The Rock has announced that he might be making his WWE return at this year’s Survivor Series PPV, as he Tweeted the following: “November 20th, 2011. MSG in NYC, The Rock brings it back to where it all began in 1996…Survivor Series! 15 years of smackdown”

WWE is reportedly already planning a media campaign for The Rock to promote his appearance at Survivor Series 2011 at Madison Square Garden. This would likely kick off a long heavy build up for The Rock vs. John Cena at WrestleMania in the spring.

The Rock originally competed at Survivor Series 1996, as Rocky Miavia.
