WWE Hell In A Cell 2013

The typical amazing video package airs to officially open the pay-per-view portion of tonight’s show. A history of the Hell In A Cell match is shown with several current and past WWE Superstars talking about how dangerous the match is. As soon as the package wraps up, we head right to the ring for our first match of the pay-per-view, which as advertised during the Kickoff Show earlier, is the triple-threat match for the WWE Tag-Team Championship.

WWE Tag-Team Titles:
-Cody Rhodes & Goldust (c) vs. Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns vs. The Uso’s

The WWE Tag-Team Champions, Cody Rhodes and Goldust, come out first. Our next are The Uso’s, followed by Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns of The Shield, who come out through the crowd as usual. The former Tag-Team Champions are not accompanied by Dean Ambrose, who as revealed during the Kickoff Show earlier tonight, will be defending his WWE United States Championship against Big E. Langston tonight at Hell In A Cell. All the guys brawl to start this match off. Eventually, things settle down and we have an actual match going on now. The crowd is explosively hot for this one already.

They mention on commentary before the match that there will be three men in the ring at all times. Apparently that is not the case, as two guys have been working at a time so far. Anyways, Goldust builds some offense and tags in Cody Rhodes. There’s a double team on Rhodes followed by a face-first suplex into the mat. A one count for Cody as Jimmy tags in. He rolls the champion up and gets a quick cover. Cody kicks out twice at two as the babyfaces play to the crowd.

Jimmy looks focused, he locks Cody up belly-to-back. He goes for a hip toss but settles for a scoop and a slam. Quick cover on Rhodes. Goldust tags himself in. Jey tags in after Jimmy hits a little offense. It’s Jey and Goldust in the ring, Rollins and Reigns waiting in the wings. Goldust hits right hands on Jey Uso as Roman Reigns goes to the outside and pulls Goldust to the out with him. It’s Reigns and Goldust as Reigns had tagged in. Quick two count for Reigns as Rollins tags in. It’s Rollins and Goldust as the two Shield members show great teamwork. Seth Rollins works on Goldust from the outside, kicking him in the head.

Rollins gets back in and gets a two count. It’s all Rollins as he isolates Goldust in his corner. Roman Reigns picks up right where his partner left off. Reigns applies a headlock and the referee checks for submission or to count. Goldust gets to his feet from the roar of the crowd. Back-slide into a pin for a two count. Reigns follows up with an elbow and a two count. Reigns almost had him as he works the babyface over in the ring. Rollins and Reigns have been dominant up to this point.

Headbutt from Reigns onto Goldust. The crowd chants ‘Goldust’ and he fights out of the corner with right hands. Goldust goes to tag Cody by Reigns pulls him back and gets yet another two count. Reigns is in control of the match as the Usos have been bystanders. Finally, Goldust counters with a DDT. Both men are down but Reigns is up first. Rollins tagged in and he kicks Rhodes off the apron. Goldust counters with a back-body drop but Cody is on the outside. Rollins tags Reigns as Goldust is gassed in the corner. Goldust flips Reigns out of the ring. The Usos both want in and try to get Goldust to tag them. The Shield takes care of them on the outside. Sidewalk slam from Reigns onto Goldust but Cody Rhodes gets into the ring to make the save. The referee makes Rhodes gets back. Now it’s Goldust and Roman Reigns in the ring. He whips Goldust into the corner and points at Cody in dismay.

Reigns trash talks Goldust, calling him ‘old man.’ This finally leads to a counter and Goldust puts Reigns on the mat. Which way will Goldust go? He tags in Cody Rhodes. He goes off the top rope with a missile dropkick. Rollins tags in and Cody has all the offense. Moonsault into a two count by Cody, a sensational spot! Cody has the crowd going, he pumps them up again but Rollins tries to counter. Cody stays in control and misses the disaster tag. The Usos tagged in. It’s Jimmy Uso and Seth Rollins. The crowd is behind Uso as he gets a cover and the match has broken down after a two count from The Usos. The Usos cleans house and one of them hits a suicide div. Rollins and one of the Usos are the legal men. Two count as Rollins kicks out. Rhodes finally tags in off one of the Usos. It’s Rollins and Rhodes with everyone else dazed and out of it. Rollins sets Cody up on the top rope. He goes for some offense. Right hands from Rollins, Cody counters with rights of his own. They’re both on the top rope as Cody superplexes Rollins to the outside onto Goldust, Reigns and The Usos. Incredible spot, wow! Rollins returns the match to the ring and there’s a two count on Cody. Now there is an Uso in but he eats a spear from Reigns. Rollins and Rhodes are still the legal men as The Shield clears the Usos out. It’s Rhodes and Rollins once again. The finish comes when Goldust causes a distraction, allowing his brother to his his finishjer on Rollins for the 1-2-3. The Rhodes Brothers retain the titles.

