- We spoke to a couple WWE sources over the weekend that informed us The Undertaker has agreed to wrestle at WrestleMania XXX. WWE had been optimistic that he’d be wrestling on the anniversary show, but the official word came within the past week. With WrestleMania just over 3 months away, there is still so opponent locked in to challenge his streak.

- With his return to WWE imminent, Batista has been packing on a lot of muscle lately. As we’ve been reporting, the original plan for Batista was for him to make a surprise return at the Royal Rumble, with Dave Melzter reporting that Batista could very well win the Rumble and challenge Randy Orton for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania.  The deal was brokered by Triple H and even though he isn’t getting as sweet of a deal as Brock Lesnar, he is getting a very lucrative that include appearances at PPV’s, RAW & SmackDown tapings as well as WWE live events. This is said to be a ‘close to full time’ short-term that will keep him part of WWE storylines beyond WrestleMania XXX.

dean ambrose vs undertaker would be a good match for wrestlemania 30 because the shield attacked undertaker after his match on smackdown, it would lead to ambrose coming out with an arrogant attitude that he can defeat the streak and he is younger than undertaker saying undertaker is an old man who and he will make undertaker retire etc… This would also be a good match to push dean abrose even thought he would be losing the match, just wrestling undertaker at wrestlemania is enough to push ambrose

The sad thing about it, is that these storyline writers don’t have ideas like this.

        amrose over reigns lol

        • twet

that’s a no brainer, reigns couldn’t work a half an hour singles match let alone against taker in his age

      my thoughts exactly undertaker316

As long as it’s not Cena, then I’m fine. I definitely don’t want to see that because I feel a r they might actually let Cena end the streak. Personally though, I’d go with Ambrose, who could use the rub of facing Taker. But I suppose in the end, it’s up to Taker and who he wants to face.

It should be Taker vs Shield in a handicap match to officially split Shield up after a screw up costs them the match. I am actually excited to see Batista back as I have always been a huge fan of the Animal. I wonder how they will work him in.

I thought Taker agreed to work with Lesnar?

    • The Legend

I would like to see Undertaker (whenever it is going to be his final Wrestlemania) to fight whomever the champion is at the time. Win the title and retire with it.

This may require him to win the Royal Rumble if he is going to challenge for the title at WrestleMania – but it would be the best way to send a legend like him out.

        I totally agree

They didn’t do it with Shawn Micheals or Mick Foley don’t know why they’d do it with Taker.

Only 2 it makes sense for The Undertaker to put over: Daniel Bryan or Dean Ambrose. Otherwise pointless. Can Undertaker have an excellent & compelling WMXXX with anyone else. Not sure at his age. Final match can be a draw; still mulling this one over (thus undefeated but putting someone over). If this is his last match, he should go out in style with a victory over Lesnar, win/lose/draw vs Bryan or win/loss no DQ vs Ambrose w/Shield. Jericho mentioned that you don’t leave in celebration but you go out on your shield or just fade away. Might be the old school philosophy.

P.P. Johnny sees a possible Taker vs Batista match at WM XXX. It would rekindle an old feud.

Why not the last few matches Taker had a Wrestlemania involved him wrestling guys he either Wrestled at or outside of Wrestlemania.

    • Ryan5060

I think its great The Phenom came back but the question is…. This his last match and if it is, who’s the last opponent?!!!!??!???
My 5 picks Sting,John Cena,The Rock, BrockLesnar, Batista NO SHIELD OR ANY 2012- 2013 new comers Undertaker deserves to take on a legend LIKE if you agree
