PWInsider.com reports that WWE will be pushing back the launch of their WWE Network cable channel until Fall 2012. It was originally supposed to launch on April 4th, the day of WrestleMania 28.
The delay comes after reports of WWE insiders being worried about not having enough clearance by the original April 4th launch date, and the network being labeled as a flop in it’s infancy stages. WWE didn’t want to push the network launch back, but felt that it was best for the network’s long-term success.
Despite the delay, production on planned WWE Network shows is still going ahead as usual.
