- Former WWE Champion The Rock recently spoke with Hot 97′s Peter Rosenberg about WrestleMania 29, his future with WWE and more.

Rock was asked if WrestleMania 29 may be his last match:

“Possibly, to be honest with you. The goal three years ago was I sat down with Vince McMahon and strategized about it, about three WrestleManias back to back. I committed myself to the company and I was very proud of that moment. It didn’t matter if I lost or I did the job, but it was an honor to do the honors. There is no better way to give back… then by doing the honors.”

Rock also confirms there were plans to build to a WrestleMania XXX match with Brock Lesnar but says he talked with Vince McMahon and Triple H the night of WrestleMania about his injury and it was agreed that he wouldn’t be on RAW the next night.

I figured after I heard he had to have surgery. Too bad we probably won’t see that Rock/Lesnar feud.
