On the outside now as Henry throws Miz into the ring. Henry charges Miz, but Miz ducks out of the way and Henry goes right into the podium. Miz grabs some plastic container and his Henry with it. He then dumps some garbage on Henry. We're going to commercial.
Winner : Uh, didn't even know the match ended
Did You Know : Nickelback sucks. You probably did, but whatever.
And here comes Florence Henderson. She's going to be the special guest ring announcer. She says she's feeling groovy. She asks us if we're feeling groovy. The following contest is an eight man Brady Bunch tag team match.
Match 5 : The Regal Bunch (William Regal, Zack Ryder, Primo and Doink the Clown) vs The Santino Bunch (Santino Marella, Vladimir Kozlov, Goldust and The Great Khali) - Eight Man Brady Bunch Tag Team match
Regal and Santion start off. Santino does some weird shit, and Regal takes control with forearms and knees. Florence has Regal's jacket on. Regal is distracted. Santino's setting up the Cobra. He nails Regal with it. Pin but Primo and Zack break it up. It's mayhem in the ring now. Doink's in. Santino tags in Khali. Doink is terrified. He goes to slam Khali, but to no avail. He pulls out a squirt gun and sprays it into Khali's eyes. Khali hits him with the overhead chop. Pin and that's all.
Winners : The Santino Bunch (This doesn't even deserve a Vince Head)
The Santino Bunch and Florence are in the ring. Santino goes for a hug, but Florence ducks and goes to Khali. She kisses him, and Santino is pissed. I missed what happened after that because my palm was in my face.
-We get a recap of the WM25 MITB ladder match, along with Punk cashing in on Hardy. Kind of surprising to see Hardy be part of the main focus of a video package.
-Matthews goes up to Edge in the back. Edge says that he wants to thank Jericho for the wake up call. Tonight, he exemplified what the MITB ladder match is. He has 7 other opponents, and you have to have eyes in the back of your head. Edge has been in more MITB ladder matches and won more MITB ladder matches than anyone else. He has a secret though. A little voice in the back of his mind that tells him things. Reminds him to be ruthless, to be void of compassion. It reminds him that he has no morals or rules. He is the Ultimate Opportunist, and he loves destroying the lives of everyone else. That voice talks to him, and he listens to it, and it listens to him. He told it that in 6 days, the fun...truly...begins.
-Bourne has ice on his neck as he's being checked up on by medics. Sheamus shows up and asks him if he's alright fella. Bourne's lucky it wasn't him, because it would have been a lot worse. The Nexus surrounds them. Sheamus tells them they may want to have a word with Bourne and walks off. Gabriel slaps Bourne in the back of the head. Barrett slams the back of his head into the thing he was laying on. Sheamus shows up and says that will teach him a lesson, won't it fella. The Nexus surrounds Sheamus now. Sheffield jumps at Sheamus and he runs off like a coward. Sheamus asks where's Cena's locker room and runs away. Wait, is the point of this Raw to bury the champ, because they're doing a damn good job of it.
It's main event time...
The Nexus vs. John Cena
Back from the break and The Nexus, minus Darren Young, are lined up in the ring. Out next comes John Cena to a big pop. Cena starts things off with Michael Tarver. They go to the corner and Cena beats Tarver down. Cena hits an elbow to the face and a fisherman's suplex. Tarver tags in Justin Gabriel. They lock up and go to the corner. Cena does the same thing, beat Gabriel down in the corner. Cena with a clothesline. Gabriel tags in Skip Sheffield. The crowd chants for Cena as they lock up.
Sheffield comes back in and they distract. Sheffield gets the upperhand and works Cena over. Heath Slater is tagged in and he works Cena over with rights. They team up on Cena as the ref is distracted. Slater with a big back suplex and another. David Otunga is tagged in next. He continues the beatdown on Cena. Cena comes back and decks some members but Otunga clotheslines him. Otunga with a suplex now. Cena fights back with a suplex but Otunga tags in Wade Barrett. Cena with right hands. Barrett knocks Cena down with a big boot to the face. Barrett goes for his finisher but Cena slides out. Cena with two shoulders and a back suplex.
Cena hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle on Barrett. Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment and hits it. Barrett tagged in Sheffield on his way down. Sheffield stomps on Cena and hits his big running clothesline. Otunga is tagged in now. Otunga slams Cena with his finisher. Gabriel is back in next. Gabriel goes to the top for the 450 Splash and hits it for the pinfall and the win.
Winners: The Nexus
- After the match, Barrett comes in and tells everyone to get away from Cena. Barrett says this is personal. Cena gets up and decks Barrett. He gets a chair from ringside and hits Slater in the back with it. Cena hits the ring with the chair and Nexus flees to the floor. Nexus discuss what to do again and surround the ring. Cena is busted open, bleeding from his face. Sheamus runs down with a chair and swings it at the Nexus guys. Sheamus and Cena with chairs fight the Nexus guys off the apron. Nexus retreats to the back. RAW goes off the air with Cena holding a chair bleeding.

