Sean Waltman Predicts TNA Will Go Out Of Business

Sean “X-Pac” Waltman took to Twitter on Wednesday to vent on former employer TNA Wrestling. He directed his frustration toward organization president Dixie Carter’s account with a series of messages:

“Highly disappointed with you as a person who claims to care. More disappointed in your handling of the only alternative to WWE. Been meaning to tell you that since your Co. tried to make it look like I no showed your PPV.”

Waltman was scheduled for a tag team match at the 2010 Lockdown pay-per-view event, but was absent. On the night of the show, announcers were instructed to say that Waltman had no shown. He reportedly let organization officials know days in advance that he was not cleared to wrestle by the Missouri State Commission due to his hepatitis C diagnosis and was not going to be able to attend the event. He is now denying the story. Waltman explains:

“They knew I wouldn’t be there for over a week. They alluded that I no showed was bcuz I was on a drug binge. They lied to the PPL. The thing is that it’s easy to believe a story like that about me, which makes it even more of a low life move.”

When a Twitter user wrote to Waltman that if he wasn’t a “boozer and a fool,” he might still be employed by TNA, he responded:

“@TNADixie Had nothing to do with it. Plus are u serious w/ the crew they have there. Plus, I am sober & never cared 4 booze.”

Waltman then continued railing the organization’s upper hierarchy and made a stark prediction. He wrote:

“Im just sick of @TNADixie running around playing this benevolent role, when it’s a facade. BTW Congrats on hiring Bruce Pritchard. Perfect fit . Oine of the biggest lowlifes in the business. Treats ppl like shit if he can. Mark my words TNA will be a part of WWE’s video catalog before the decade is up. I dont hope. I just think it’s a matter of time. Unfortunately. I love the crew over there. Great guys, almost all of them.”

idk about tna being part of wwe’s video catalog. the only guys really worth a buyout on tna are jeff hardy, kurt angle, sting. maybe dixie can be a diva gm or w/e

Great point, Shawn. TNA is nothing more than an ego trip for Hogan. With him running things, it’s only headed six feet down into the ground. They made Waltman himself, along with many others look bad on camera… now it looks like Pritchard may upset people even more. If no one is happy at the end of the day, (and this is all theoretical on my part), then maybe Waltman’s prediction will come true.

shut up! you have no idea on how to run a wrestling company

X-Pac is saying some smart things here. I’m finding it harder and harder to watch Impact Wrestling every week (and this is coming from a TNA fan). The awesomeness of Bobby Roode, James Storm, AJ Styles, Chris Daniels, Bully Ray, and Austin Aries keeps me coming back, however…

TNA on WWE On Demand! Can you picture that?

Anyway, I remember when the phrase “TNA is better than WWE” is actually taken seriously and can sparkle flame wars. Now, you will be treated as a 12 year old troll for saying those words.

TNA is no where near building. It’s getting worse by the week. TNA was perfect the way it was before the changes in 2010. Now its just dying out step by step

      TNA SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WWE RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • Brett

WWE and TNA suck. WCW was and still is the best of all time. Ted Turner sold out and that screwed over all the wrestlers who worked theirasses off in WCW to get where they were as they had to start from the bottom of the pecking order in WWE. A big example of this is when The Rock asked Booker T “Who Are You?”. That was a lowlife low blow thing to do in all honesty as Booker T was already well known and a far greater wrestler by far than The Rock ever will be. Thus Booker T has his own wrestling organization. Get a clue people and realize that wrestling died when WCW died . . . Hopefully the WWE network will have all episodes of WCW Monday Nitro, WCW Thunder and WCW Saturday Night and possibly more WCW programming and WCW specials.
