Referee Cam on Impact, Rumored TNA Bound For Glory Location, More

Posted by Matt Boone April 18, 2013 9 Comments

- There were 3,000 people in attendance for last Thursday’s TNA Impact Wrestling tapings from Corpus Christi, Texas but the event was heavily papered. This was the first of the tapings since they went on the road where advance ticket sales were weak.

- Dixie Carter announced on Twitter that this Thursday’s X Division match will feature a camera attached to the referee. She wrote:

“During this week’s #XDivision match, we experiment with a new camera attached to the ref to bring you closer to action!”

- Rumor has it that this year’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view in October will take place from San Diego, California but that’s not confirmed.

Not to be negative, but I’m sure the ref cam won’t help TNA ratings any. I’m convinced nothing can.

A lot of things could help TNA ratings, they are just not willing to do any of it.

I guess. It’s just that they have the same feuds going over and over again. They have nothing new. This whole thing with AJ is the best they have going at this moment.

Ive seen em use ref cams a couple of times in boxing and it adds an interesting perspective…not sure what it will do for an x division match though

Wish the ref cam was also in the Knockouts matches.

What if the ref gets knocked out? They’ll be watching the ground for 5 minutes

Hahahha hahahha that would be hilarious. They should do that.
