TNA LAUNCHES UNPRECEDENTED “WHERE ACTION NEVER ENDS” 24/7 CROSS-PLATFORM PROGRAMMING

TNA BRINGS FANS CLOSER THAN EVER BEFORE TO THE REAL LIVES OF WRESTLING SUPERSTARS

Coming off the heels of one of TNA’s highest-attended “Bound For Glory” Pay-Per-View events to date, TNA Wrestling announces a 24/7 cross-platform programming initiative, “Where Action Never Ends,” beginning today. Marking an evolution in the way fans experience professional wrestling, through this initiative, cameras will be rolling on the TNA superstars at live events, on the road and in their homes, giving viewers the chance to experience IMPACT Wrestling 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

How this will work: Fans will see compelling, “cameras everywhere” content infused into IMPACT Live on Spike TV every Thursday from 9-11 p.m. ET. For the remaining 166 hours of the week until the next show, they will also have the chance to see many of the wrestlers they love and storylines they follow unfold as this exclusive content filmed during the week will be presented online at www.impactwrestling.com, on social channels including YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, as well as a variety of new distribution channels in the coming months.

A longtime valued partner, Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla, will serve as the hub for TNA’s revolutionized programming strategy with shows primarily taping at their location, along with some IMPACT shows that will be filmed on the road from different markets. The first IMPACT show scheduled from Orlando will air live on November 21.

“The way that people view television has dramatically shifted, and it is incumbent upon us to deliver a modern, revolutionized way of watching professional wrestling to our fans,” said President Dixie Carter. “Our reality is that we only have 82 minutes of programming each week and a large roster of talented professionals that deserve more exposure. With our new ‘Where Action Never Ends’ creative direction, we will deliver just that for both them and the fans.”

Carter continued, “Bringing live events to our fans across the globe will remain a vital element of TNA’s business; however, our renewed focus, as it relates to our television programming, will shift from live event touring to 24/7 show content, so that fans can really get to know our talent. And, in making Orlando’s Universal Studios our programming hub, we have the powerful combination of state-of-the art production facilities and incredible soundstages that will make it easier for us to launch this new production-intensive initiative. We will also be working with Universal to develop new and creative ways for park guests and fans from around the world to experience a unique TNA attraction.”

“Universal Studios Florida Production Group is pleased to be TNA Wrestling’s partner as it launches its 24/7 cross-platform initiative ‘Where Action Never Ends’,” said Pamela Tuscany, Vice President and General Manager, Universal Studios Florida Production Group. “We look forward to the successful launch of ‘Where Action Never Ends’ giving viewers the chance to experience IMPACT Wrestling 24 hours a day/7 days a week.”

Along with a refreshed creative approach, several new characters will be announced in the coming months. In recent weeks, fans have already seen Ethan Carter III (EC3) and Lei’D Tapa, TNA’s newest Knockout. Universal Studios will also serve as the primary training facility for TNA talent moving forward, providing the opportunity to train and develop talent on an ongoing basis.

The strength and success of TNA’s programming worldwide is at an all-time high. TNA Wrestling ratings around the world are seeing significant increases particularly in important international television markets such as the UK and Germany where the show is the number one wrestling program on television. Additionally, TNA recently inked new deals with distribution partners in Portugal and New Zealand, renewed a multi-year deal in France, and recently-launched programming in India is performing beyond expectation.

“A decade ago, TNA started as a Pay-Per-View only company only and has grown into a global success. I am more excited than ever about our ‘Where Action Never Ends’ creative direction and what will become the next evolution of professional wrestling,” said Carter.

Why does a company that is on it’s death bed need a developmental system? OVW which was WWE’s developmental territory is doing better than TNA right now! Maybe WWE should make TNA their own developmental territory?

    • Evelyn L. Ford

TNA dumping OVW as a training ground/ developmental territory is stupid because it will cause them to be on their deathbed; OVW is the best training facility around- dropping OVW is a huge mistake; OVW really puts on great shows! This will not only hurt OVW, but TNA as well- Jessie Godderz trained there and look at how fantastic he’s been with him and Robbie E. winning the TAG TEAM TITLES! OVW is the HARVARD OF PRO WRESTLING! Both promotions will lose all of their money on this deal; the same people will attend TNA every week and NOT give anyone else a chance! These wrestlers want to be on the world stage- they do NOT want this! I ought to know- I communicated with ROCKSTAR SPUD and he wants to be the biggest star in the world! He said so on British Boot Camp! How could you, TNA? How could you be so mean to him like that? Deprive him of what he wanted? He should quit you- y’all cheated him of his dreams! Rockstar Spud wanted to be a big star and y’all cheated him and let him down; TNA , you should be ashamed of yourselves, as Rockstar Spud is the best wrestler in developmental, ever!