Eric Bischoff publicly stated that he would not be at the Victory Road PPV, but some say that he stayed home as a way to "make a point to Dixie Carter" in regards to rumors that Paul Heyman is coming in. Some feel that Hogan also stayed home as a way to "distance himself from TNA if and when Heyman comes in."
It is believed that Hogan and Bischoff are contracted to TNA through the end of 2010.
According to a source, talks between Paul Heyman and TNA are still ongoing and that he could be coming in soon to oversee a complete makeover of the company roster and TNA's front office. As of this writing, nothing has been signed between Heyman and TNA, but the word is that the two sides are "closer to a deal than they are letting on."

Report: Paul Heyman Close To Signing With TNA
Posted on 07.12.10 by Jason Stone | TNA News |

A lot of the TNA talent backstage in Orlando prior to Victory Road were under the impression that Paul Heyman will be signing with the company, although that belief has been around for weeks. He has been in talks with TNA (more specifically Dixie Carter directly) for several months, and he was to be the surprise that did not come through at last month's PPV event.
Heyman was still in New York as far as anyone knew and no deal has been signed as of now. There are still several major issues to sort out and that is why he wasn't at the Victory Road PPV. We believe that is also why the ECW 'invasion' angle is playing out this long.

Event: TNA Victory Road Pay-Per-View Airdate: Sunday, July 11th, 2010 (Pay-Per-View) Location: Universal Studios Soundstage 21 in Orlando, FL.
TNA Victory Road Opener:
We get a video package to open the show that highlights the main event heading into tonight's event.
The pyro hits and Mike Tenay welcomes us to tonight's event and immediately begins hyping some of the bigger bouts tonight, especially the main event. The Ultimate X structure is set up, and looks to start things out tonight. Brian Kendrick's music hits, and he makes his way down to the ring.
Ultimate X & Submission Match for the TNA X Division Championship Douglas Williams vs. Brian Kendrick
Williams tries to go right for the title, but Kendrick stops him, and gets kicked back to the mat for his troubles. Williams comes down from the turnbuckle and locks in a European cravat. Kendrick fights it off and lays into Williams in the corner with a series of right hands. Williams is quick to respond with a running knee, and he goes straight into the last chancery, stolen from Austin Aries. Kendrick refuses to tap out, and he eventually fights out of the hold, and shrugs off a leaping Williams. Kendrick hits a dropkick from the middle rope and tries for his choke submission, but Williams fights it off and hits a diving European uppercut.
Williams stomps away on Kendrick before locking in a headscissors right in the middle of the ring. Kendrick rolls Williams over, and gets right on his feet and just wails on Williams' face with clubbing blows. Kendrick goes for the cobra clutch again, but again, Williams fights it off. Williams locks in what looks to be a Gory special, but Kendrick fights out, hits a low dropkick, and a series of flying forearms before going for the cobra clutch yet again. Williams fights it off, but Kendrick back body drops him out of the ring. Williams is able to make his way up to the top turnbuckle, where he's hung up by Kendrick, who uses the advantage to climb up Williams and try for the title. Williams is able to sit up on the turnbuckle though and back suplex Kendrick all the way from the top down to the mat.
Kendrick goes for the cobra clutch again, but Williams fights it off, only to find himself turned around and locked into the hold. Williams crawls to the outside to avoid tapping out, so Kendrick begins to try and climb the Ultimate X structure. Williams is up and he follows right after Kendrick. the two fight about ten feet up the structure, and Kendrick falls to the ring apron, then the floor. Williams climbs back down to the floor, and he grabs a pair of gloves out of his trunks before driving Kendrick back first into the ring apron. Williams climbs into the ring and begins to put on a pair of climbing gloves.
Williams climbs the structure and makes it to the crossed ropes over the ring, and Kendrick is up, and quickly there. Kendrick wraps his legs around Williams, and it looks like he tries for the cobra clutch again, but both men end up crashing to the mat. Williams locks in a cobra clutch of his own, and Kendrick looks to be out. The referee raises his arm three times, and Kendrick is unable to keep it up. Williams wins by submission, but it's technically referee stoppage.
