Orton’s Skull Punt Banned, New Trish Stratus Magazine Cover

- A fan suggested to Randy Orton on Twitter that he deliver his trademark punt kick to Chris Jericho’s skull after Jericho hit him with 3 codebreakers on Monday’s RAW. While Orton is sure to exact revenge on Jericho, he won’t be skull punting any time soon:

“The punt has been banned. ‘Concussional’ awareness.”

- Trish Stratus will gracing the cover of the new issue of Inside Fitness Magazine. This will be the 90th magazine cover for the former WWE diva. Check out the cover:

    It’s not like the punt was ever remotely believable anyway. Orton was never able to walk that fine line between “pulling” the kick at the last second while also delivering a convincing follow-through. I’ve never seen him execute it to where it didn’t look obviously pulled. The punt was always 90% dependent on the victim selling the hell out of it. Orton is one of my favorite guys, but he seriously needs to learn a submission or two.

        Thanks. I just never saw that as a believable move, as opposed to say, the Superkick, or the Brogue Kick. and I of course mean “believable”, as it pertains to professional wrestling, lol.

    Orton’s punt will not be missed. It looked really fake on almost every execution. Now if Samoa Joe’s ole kick is banned, then we should riot.

    Fans love the punt! Orton’s rare punt is one of his trademark that made him cool and intimidating, and now WWE’s banning it. Now Orton is totally PG! This is the reason why WWE’s rating’s not going up. They take away the good stuff!
