Smackdown Rating, Indy Wrestler Kicked Out Of WWE Event

— Friday’s episode of WWE Smackdown did a 1.97 (2.0) cable rating with 2.9 million viewers. That’s up a touch from the last first-run airing two weeks ago, when the show did a 1.95. Last week was a re-run from the live show and did a 1.49 rating.

— Randy Orton vs. Kane will be the main event for this week’s SmackDown.

— Devon Nicholson, who competed as Hannibal on the Canadian independent wrestling circuit before retiring last year, posted a video of himself being thrown out of Saturday’s RAW live event at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa, Ontario. Nicholson was attempting to push an independent show scheduled for May 5, 2012 in Smiths Falls, Ontario that is being headlined by Scott Steiner. WWE had security personnel remove him from the premises prior to the show.

— The Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA has announced that the Rock will be at the 3/19 RAW. WWE has also added the Rock to the advertised listing for the show

— CM Punk & Triple H & Randy Orton vs. Dolph Ziggler & Chris Jericho & Cody Rhodes is set to headline the 3/18 WWE Madison Square Garden show. Also on the card…

* World champion Daniel Bryan vs. Mark Henry vs. Big Show
* John Cena vs. Kane Last Man Standing
* Miz vs. R-Truth
* Jack Swagger vs. Zack Ryder
* Also scheduled to appear are WWE Tag Team Champions Primo & Epico, Kelly Kelly, WWE Divas champion Beth Phoenix, Kofi Kingston, Hornswoggle, John Laurinaitis and more.