Winner and STILL TNA X Division Champion: Douglas Williams
Backstage:
Christy Hemme is backstage with Brother Ray. He interrupts her, says that Jesse Neal is a failure to his family, and his fans, and his dead friend, basically everyone. Ray says he'll be a failure tonight. Ray says it's not in D-Von's best interests to lay his hands on Ray, because Ray made him and D-Von couldn't survive in the business without him. Ray says that he is Team 3D, and he'll win tonight.
3-Way Match Brother Devon vs. Brother Ray vs. Jesse Neal
We get a video package detailing the events of the last few weeks that have led up to this match.
Team 3D's music hits, and Brother Ray comes out, but he looks around and walks right back backstage. Jesse Neal is the second man announced, and he makes his way down the ramp where he's eventually jumped by Ray. 3D's music hits again, but it doesn't look like anyone's coming out. Ray continues to beat Neal around the entrance ramp.
Backstage, a camera is showing a door, and D-Von is pounding on the other side of it, apparently locked in, and trying to get out.
Back in the ring, Ray hits Neal with a big clothesline and just continues to dominate the young wrestler. Ray lays in big rights and lefts to the side of Neal's head before delivering a big elbow drop. Ray picks up Neal and slams his head into the turnbuckle before delivering a huge open hand chop. Ray hits Neal with a big elbow drop to the top of the head and Ray continues circling, hitting Neal with another open hand chop to the back. Ray hits Neal with a body slam, and goes for another elbow, but Neal avoids it, and tries for a flurry of offense, only to walk into a back body drop.
Tommy Dreamer leads his group, including Rhino, Raven, and Stevie Richards, to a huge pop from the crowd. Ray is distracted and he asks what the men are doing there. Ray turns around and eats a spear from Neal that's good for a two count. Neal mounts Ray and just works him over with a series of punches, but when he gets off Ray, Ray immediate responds with a big clothesline. Ray goes out and grabs a chair, and Moore runs out to try and help, but it only distracts the ref, allowing Ray to launch the chair directly into Neal's back. The ref sends Moore to the back and Ray celebrates. 3D's music hits and D-Von makes his way to the ring.
D-Von and Ray have a stare down in the middle of the ring, and then they both look down at Jesse Neal. Ray tries to hit D-Von with a cheap shot, but D-Von sees it coming and he lays into Ray with offense of his own. Neal goes for a spear, and accidentally hits D-Von. Ray capitalizes with a Bubba bomb, and he pins Neal for a quick three count.

The costumed woman sends Love head first into the ring post. The ref calls for the bell.
The ref rules that because of outside interference by the Beautiful People, Rayne is DQ'ed, and she loses the title to Angelina.

Rayne argues with the ref, saying that it isn't one of the Beautiful People. She gets on the motorcycle with the mystery woman, and they ride off into the back.
Backstage:
Christy Hemme is backstage with Mr. Anderson, who cuts a goofy comedy promo that's probably just a little too over the top. Anderson talks for a bit about the people that he's going to be facing in the main event tonight, and he uses each as an opportunity to make a terrible joke. Anderson says after it's all said and done, he'll have the chance to be TNA World Champion. Anderson calls Hemme and asshole, and walks off.

Styles tries to attack from behind but Joe sees it coming. Back in the ring, Joe tags in and goes to work on Kaz with a series of big punches, and then stomps. Joe tags out to Terry, and Kaz flees to his corner to tag in Styles.

Hernandez picks up Morgan for what looks to be the border toss, but he doesn't look to be able to get Morgan up for the move. Hernandez tries for another border toss, but it ends up more like a powerbomb that didn't look too pretty. Hernandez climbs up to the top of the cage, and he looks down, signaling to the crowd. Hernandez dives off the top toward Morgan, but Morgan moves and Hernandez crashes to the mat.
Morgan goes to something on the apron, and it turns out he's got a set of handcuffs. Morgan handcuffs Hernandez to the top rope, but it's on the side of the cage with the door. Morgan climbs up to the top of the cage, and Hernandez rips off the handcuffs before diving through the cage door with a huge headbutt.

