#3. Bray Wyatt
The Wyatt Family is one of the most unique factions I’ve seen in all of my years watching pro wrestling. They’re creepy as hell, odd as can be …and I love every bit of it. Without Bray Wyatt, it’s just two big bearded dudes who don’t talk. Bray gives the group it’s color. It’s flavor. He’s what makes it work. Wyatt is one of the most unique characters in the game today, and seeing is how the group is reportedly a pet project of Triple H, it’s going to receive a considerable amount of opportunities. No one denies Bray’s verbal ability, however many have pointed to his in-ring performances as lackluster. I’m not one of these people. His three-on-one handicap match with Daniel Bryan at the recent WWE TLC pay-per-view was outstanding. Those I’ve mentioned that to give all of the credit to Bryan. “Of course the match was awesome, they were in the ring with Daniel Bryan!” I’ve seen my fair share of wrestling matches, and one thing was clear to me when watching that match: Bray Wyatt more than carried his own. He’s got tremendous explosive bursts of offense. His speed for a guy his size is truly impressive, and that amateur wrestling bridge, or crab-walk, whatever you want to call it, is just plain awesome. He’s the total package, and if you ask me, Bray Wyatt is somebody to look out for in 2014.
#2. Roman Reigns
Is there a more obvious candidate for future Superstar than Roman Reigns? It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to look at Roman Reigns and see money. Lot’s of money. He comes from a great line of Samoan wrestlers, a truly legendary family, and himself is an accomplished athlete already. It’s a great foundation to build off of, and if the headlines are any indication, WWE has big plans for Reigns in 2014. Apparently the next WWE pay-per-view, which is the Royal Rumble show in January, will be one of the breakout events for the big boy of The Shield. According to reports, the plans for Reigns in the 2014 Rumble match “are even bigger than anyone would have thought.” WWE continues to tease the split of The Shield, and when it happens, Roman Reigns will begin his ascension through the ranks in WWE. As a fan, I can’t wait. I believe in The Shield, but I believe even more in Roman Reigns’ potential as a future WWE main event player. Roman Reigns is somebody to look out for in 2014.
