TNA Impact Wrestling Rating For This Week, Numbers Continue To Decline

The Thursday, August 8th taped edition of TNA Impact Wrestling on Spike TV drew a final cable rating of 0.96, according to Nielsen Media Research. The 0.96 number is down from the 1.03 figure that the live edition of show drew last Thursday night.

The show has declined each week since the “Destination-X” special edition of Impact Wrestling, which drew a 1.16 cable rating on July 18h. The following week, July 25th, the show drew 1.05. The week after that, August 1st, the show drew the aforementioned 1.03 number. And as mentioned, thiis week’s show continued the downward trend, coming in at a 0.96.

It will be interesting to see next week’s number, as the company will present the “Hardcore Justice” special edition of TNA Impact Wrestling.

This week’s Impact Wrestling averaged 1.179 million viewers, down approximately five percent from the 1.246 million viewers that the show drew last week.

Impact Wrestling ranked number 42 on cable television Thursday night. The show finished number 30 among males 18-34, and number 28 among males 14-49.

      thats what happens when women run wrestling companies… aka dixie carter and stephanie mcmahon .. they have no clue what guys 18-42 want and that is wrestlings key demographic

    I personally thought this Impact! was better than Raw. I actually like TNA better than WWE. Really hope TNA ratings improve and stays that way I don’t wanna just be stuck with WWE I want a little variety.

    We have to get people to watch tna because for some reason people like this pg crap that is wwe and saying yes every 5 mins we need to support tna.. With there great wrestling

      i agree with some things like the pg-ness of the wwe and i like some of the things that TNA does amd they have a decent core of talent i just feel like there is 0 actual direction in TNA. Its not always the talents fault it is just a horribly managed operation