He asks if Hemme knows what Lethal has done, he's made a decision that will send him back. Ric Flair is why there is a sport called pro wrestling. He says he's spent 39 years being the man, and in TNA, he will walk the aisle again, style and profile, and Lethal will wonder what he's done to himself. Flair says he hates showing off, but tonight he's going to be Naitch, he's going to smack Lethal around so bad, Lethal will go to his mom and ask to be breast fed. Flair says this is Sunday, he should be drinking wine and making love to a beautiful woman, and now he's got to go out and wrestle. Flair says he's the greatest wrestler that ever lives, woo's a whole bunch, and then walks off.
Jay Lethal vs. Ric Flair
Tenay and Taz BS about the next match for a little while before the video package is even shown. Probably because the cage now needs to be taken down, and TNA isn't the speediest when it comes to things like that.
Lethal says something to Flair while pointing out to the crowd. The crowd begins to chant, and they're pretty evenly split. Lethal and Flair lock up and Lethal locks in a side headlock, and doesn't let go. Lethal takes Flair down to the mat, and Flair doesn't look to flustered. Lethal follows up with a missile dropkick that's good for a two count, and Flair puts his thumb in Lethal's eye.

Flair does his goofy falling to his face routine, before getting back up and putting his thumbs back in Lethal's eye. Flair tries to go to the top, but Lethal catches him and hits a giant superplex. Lethal goes back to the top and tries for a moonsault, but Flair rolls out of the way. Flair catches Lethal with a boot to the side of the head before stomping away at Lethal's knee and thigh.
Flair chop blocks Lethal's knee, and Lethal drops like a ton of bricks. Flair continues to just stomp away at Lethal's knees, before picking up his legs and locking in the figure four right in the middle of the ring. Lethal screams in pain and Flair uses the ropes for an extra bit of leverage. The ref catches Flair finally, and forces Flair to break the hold. Flair and Hebner get into an arguement, and it allows Lethal to score a quick roll up that's good for a two count.
Flair fish hooks Lethal, before hitting him with another series of chops to the chest. Around the fourth chop from Flair, Lethal responds with some of this own and the two men begin trading blows with each other. Lethal catches Flair with a flying forearm, and another chop before taking Flair down with a back handspring elbow. Flair begs off in the corner, but Lethal takes it right back to him. Lethal flips out of the corner and taunts Flair with a little strut. Lethal goes for the sunset flip, but ends up with a handfull of trunks, and Ric Flair, the old man himself, exposes his rear end on a world wide PPV. Flair locks in a sleeper that Lethal fights off, only to hit a springboard cross body, and a splash across Flair's knee.
Lethal chop block's Flair's knee, and then drags him into the middle of the ring to lock in a figure four of his own. Flair is forced to tap out to Jay Lethal is his own hold.

Another lock up and Storm back Shelley up again. He tries to punch Shelley, but Shelley comes back with a flurry of offense of his own. Shelley makes the tag to Sabin who comes in and eats a couple of right hands from Roode. Sabin hits a kick to the face, and the Guns use a blind tag to take both Storm and Roode out to the floor. Sabin follows Roode to the outside and rolls him back in for Shelley.
Shelley goes to work on Roode's arm before tagging in Sabin who double teams Roode, still focusing on the arm. Sabin stomps away at Roode's head, but Roode is able to make it back to his feet and tag out to Storm. Another blind tag for the Guns leads to another double team, and Shelley goes for the pin, but Roode comes in to break things up. Shelley sends Roode to the floor, but then turns around into a punch to the face from Storm. Sabin is arguing with the ref, and it leads to Roode pulling Shelley down and crotching him against the ring post. Shelley hits a standing sliced bread, and goes for the cover, but Roode breaks it up. Things break down and Sabin is fighting against both members of BMI. Sabin hits a hurricarana on Storm, and he tries for one on Roode, but Roode catches him, and sets him up, allowing his partner to hit the eye of the Storm. Roode and Storm double team Shelley with a sick double knee drop, but it's not good enough for three. BMI try for the DWI, but the Guns see it coming and prevent it, but Storm comes from out of nowhere with a big clothesline taking out both members of the Guns. Shelley and Sabin continue to showcase their beautiful double team maneuvers. Shelley and Roody fight it out in the ring, and Roode jumps over the ropes out on top of Sabin. Shelley returns the favor, leaping out on top of Roode.
Storm tries to spit beer into Sabin's eyes, but it ends up in the eyes of the ref. The Guns connect with a beautiful double team, and Earl Hebner runs in from the back, but it's still not enough for a three count. more double teams from the Guns, and Shelley hits a big cross body. Roode rolls through and goes for the cover but he only gets two. Roode and Shelley trade right hands, and Shelley hits a series of slaps. The Guns hit a series of kicks on both men. Storm and Sabin both pin the other team member, and both referees make the count. Confusion ensues.
Since there's no decisive winner, the match has to be restarted.
BMI attack the Guns right off the bat, and things are still pretty much free of rules as all four men are in the ring. Shelley avoids a splash from Storm, and this allows the Guns to turn the tide of the match. A cross body/ddt combo from the Guns leads to a pin, and the three count. This one is over.