      • Kage

        SPUUUUUDDDDDDD!!!!

    • Evelyn L. Ford

And Rip Rogers is the best wrestling teacher/ wrestler that really knows his thing and knows what he teaches; Al Snow has a great sense of humor; Rockstar Spud called these 2 the best teachers/mentors he’d ever had! TNA will not go anywhere without OVW by their side!

    • Evelyn L. Ford

OVW is the best school around! How could TNA do this to them and the fans? I never saw Spud in person and I don’t know if I ever will; but, I saw John Cena of WWE and they are both the greatest of all time! Another OVW-trained great is Rico Costantino!

    • Stephen Findall

Wait wait wait….highest-attended “Bound For Glory” Pay-Per-View events to date,Seriously?

    • Evelyn L. Ford

I hope that TNA eventually does go under- I am so mad at them right now for doing this injustice to those wrestlers; I wish i’d gotten to meet Rockstar Spud, especially; always a favorite of mine; I’m very sad at this- I live right across the river from where OVW is. <:(

    • Kage

I said quite a while ago that TNA’s financial issues could potentially be a good thing; that it would force the company to re-prioritise and make some much-needed changes.
Hopefully, this is the start of that upheaval.

    • Anthony Rocco Riban

Bring back Matt Morgan and make him the next TNA Champion…

    • Evelyn L. Ford

I so hate TNA right now; Dixie is the worst! She doesn’t know a thing about wrestling; she should be fired herself!

    • Evelyn L. Ford

And it’s a huge injustice to OVW- in recent days- past month, they’ve had such great matches- a ladder match that was very similar to Destination/ Ultimate X that was comprised of women; they also had a fierce cage match last week that involved Pope Elijah Burke, former TNA/WWE, and they also had Jamin Olivencia challenge Kurt Angle to a match for the OVW Heavyweight Title! How mean can TNA possibly be?

    • Evelyn L. Ford

And I fully disagree completely with Dixie’s foolish announcement! TNA will NEVER be a WWE!

    • Evelyn L. Ford

WWE will always be better than TNA!

    • Evelyn L. Ford

And I’ll confess why I am so sad I’ll probably never meet Rockstar Spud unless further notice- he’s my #1 FAVORITE WRESTLER EVER- So much that, even though I never met him, I had a crush on him!

    • Masterpain

How are they gonna take a refreshed creative approach when they keep using old storylines from WWE and WCW. Now they’re trying to do the CM Punk angle with AJ Styles. I knew this was gonna happen when they started talking about his contract.

    • SouthSide

HIGHEST attended??? So all of the about 47 people are the most they’ve ever had??? WWE draws more attendance for a regular house show with NO promotion!!! TNA = DEATH. I feel for the lower card talent because I’m sure Vince won’t want them so they’ll be used to making nothing. I’m sure that ROH is doing better than TNA and they don’t even have a real national tv deal like TNA does. Oh well, I knew that when Dixie became a character like she said she would NEVER do(in comparison to Vince), that the end was near. She should just call Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon or Ted Turner and ask them if they would be interested in buying a wrestling company.

    • SouthSide

“The first IMPACTshow scheduled from Orlando will air live on November 21.”??? I know I’m not the smartest person in the world but I know that they always used to film their shows their, correct? Then they were drinking their own juice and thought they could make money on the road(and FAILED). Now their trying to kiss up and make up with their old girlfriend(Orlando, Florida). But now WWE is in that same area with their younger talent and I’m sure that WWE has more of an influence so good luck TNA(Which I don’t mean).

    • SouthSide

If TNA is doing so well overseas, then they should move all of their business solely over there. I mean they aren’t NO competition to be honest. I am a WWE guy but this isn’t about WWE right now. This is about TNA not sticking to what made them stand out in the first place. And for that, I can say “Don’t let the door hit you where the good Lord split you!” HA HA HA

    • Michael

They should of never traveled or they started way to soon. Either way they need to stay in one spot put on one hell off a weekly show and watch the numbers grow. Then maybe travel Three or four times a year for supper ppv live shows.Bring the circus.I mean turn up the heat set it on fire an blow it all out.Three four times a year t -shirt hats signing pictures an so on.After every travel ppv cut sell main even stages with signatures witch has been done but only make it only 3 or four times a year. Use only those that really connect with the viewers like um or hate um. Make sure you arena is a little small so you always sale out.No empty seats. And so On.

