The official WWE website has published a new article that confirms our earlier reports regarding an injury suffered during the WWE television taping on Tuesday night in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

WWE physician said Barrett “sustained an injury to his right shoulder when he was thrown into the barricade by .”

Amann continued, “After Barrett felt an immediate pain and a pop, we brought him back to the training room and the exam showed a separated shoulder. We’re going to do some additional testing this week and then sit down with him and talk about options for treatment for this injury.”

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins are in the match….. Not like he has a point to compete hes already champion and wouldnt win. Its gonna be either Ambrose or Rollins.

So since Daniel Bryan had to forfeit the title, does this mean Barrett has to as well, or is WWE gonna be a douche and say “naw Barrett can keep his title” I’d sure to scratch my head on that one

You’re comparing the World Title to the Intercontinental Title. How long did the IC title go undefended when Ambrose was the champ? It’s not as big a deal.
