Sting vs. Flair Confirmed, Mickie James Beats Trish’s Record, More

— It was announced this week on Impact Wrestling that Sting will face Ric Flair two weeks from now on the September 15. A stipulation is in place where Sting will receive a match against Hulk Hogan if he wins, but must leave wrestling if Flair wins.

— Mickie James beat Winter last night on iMPACT! Wrestling to capture the TNA Women’s Knockout Championship for the second time. It also marks as her eighth national title victory, breaking Trish Stratus’ record of seven for a woman.

— Speaking of Mickie James, she turned 32 years old this week. Jeff Hardy turned 34.

— TNA champion Kurt Angle has launched a site, documenting his training for the 2012 Olympic Wrestling Team. You can check out the site at kurtangle2012.com.