Laugh if you find it Funny!

Cry if it make you Sad !

And really get PO if it makes you Mad!

      Pie in your Face!

      send in the Clowns !

And they all float Down! lol

    • Evelyn L. Ford

Update: I have just been to a Rockstar Spud match and have now met him!

    • Evelyn L. Ford

Rockstar Spud is one of the nicest, sweetest wrestlers I have ever met; I was very lucky to have gone to see him while I had the chance while he was at OVW. He also won his match that night, as well!

    • Evelyn L. Ford

      TNA is so stupid!

    • Evelyn L. Ford

Wrestling Shocking Rumors: Jesse Ventura and the frontman of Smashing Pumpkins both possibly looking to buy TNA; also, Hulk Hogan rumored to be returning to WWE; also, rumor has it that, if Jesse Ventura bought TNA, the only TNA talent currently at OVW that he’d keep on the TNA roster is Lei’d Tapa; also, a truth- OVW says they are still the official developmental for TNA- TNA wrestlers made up the lie about the split!

    • Evelyn L. Ford

And I do NOT know who made up the lie, but I am sure they will be caught!

    • Evelyn L. Ford

Or it could have been somone else who has trouble spelling!

    • Evelyn L. Ford

On second thought TNA/OVW people were so rude to me today that I can now care less about the stupid idiots; I hope that both TNA and OVW both disappear from the face of the earth and both go out of business; TNA OVW and all who work in both suck! Kiss Vince McMahon’s you-know-what!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Evelyn L. Ford

WWE will beat out TNA in everything; so what if WWE NXT released Kassius Ohno; they’ll still survive; TNA has gone back to being the stupid amusement park attraction that they started out to be; OVW is nothing but full of trash and wannabes! Especially FRANK TPT MILLER, ROCKSTAR SPUD, RIP ROGERS- ALL GARBAGE PEOPLE WHO ARE FULL OF GARBAGE THEMSELVES!!!!!!!!!! LOUSY mean rude nasty people who all deserve to be fired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Evelyn L. Ford

TNA should go take all of their talents in developmental and take them out of OVW and instead go to TEAM 3D ACADEMY in Florida and turn it into FUTURESHOCK OF IMPACT WRESTLING and make it direct competition with WWE NXT; it’s not far from Universal Orlando and it’s better than OVW, I’m sure; fire all of the jobbers that are a waste of time and money and who aren’t on TNA much (ROCKSTAR SPUD is nothing but a stupid jobber) and regroup at TEAM 3D ACADEMY!!!!!!!!!! IMPACT TNA FUTURE SHOCK WRESTLING; better name than OVW, anyway!!!!!!!! Rip Rogers is a woman hater, an extortionist; Frank TPT Miller is a hater of woman fans, as well; Rockstar Spud follows their example and possibly has made fun of Dixie, as well; for that, he needs to be fired and sent back to the UK; he’s a poor excuse for a wrestler and he looks like a small child!!!!!!!!!!

    • Evelyn L. Ford

Go back to ROH, OVW; I hate you for making fun of me on Twitter, E-mail, etc; especially you, Rockstar Spud- go back to UK, you jobber!

    • Evelyn L. Ford

I am a firm supporter of TEAM 3D ACADEMY to become sole developmental territory of TNA IMPACT WRESTLING; who’s with me in helping me rid the trash out of Louisville?

    • Evelyn L. Ford

And whoever blogs for OVW should know that the TNA OVW marriage dance is not lasting much longer; TNA will go out of business if they don’t choose Team 3D Academy today!!!!!!! Much closer and developmentals will have more TV time than they do now! So, forget about OVW, leave it as a very negative distant memory and let’s all go to Team 3D Academy and Universal Orlando as the new TNA hub for ALL talents, both main and in developmental! What a better deal, and it don’t bother me none that they’d be leaving my area, as I will NOT miss them; sooner the better and don’t let the door hit you on the way out!!!!!

    • Evelyn L. Ford

And guess who I think would be better as TNA President? JESSE VENTURA! Former wrestler! Better than Dixie Carter!!!!!!!!!!!!!