Winners and STILL WWE Tag-Team Champions: Cody Rhodes & Goldust

Backstage Segment: Triple H & Shawn Michaels

Backstage, we see the WWE COO Triple H and his best-friend, the special guest referee for tonight’s Hell In A Cell main event for the vacant WWE Championship, Shawn Michaels, chatting a bit.

In-Ring Segment: The Miz, The Wyatt Family & KANE RETURNS!

Back live inside the arena and The Miz makes his way out to the ring. Miz talks about how Bray Wyatt always says to “follow the buzzards,” so he tells him to get out here and fight him. Bray Wyatt appears on the titantron. Bray calls Miz “hollywood” and tells him to please understand that his words mean nothing to him. The lights go out, and Erick Rowan and Luke Harper appear in the ring when the lights come back on. They attack The Miz.

A loud “we want Kane” chant breaks out in the American Airlines Arena, and almost right on cue, the fire-pyro explodes and out comes Kane, who makes his WWE return in Miami. Kane comes to the ring and cleans house of Rowan and Harper. Both members of The Wyatt Family retreat to the back. Standing in the ring still, Kane turns his attention to Miz. He grabs Miz by the throat and chokeslams him. He raises his hands and the fire-pyro explodes around the ring to end the segment.

Fandango & Summer Rae vs. The Great Khali & Natalya

Out come both Fandango and Summer Rae. Fandango gets on the mic once he enters the ring. He talks about how people in Miami think they know how to Salsa-dance. He says there’s only one master of the Salsa-dance, and his name is Fandango. He is interupted by The Great Khali’s music. Out comes Khali and Natalya, who will be facing Fandango and Summer Rae in a mixed-tag-team match right now. Michael Cole points out that this is Summer Rae’s WWE in-ring debut and talks about how Summer and Natalya have been going back-and-forth trashing each other on Twitter recently.

Fandango and Khali will start things off for their respective teams. Khali takes control and sends Fandango across the ring. Khali follows for a big chop in the corner. Summer comes in and argues with Khali, which brings Natalya in. Summer charges, they lock up and go at it. They run the ropes and Summer hip tosses Natalya. Hornswoggle mocks Fandango. Fandango grabs him but Khali makes the save. Khali brings Fandango in the ring over the top rope. Fandango dropkicks Khali’s leg and starts working it over. Fandango taunts Natalya and dodges a slap from her. He turns around to a big shot from Khali. Fandango runs into a big boot and goes back down. Fandango slides out of a big slam and tags in Summer. She dances and tries to distract Khali. Natalya comes in and slaps her to the mat. Natalya with a suplex and a sitdown slam. More back and forth. Natalya with a kick and an Anvil clothesline. This leads to the finish, which saw Natalya attempt a Sharpshooter on Summer Rae. However, Summer managed to block the submission attempt and roll Natalya up for the 1-2-3. Fandango and Summer Rae get the win.

So far pretty crappy. Can’t believe I have hope for the Divas match. Hoping for Brie osmosized by Danielson to create a great match. I know Danielson can finish the show well but outside of the Tag match, this has been slightly better than good Raw and not $54.99 worth. I believe in Bryan and have some faith in the booking. They’ll need to sell me on the lesser PPV’s through tonight’s finale!

    • DeepthroatGhoul

Well, I said that AJ Lee was booked like a fighting champion, and she definately proved it by retaining against Brie. Hopefully, we can all get set for AJ vs. Nattie Neidhart at Survivor Series.

  • charley ramirez

Surprise, Surprise. Cena has taken another championship from a hard working wrestler.

        • charley ramirez

It was a direct reply to the username this guy changed too. It’s funny he took time out of his day to change it.

    • Guest

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Nice to see I officially have a Hater. You made my day. ;)

  • MsBareBottom

Wow never seen that coming from Shawn NOT. No wonder WWE is losing fans at a record rate

  • Harms_Way

No surprise with Cena becoming the champion. But with the hell in a cell match, I had a feeling HHH would sway HBK to do something to screw Daniel Bryan out of it. I mean, WWE can’t afford to screw him out of the title again should he have won.

  • the miz

everytime cena returns from injury he ends up being a champion.. which kinda suuckss.. but i hope sandow cashes in tomorrow..

  • death2you

I loved when orton beat d-bry the whole place went quiet and i just laughed while chanting YES YES YES

  • chrissi calvert

Cena sucks. He just walks back into the company after an injury & walks out with gold. YAWN. Predictable WWE, try thinking outside the box for once. Orton wins by screw job, thats not whats “Best for Business” as HHH would say.

  • George Flegel

So lame that Cena is champ again. I am not surprised though as they always seem to give him the belt, sort of what like the treatment Orton seems to get lately.
