- Tonight’s WWE RAW takes place from the Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento, California. Confirmed for tonight’s show is the return of Vince McMahon for a State of WWE Address, the return of John Cena to confront CM Punk and the return of JBL to join Jim Ross and Michael Cole on commentary.

We also know that tonight’s Social Media Ambassador is Hollywood legend Arnold Schwarzenegger. Advertised locally is a match between CM Punk and Sheamus.

WWE is focusing on the following points for tonight:

* What’s next for Sheamus after losing last week on Main Event?

* Which Superstar will be the next to feel Antonio Cesaro’s Herculean strength?

* Will Kane and Daniel Bryan be able to stock bickering? What tag team will challenge for the titles?

* With Vince McMahon returning, General Manager AJ Lee will need the show to run as smooth as possible

* Is an official challenge from Ryback to CM Punk coming soon?

So vince’s giant ego thinks him and cena showing up on raw will boost ratings? I’m gonna laugh my ass off when ratings come in and are still at or under a 3.0, jets vs texans will/are gonna crush raw and leaving vince to realize he’s not a draw and he has to improve his product. Especially with the kane/bryan acting like 10 year olds, that is not entertaining that makes me change the channel. But if wwe cuz of vince gets over a 3.0 than I’ll admit I was wrong and call vince a genious ( but I doubt it will happen ).

I’m not sure if he’s a genius, but his appearances on Raw are rare enough now that he would be a draw. I do agree with you that he needs to improve the product. The “frienemies” tag champions bit is old.

Okay I’ll give you the rare appearances argument but to have vince think/say okay ratings are down so time for me to show up to improve ratings, that’s the most egotistical thing vince could say/think/do. Thus I hope ratings still suck and vince suffers a bruised ego. Instead of him showing up why doesn’t he think of angles to improve raw? I’m speculating but maybe cuaz he doesn’t have faith ( like he should ) in the next generation of talent, or cuz he can’t realize talent anymore, he is not a savior, he’s part of the problem.

I actually agree. While the strategic guest appearance can help boost ratings, the idea that he’s doing this does show a level of ego that is worrisome at least. I also agree that he’s part of the problem. He’s been forcing people to cater to his own whims for so long, the product has suffered.

The WWE is focused on “Antonio Cesaro’s Herculean strength” when they should be working on a feud between him and Brodus Clay to sell that strength better. He got a victory. Big deal. What happened to developing a character before shoving it down our throats?