WWE Not Happy About News Of HHH's Injury Becoming Public

It would appear that WWE officials did not want word of Triple H’s recent surgery to surface. Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Dirk Hayhurst, who broke the news of the WWE Superstar’s surgery on his Twitter account last Thursday, has since removed the posts.
Sources later disclosed that he underwent surgery to repair a torn muscle tendon in his arm, which will sideline him for several more months.

Carlito Says He Was Tired Of WWE's Backstage Politics
Posted on 07.10.10 by Jason Stone | WWE News |
Appearing on Monday’s edition of the Right After Wrestling Sirius satellite radio show, former WWE superstar Carlito opened up about being depressed and trying to leave the company on numerous occasions before he was finally released due to his refusal to enter rehab for an alleged pain pill addiction.
On wanting to get the hell out of WWE:
“I had been asking for my release for a long time. I tried to finish up my contract, which I think was up in August. I had been trying to leave for about three years. For the last year, I was just miserable. I wasn’t even myself. I was dying just to get away.”
On being fired for a Wellness Policy infraction and refusing to go to rehab:
“I wouldn’t say I got myself fired on purpose, but in that last year, I really didn’t care. They wanted me to go to rehab. My opinion was I didn’t need it. I’m not addicted to pills. I think what happened is I was depressed. I have scripts (for pain medication) legit reasons for using them. I think I was abusing them as anti-depressants instead. I remember other people not in WWE would tell me to go to rehab because it looks good on paper. I said, ‘One, I don’t want to keep my job. Two, I’m not going to admit to a problem I don’t have.’”
On the grinding travel and not being utilized properly on television:
“I was always grinding. I was always working. Mainly, my big problem was I thought they were f**king with me. I didn’t like the mind games and all the bulls*** they were putting me through. Maybe it was all in my head, but I just felt that’s what they were doing with me. I could never get a straight answer. I get sometimes you have to take a backseat, but how long am I supposed to sit in the back?”
On dealing with the backstage politics and people’s claims that he was lazy:
“I remember people would tell me to just play the game. I can’t just play the game. I can’t be fake. I love the business, I just don’t like the politics. I want to be able to help out and give back in somehow. In WWE, I wasn’t doing any of that. I also felt I was gypping the people (in WWE) putting in three-minute matches that didn’t mean anything. It just breaks your heart when you can give so much more.”
It’s worth noting that in the same interview, Carlito did not rule out the possibility of going to TNA, though nothing appears imminent. Dixie Carter was most definitely interested in bringing him in at one point, but their priorities may have shifted given that they are spending less money to bring in big names these days.

Details On Lesnar & Lashley's Next Fights
Posted on 07.10.10 by Jason Stone | UFC News |
-- UFC World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar (5-1) vs. Cain Velasquez (8-0) for the UFC Heavyweight title has been signed for UFC 121 on October 23rd. I believe the winner of this fight will then go on to face the winner of a fight between 'Big Country' Roy Nelson and Junior Dos Santos. They could also do a Lesnar-Carwin rematch as well, especially is Lesnar loses the fight.
-- Bobby Lashley will fight next at the Strikeforce: Houston event on August 21st. No opponent has been announced yet.

