WWE Employees Assigned To Watch TNA, WWE Promotes CM Punk’s TV Appearance

- To correct a report from last week on WWE opening Raw broadcasts with a man narrating video packages after Vince McMahon was shown a tape of TNA Wrestling’s Impact Wrestling show, he was actually informed of the concept by an employee and upon being intrigued, immediately concluded that his company could do it better. It was noted that if he had actually watched an Impact Wrestling opening, he probably would have been embarrassed with WWE blatantly copying an idea from TNA.

Multiple members of WWE’s creative staff—more their assistants—are assigned to watch tapes of TNA, Ring of Honor and WWE’s NXT, and file a report on its contents. There are other employees who work in the same capacity as consultants for the company.

Though some creative writers joined WWE with no knowledge of professional wrestling whatsoever, there are some who were prior fans.

– The official WWE website is now promoting CM Punk’s scheduled appearance on Talking Dead this Sunday night at at 11 p.m. on AMC, a live talk show that discusses episodes of the popular The Walking Dead drama series.

Yesterday on Twitter, Punk vented on WWE not promoting his talk show appearance nor his return home to Chicago tomorrow as Official Grand Marshal of the McDonald’s Thanksgiving Parade. He wrote, “Yes, I will be on @AMCTalkingDead on Sunday. Shocking how WWE didn’t promote it or get AMC the proper materials in time to announce it. I will also be the Grand Marshall in the Chicago turkey day parade. Also not announced or promoted by “my” company. Shocking. This is what happens when you go over everyone’s head to hustle and acquire your own outside appearances. #disrespect.”

You’d think wwe could hire competant writers that could come up with their own ideas, guess not. So there’s proof wwe rips off tna, told you so. And for all those that will make excuses that everybody rips off everybody, yeah whatever. But I bet tna,roh and other companies don’t hire or have employees watch wwe to blatently rip them off. Isn’t this kind of what happened to wcw right before they ended? Just saying.

Really? If TNA blatantly rips WWE off its fine but when WWE takes an idea and do something better its bad? Don’t give that BS, People in TNA obviously take note on the things WWE does. Have some wrestling knowledge as well. WCW died because of many reasons, with the main reasons being poor booking, backstage politics and the failure to create new and much younger stars.

Another wwe apoligist getting their panties in a bunch. So when has there been an article on a wrestling site that said tna blatently copied wwe? When has dixie actually come out and say that wwe idea, we can do that better? Tna brought in ex wwe wrestlers more than stole wwe ideas, not saying tna never ripped wwe off but they took ex talent more than ideas. As for wwe they have millions more dollars than any other promotion you’d think they could afford writers with fresh and original ideas. But for some reason they take the cheap, easy way and just rip off/copy tna. And blatently means obvious tna has never blatently ripped off wwe. Have they, yes, but not blatently. As for wcw you made my argument for me. One of the many reasons wcw failed was because of trying to copy wwe and the poor booking could be the same thing. They booked matches similar to wwe. There’s the knowledge bro. Bottom line wwe has way more money than any other promotion to have to resort to ripping off/copying a lesser wrestling promotion. Vince is just taking the cheaper, lazier approach to ( try ) to fix his company. Time for vince to go. At least 5 years of wwe being stale should be unacceptable to wwe fans yet they make excuse after excuse.

Than why are you talking and thinking about tna? And what does that say about wwe if wwe is copying what tna does? Idiot!!!! YOU SUCK!!!!
