Randy Orton suffered what is being described as a serious injury at Tuesday night’s SmackDown tapings. Orton suffered some sort of back injury during his match with Wade Barrett. Sources say it had to do with at least one of the discs in his back. No word on how severe the injury is as of this writing, but he could miss up to 6 months — which would take him out of WrestleMania.
WWE.com reported that Orton has been pulled from WWE’s upcoming live events, writing: “Due to an injury he sustained at SmackDown in Indianapolis, Randy Orton will be replaced by Sheamus in scheduled Street Fights against Wade Barrett at WWE live events this week.”
We hope to have some good news to report on this shortly.
