WWE Hell In A Cell Kickoff Show

The Kickoff Show opens with the expert panel running down some of tonight’s top matches. The expert panel consists of Josh Mathews, Dolph Ziggler, R-Truth and Kaitlyn.

From there we head to Renee Young in the Social Media Lounge. She plugs some of tonight’s social media stuff, such as Twitter, Facebook, etc. Young announces that there is a poll over at WWE.com, as tonight they want to crown a “Mr. Hell In A Cell.” The options are The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Randy Orton and Mick Foley.

Backstage, Vickie Guerrero is shown walking and The Miz approaches her. Miz says he wants Bray Wyatt in a match tonight. Guerrero says Miz is not medically cleared so she can’t sanction the match for him. Miz says if she can’t make the match, then he guesses that means there’s gonna have to be a fight. Guerrero asks what that means as Miz walks away.

We go back to the expert panel, where Big E. Langston joins the guys. They talk about his match with Curtis Axel being canceled as a loud, random “Yes!” chant breaks out from the fans already in attendance at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida.

After we see some fans filing in the arena in Miami, we expert panel run down some more matches for tonight. They reveal that the triple-threat match for the WWE Tag-Team Championship will open the pay-per-view portion of tonight’s Hell In A Cell show.

From there, we go to a special live backstage interview with The Shield. One-by-one, the guys complain about having to beat two tag-teams to win back the titles tonight, instead of just one. They talk about Big Show sticking his nose in their business constantly. They all hit their catchphrases, but then Big E. Langston cuts them off. He talks about Dean Ambrose always making things unfair in their regular matches. Langston then challenges Ambrose to a match for the WWE United States Championship tonight. Ambrose turns him down. Langston asks what the problem is, noting that he’s just a rookie. Ambrose says he doesn’t deserve it. Langston continues to push for it and Ambrose finally accepts. So we have a Big E. Langston vs. Dean Ambrose WWE U.S. Title match added to tonight’s show.

Here is our first photo of the evening, courtesy of our live correspondant at the American Airlines Arena. This is a photo of John Cena’s brand new t-shirt, which is available in the merchandise stands throughout the arena tonight in Miami.

Damien Sandow vs. Kofi Kingston

The Hell In A Cell Kickoff Show heads to announce team of Michael Cole, JBL and Jerry “The King” Lawler. The trio introduces us to the first match of the evening: Damien Sandow vs. Kofi Kingston as the solo Kickoff Show match for tonight. We go to the ring and out comes Damien Sandow. He cuts a promo and mentions John Cena’s return. Kofi Kingston is out next. They go at it to start the match as soon as the bell rings. After a minute or so of action, we head to a mid-match commercial break.

We return from commercial and Sandow is in control of the offense at the moment. Sandow hits his elbow drop for a nearfall. Sandow keeps Kofi grounded and slams him into the mat. Sandow with an abdominal stretch now. Sandow goes to the top but Kofi cuts him off and sends him to the mat. Kofi makes a comeback with chops and a dropkick. Kofi with the big right hand and a Boom Drop. Sandow ducks Trouble In Paradise. Kofi blocks a back drop and kicks Sandow in the head. Kofi springboards in with a crossbody and covers for 2. We see Rey Mysterio on the Spanish commentary team tonight. Kofi with another springboard in for a nearfall. The finish comes when Sandow pins Kingston after hitting him with a big slam move.

Winner: Damien Sandow

Here are two more photos. Firstly, the entrance way for the American Airlines Arena for tonight’s Hell In A Cell.

Our next photo is of the ring and the Hell In A Cell structure hanging above the ring.

So far pretty crappy. Can’t believe I have hope for the Divas match. Hoping for Brie osmosized by Danielson to create a great match. I know Danielson can finish the show well but outside of the Tag match, this has been slightly better than good Raw and not $54.99 worth. I believe in Bryan and have some faith in the booking. They’ll need to sell me on the lesser PPV’s through tonight’s finale!

      • DeepthroatGhoul

Well, I said that AJ Lee was booked like a fighting champion, and she definately proved it by retaining against Brie. Hopefully, we can all get set for AJ vs. Nattie Neidhart at Survivor Series.

    • charley ramirez

Surprise, Surprise. Cena has taken another championship from a hard working wrestler.

      • archit

del rio is NOT a HARDWORKING wrestler

I guess charley ramirez no balls just admitted to the world that he is gay. Not that there`s anything wrong with that

          • charley ramirez

It was a direct reply to the username this guy changed too. It’s funny he took time out of his day to change it.

    • anthony gann

No cena is a 14 time champion he broke hhh record

      • Guest

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Nice to see I officially have a Hater. You made my day. ;)

    • MsBareBottom

Wow never seen that coming from Shawn NOT. No wonder WWE is losing fans at a record rate

    • Harms_Way

No surprise with Cena becoming the champion. But with the hell in a cell match, I had a feeling HHH would sway HBK to do something to screw Daniel Bryan out of it. I mean, WWE can’t afford to screw him out of the title again should he have won.

    • the miz

everytime cena returns from injury he ends up being a champion.. which kinda suuckss.. but i hope sandow cashes in tomorrow..

    • death2you

So cena wins the title from a true champion… & orton wins over a screw job! these paperviews are getting so lame… TRIPLE-H is killing the business!

      • Uncle Phill

        • Dr Phil

I haven’t watched WWE in two months. Looks like I won’t be starting anytime soon.

      • Ice

Atleast Hell In A Cell actually had a crowd, since BFG was completely empty

      • sudheesh

        go home u sucker!!!…madarchod !!!

    • ???

I loved when orton beat d-bry the whole place went quiet and i just laughed while chanting YES YES YES

    • chrissi calvert

Cena sucks. He just walks back into the company after an injury & walks out with gold. YAWN. Predictable WWE, try thinking outside the box for once. Orton wins by screw job, thats not whats “Best for Business” as HHH would say.

    • George Flegel

So lame that Cena is champ again. I am not surprised though as they always seem to give him the belt, sort of what like the treatment Orton seems to get lately.