Jim Ross has posted a new blog entry at JRsBarBQ.com, here are the highlights…
On Bret Hart: Got a nice email from Bret Hart today who's getting married in Calgary on July 24, as I understand it. We will be sending Hitman more J.R.'s BBQ Sauce, Chipotle Ketchup and Beef Jerky to his home in Hawaii for a wedding gift. We have a standing invite from Bret to visit him in Hawaii any time which I hope to be able to take advantage of sooner than later.
On Shawn Michaels: Emailer...the last text I received from HBK he said he was relaxing and enjoying being a Dad and a Husband and was having a great "family summer." HBK continues to do a significant amount of church work as well. Shawn may be the first, big time wrestling superstar to 'retire' from pro wrestling since Jack Brisco to stay retired. Precedent says that won't happen but if Shawn does make a return to the ring I have to believe that it will be a very special, well timed occasion that will also be extremely logical.
On Vince Russo: Emailer...Yes...Vince Russo played a significant role in the success of the Attitude Era of WWE back in the day but everything and I mean every thing that appeared on TV was vetted and approved by the Chairman of the Board. Everything. The talent roster wasn't bad either if you will pardon me while I pat myself on the back (Thanks, Gorilla.) But Russo should be given his due in all fairness.
On Batista Trying MMA: Emailer...No...it isn't fair to compare Dave Bautista to Brock Lesnar as it relates to Dave's potential, MMA career. Not only is their age when they started the process much different, Lesnar was much younger, but Brock's amateur wrestling background is non paralleled. Dave is a big, strong, athletic guy who has a competitive demeanor but can he acquire the necessary skills to perform at a sustainable, marketable level? Time will tell on that one. Bautista is currently training in earnest to develop his MMA skills and if that can be accomplished it is likely that the former WWE star will sign with Strikeforce. Lot's of "ifs" but if Dave can acquire the necessary skill set then one can easily predict that he will do a viable TV rating for Strikeforce/Showtime/CBS especially if Dave fights Bobby Lashley. Lashley would be a heavy favorite to win that contest. I wish Dave well and would certainly watch him fight if that day actually comes. I still think that exploring his movie opportunities and eventually returning to WWE is "The Animal's" best options but I always encourage people to do what they feel is best for them. We're all just passing through this life one time as best as I can tell.

Bischoff Discusses Danielson and Heyman TNA Rumors
Posted on 07.09.10 by Jason Stone | TNA News |

In an interview this past week on Monday Night Mayhem, Eric Bischoff had some comments regarding two popular figures of late in pro wrestling Bryan Danielson and Paul Heyman. Can we expect either one in TNA soon?
Regarding Bryan Danielson: “I guess a lot of that would have to do with Bryan Danielson and whether he would want to come work for TNA. I don’t know that answer to that, and I haven’t had any conversations with him. I don’t have an idea about what Bryan Danielson is thinking about in terms of his next move. I’m sure if TNA wanted Bryan and he was interested in working for TNA, I’m sure TNA could find a way to do it, given they haven’t much trouble signing other big names in the last six months or so.”
Regarding Paul Heyman: “I’ve heard the Paul Heyman rumor over the last few months, and I know that Paul has talked to Dixie [Carter] so there has been some conversation, but I don’t know what Paul’s plans really are. I don’t talk to Paul on a daily basis, and if Paul was to join TNA, I think it’ll be a big asset, but I don’t know what his immediate plans are.”
Regarding the Victory Road PPV this Sunday: “I think the Heavyweight Title Match is intriguing. Love watching RVD, love watching Ken Anderson. I’m a big Anderson fan. Jeff Hardy & Abyss; it’s gonna be great. I’m a huge Kurt Angle fan, and I love what he’s doing, and that he pulled himself out of the Top 10 rankings, and is working his way up the ladder. So I find that match (Angle vs. “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero) the one I’m looking forward to the most.”

Ex-WCW Star Joining TNA Creative Team?, More News
Posted on 07.09.10 by Jason Stone | TNA News |
Former WCW star “Taskmaster” Kevin Sullivan met recently with TNA President Dixie Carter about joining the company’s creative team. During that meeting, Sullivan presented an angle that involves a year-long main event storyline that would require them signing a top star who the company would likely have difficulty getting.
We can also confirm that TNA did, in fact, quietly part ways with writer Ed Ferrara a few weeks ago. Ferrara left a teaching position and was brought into the company several months ago around the time that Jim Cornette not-so-quietly parted ways with them, in large part due to that hiring. Of course, Ferrara also served as Vince Russo’s right-hand man for the World Wrestling Federation during the Attitude Era.

