Parking Lot: Evolution Arrives

In the parking lot, we see a stretch limo pull up. Out first pops Batista. Then Triple H. And finally, Randy Orton. “Evolution is next” is shown as we head to another commercial break.

Evolution & The Shield

When we return from commercial, Evolution’s music hits as Randy Orton, Triple H and Batista make their way to the ring.

Triple H begins talking first, and he has lost his voice at some point. He talks about The Shield saying they were the baddest people in the world until one day their “daddy” came out and spanked them in front of the world. He says that’s just the beginning.

Randy Orton speaks next, saying one mistake led to the destruction of The Shield and that is the reformation of the most dominant faction in history, Evolution. He says in case we forgot and then a video package showing the history of Evolution airs.

When the video package concludes, Batista asks if we’re starting to get it now. He asks if things are becoming clear. He says The Shield has no idea what they’ve gotten themselves into. He finishes by saying, “Deal with that.” With that said, The Shield’s music hits.

The Shield make their way to the ring through the crowd. Meanwhile, Evolution backs off, exits the ring and backs up the ramp. Dean Ambrose says last week wasn’t the first time they’ve been beaten up, and it probably won’t be the last. Ambrose asks HHH if they look humbled to him. He says there’s a reason they hired them to protect their little “creampuff” Randy Orton.

Seth Rollins speaks next and tells Ambrose to take it easy. He says, however, they do have the right to be angry after what Evolution did last week. He says well, Evolution and 12 other guys, of course. Rollins says they know exactly what they’ve gotten themselves into. Rollins says they’re standing up in there in their little suits and he knows they don’t want to fight. He says in two weeks at Extreme Rules, they’re going face-to-face with the hounds of justice. He says it’s going to be an all-out war.

Roman Reigns is last to speak. He says last week you gave us an ultimatim. He says this week, they’re giving them one. He says he’s gonna drop this mic in a second and they’re gonna come beat their asses. He says they’ve got two options. They can try to fight like men or they can be creampuffs and cower and run and hide. He says “watch.” He drops the mic and all three head out of the ring and up the ramp. As they do, all of the heels who beat them down prior to Evolution coming out all come out on stage. HHH reiterates that in life you either adapt, or you perish and that’s evolution. Evolution’s music hits. We head to a commercial.

The Usos vs. Goldust & Cody Rhodes

The WWE Tag-Team Champions The Usos make their way to the ring. On commentary is the team of Ryback and Curtis Axel. As The Usos make their way to the ring, we see highlights of Jimmy Uso and Naomi’s wedding from last night’s Total Divas. After the video package, Goldust and Cody Rhodes, their opponents for tonight, make their way to the ring.

The bell rings and Jey Uso and Goldust start things off for their respective teams. Both men lock up to start. Goldust hits the ropes and nails an atomic drop followed by some arm drags. Jey comes back with an arm drag of his own. Goldust and Jey shove each other. Goldust lands a straight right hand, and Jey comes back with one. Goldust hits a clothesline and tags in Cody.

Cody hits a springboard drop kick and covers for a two count. Cody locks in a wrist lock. Jey fights back to his feet and tags in Jimmy. Jimmy hangs Cody up on the top rope and covers for a two count. Jimmy locks in a rear chin lock. Cody fights back to his feet and hits an uppercut. Goldust now tags in. Jimmy hits an armdrag and tags in Jey. Goldust takes Jey down and slams his arm on the ground. Goldust hits the ropes and hits his drop down uppercut. Cody tags in and rolls Jey up, but Jey tags in Jimmy. Cody goes for his finisher, but Jimmy Uso blasts him with a super kick. 1-2-3. The Usos win.

Winners: The Usos

After The Match

Cody Rhodes is upset about how things went down, so he leaves the ring angry. Goldust chases after him. Meanwhile, Ryback and Curtis Axel leave the commentary table and beat up The Usos in the ring. We head to commercial.

Layla (with Fandango) vs. Santino Marella (with Emma)

When we return from commercial, Fandango and Layla are finishing up their ring entrance. Out next is Santino Marella and Emma.

The bell rings for this Divas one-on-one contest and here we go. Layla attacks Emma from behind to kick things off. She rubs Emma’s face into the mat. Layla covers and gets a two count. Layla now chokes Emma on the middle rope. Layla hits a snapmare and locks in a surfboard stretch.

Emma fights to her feet and lands a knee to get separation. Emma tries a drop kick but Layla holds on to the ropes. Emma hits the ropes and hits a big clothesline. Emma now pulls out a pink Cobra out of her boot and hits the Cobra on Layla. She pins her and gets the 1-2-3. After the match, Emma and Santino play around with their “Cobras.”
