Triple H Offended By CM Punk, Backstage Talk Regarding Punk Changing

Posted by Matt Boone March 24, 2014 10 Comments

There is said to be a general feeling within WWE that while Triple H would likely never admit it publicly, he’s offended that CM Punk didn’t want to work with him at WrestleMania XXX. The mindset among many top WWE executives, including Triple H himself, is that working with him is a big deal.

Additionally, it should be noted that the attitude within WWE in regards to the CM Punk situation has changed. At first, many felt like Vince McMahon would eventually resolve the situation, however now the feeling is that Punk isn’t coming back anytime in the forseeable future. There’s also a feeling that WWE made Punk a lot of money and then he left.

Good thing the WWE doesn’t mistreat their talent…oh wait they do. There are too many wasted talents to name that have been screwed by the WWE over the years. Punk had it pretty good and fared better than many others, but I can see how he would be pissed taking a backseat to Batista. That and the fact that Cena and Orton seem untouchable.

well orton is untouchable bcuz he a legend. the best in the business. youngest champ of all time n current undisputed champ. punk had the longest modern reign yet thinks he needs to constantly be in the title picture. sorry doesnt work like that. Shit JTG is as good in the ring as Punk n doesnt even get matches n even HE is still with the company. Basically punk is just a cry baby

Orton is a great talent and thus deserves a better opponent than Batista. I was a huge fan of Batista back in the day though I was more than slightly annoyed that he won the Royal Rumble on his first night back. There is definitely more deserving talent on the roster that could have been given an opportunity against Orton. Punk is being a bit of baby I’m sure but I don’t know the whole story. I think Orton-Bryan-Punk would have been an epic match.

yea not gonna disagree with u there. The only time I even somewhat liked Batista was when he was apart of Evolution. That triple threat is def is a dream match of mine. That and the shield triple threat at wm 31. instant classics. Id rather have HHH champ for the 300th time over Batista.

WWE made CM Punk alot of money because CM Punk helped make WWE alot of money.

Punk is a huge loss to the WWE. I would love to see Jarrett’s new promotion to get some real backing and snag Punk. That would be awesome.

He should be offended. Like him or not, HHH is a big deal in the WWE. Punk’s just being a baby, like he always has been, crying when management doesn’t cater specifically to him. He wasn’t mistreated or screwed over, he was positioned at the top for a long time and paid very handsomely for it. Punk left and nothing of value was really lost.