The undisclosed operation that Triple H underwent this week was to repair a torn muscle tendon in his arm. Though he had been plagued recently by issues with both surgically-repaired quads and his neck, this is a new injury that may have been suffered while filming one of his two upcoming WWE Films. His planned SummerSlam return bout against Sheamus is likely out the window now as he is expected out for several months.
Triple H was last seen on television being put out of action by Sheamus at the “Extreme Rules” pay-per-view in April where he lost a hellacious streetfight to the Celtic Warrior.

-- Reportedly, "it was a lock" a few weeks ago that Bound for Glory would be held in San Antonio. The decision to move the pay-per-view event to Daytona Beach was due to company officials finding out that WWE had scheduled a Monday Night RAW taping in San Antonio on July 26.
-- One third of the Knockout Tag Team Champions, Velvet Sky, recently signed a three-year contract with TNA Wrestling. She also received a pay raise, bumping her salary from $300 per show to $600 per show. As a result, she is among the company's top female earners.
-- Due to poor sales, TNA Wrestling's "Ultimate Fan Xperience: Victory Road VIP Weekend" has been discounted from $299 to $99. The company reportedly sold less than ten VIP packages, hence the markdown. All fans who had previously purchased tickets at the $299 price will receive a refund for the difference of the ticket price. For more information on the proceedings, visit TNAWrestling.com.

MLB Player Says Triple H Has Undergone Surgery

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Dirk Hayhurst made the following posts on his Twitter. He is currently rehabbing an injury, and met up with a fresh out of surgery HHH at the facility..
* Guess who I just singed a book for... Triple H of the WWE. Seriously, I just found myself next to him on a training table. Wow, Surreal
* I did not get a pic, he was a tad out of it, fresh out of surgery so I didn't want to hassle him. Besides, photo's in hospitals are no no's
* HHH was alert enough for me to ask him a question. I gave him the most important one I could think of: "Where do you think Lebron will go?"
* Actually, I didn't ask him anything. He look tired and it's best to leave large, powerful men alone when they are tired. I wish him well.
* Alright, all you punny guys, my mistake: I SIGNED a book for HHH not singed it. You know what I meant. Garfoose now practicing the pedigree
* Funny, when they wheeled him in he didn't spit water or scream, just kinda laid there quietly http://youtu.be/ww-o--ZaW5M He'd still kill me
At this time, there is no word on what the surgery was for.

Current Plans For HHH & Undertaker At SummerSlam

Current plans call for SummerSlam to be built around the in-ring returns of Triple H and The Undertaker. Triple H would face Sheamus in a grudge match while Undertaker would face the perpetrator of placing him "in a vegetative state." With reports that Triple H underwent surgery, this may change. We are still trying to figure out what he had done.
Additionally, a six-person tag match pitting David Hart Smith, Tyson Kidd and Natalya against Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso and Tamina is penciled in for the event.
As always, things are constantly changing and NONE of this is confirmed.

-- The Undertaker, who takes his role with WWE very seriously, ultimately did not attend Saturday’s UFC 116 event due to the ongoing “vegetative state” storyline.
-- 12 years ago yesterday, Bill Goldberg defeated Hollywood Hogan on WCW “Monday Nitro” before 38,196 fans (official attendance from the venue’s site) to capture the WCW Heavyweight Title.
After beginning to falter under the weight of a resurgent WWF, Nitro won the ratings war that night.
The New World Order had seemingly been toppled. All seemed right in Turner Land, but of course, less than 3 years later WCW was dead.
-- A commercial promoting Friday Night SmackDown’s forthcoming Syfy debut is scheduled to air tomorrow, likely during NXT.

Posted on 07.06.10 by Jason Stone | WWE News |

-- On this week's edition of WWE Monday Night RAW, obvious hints were given that the "Mystery GM" was Stone Cold Steve Austin. According to sources within WWE, this is simply a red herring to throw people off and Austin is not the GM.
-- At a SmackDown house show tonight in Savaannah GA, Drew McIntyre made his return with a promo despite being "deported" in storyline terms. It is now believed that Drew will be reinstated at tonight's SmackDown tapings.
We'll have a report from tonight's tapings up later on. If you're attending the tapings and would like to send in a report or some live notes, feel free to email us at news@24wrestling.com.
