STAMFORD, Conn. – WWE today unveiled their latest Superstar signing, Sin Cara, formerly known worldwide as Mistico. Being a WWE Superstar will present new challenges, new mountains to climb and new competition. It is a new beginning and a new life. With that in mind, I have chosen the new name of Sin Cara in hopes to represent all the legendary Mexican masked performers and to carry the banner of their legacy to the entire world.”

well he might not be buried seeing how he is a great talent and gives them more exposure in mexico. plus i mean look at dos caras jr who wrestles as alberto del rio he seems to be getting a nice push and he to is known around mexico like mistico is.

I don’t know, WWE seems to realize that Mistico is a big deal, a press conference surrounding his signing is a lot bigger than anyone else gets when they sign with WWE. I think they’re going to give him a good push.

I could see mistico becoming tagg team partner with mysterio.those 2 would be phenomonal together and even as opponents or attacking del rio together

More like Reys replacement, can’t see him lasting much longer..

        • Dhilip Amaresan

Thats right wwe officials are sure that rey is not gonna renew his contract after this winter so they just want to replace his legacy and where mistico(Sin cara) comes in….

    • Hobble

I don’t think they’ll use Mistico as a replacement for Rey, that just seems incredibly arrogant for anyone to think they can just replace one masked luchador for another and no one will notice a difference. Mysterio and Mistico are two different wrestlers, and though it may not be apparent to everyone they have two distinct styles of wrestling.
