WWE RAW Results – February 10, 2014

Santino Marella (with Emma) vs. Fandango (with Summer Rae)

Santino Marella’s music hits and he and Emma come out and power-walk to the ring together. Michael Cole says Santino is in action against Fandango next. We head to another commercial break. When we return from commercial, Fandango and Summer Rae are finishing up their entrance, as they dance around the ring together.

The bell sounds and Santino stalks Fandango. Santino takes him down early and then plays to the crowd. Moments later, Fandango nails Santino in the back to take over control of the offense. A random “JBL” chant breaks out as Fandango stomps away at Santino in the ring. The Miz storms out to the commentary table and complains about not being scheduled for action again this week.

Meanwhile, back in the ring, Santino is fighting his way back into his match with Fandango. Just as he gets some offense strung together, Fandango cuts him short. Fandango hits his big top-rope leg drop on Santino for the 1-2-3. Fandango wins.

Backstage: Sheamus

We go backstage with the newest member of the WWE broadcast team, Byron Saxton. Saxton is joined by Sheamus. He mentions his tag-team match later tonight with Christian against The Real Americans, noting that his partner tonight is one of his opponents at the Elimination Chamber. Sheamus says the Elimination Chamber is the last chance for someone to earn the opportunity to be in the main event at WrestleMania XXX. As he finishes his promo, Michael Cole says he and Christian against The Real Americans is up next. We head to commercial.

Sheamus & Christian vs. The Real Americans

When we return from commercial, Christian is in the ring finishing his entrance. We see a pre-recorded split-screen interview from earlier today with Christian. He talks about all the discussion lately of who the face of the WWE. Sheamus’ music hits and out he comes for this tag-team contest. Once Sheamus’ entrance ends, The Real American’s music hits and out comes Antonio Cesaro, Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter. Colter says the two non-Americans (Christian and Sheamus) in the ring make him sick. He talks about how the two stayed at home licking their wounds for months and then found a way to sneak back into our country. He says they were then rewarded for it by getting a shot in the Elimination Chamber. Colter says this man may have something to say about that. He hands the mic to Cesaro. The crowd pops pretty big for Cesaro. He talks about his intentions to become the champion after the Elimination Chamber.

Cesaro and Swagger make it to the ring and the bell sounds to kick this one off. Colter is overheard telling Swagger to get out of the ring and let Cesaro start things off. Christian and Cesaro start things off as a “we the people” chant breaks out from the fans in the Staples Center. Cesaro beats up Christian a bit early on and then tags Swagger into the match. Christian immediately turns the tables and beats up Swagger a bit before tagging Sheamus in.

Sheamus takes the tag and picks up where Christian left off. Sheamis is having his way with Swagger for a bit until Swagger tags Cesaro back in. The crowd pops pretty big for Cesaro getting tagged back in. Sheamus gets control of Cesaro and then tags Christian in. Christian does a move or two and then tags Sheamus back in.

Cesaro starts fighting back on Sheamus. The two trade punches. Everytime Sheamus lands, the crowd boo’s. Everytime Cesaro lands, the crowd cheers. Cesaro knocks Sheamus to the floor. We head to a mid-match commercial on that note. When we return from commercial, Cesaro is working Sheamus over and the crowd still seems strongly behind Cesaro. Sheamus quickly turns the tide and tags Christian back in.

Christian takes the tag and quickly goes to work on Sheamus with a variety of offensive attacks. Christian goes for the Killswitch but Cesaro avoids it. Cesaro finally tags Swagger back in. Swagger picks up where Christian left off and goes to work on him. Swagger hits a Swagger bomb on Christian and then Cesaro tags himself back in. Cesaro gets Christian in the Cesaro Swing and the crowd explodes. Cesaro swings Christian about seven or eight times.

Christian rolls out to the floor to recover. Christian barely makes it back in the ring before the ten count, but does. Swagger tags in and powerslams Christian. Swagger quickly tags Cesaro back in. Both guys make the tag and now Sheamus and Swagger are in. Sheamus is fired up on offense and is throwing Swagger all over the place. Sheamus calls for the Brogue Kick. Cesaro attacks Sheamus, allowing Swagger to apply the Patriot Lock. Christian breaks that up, allowing Sheamus to hit Swagger with the Brogue Kick. 1-2-3.

Backstage: John Cena

Backstage, Renee Young is with John Cena. She asks him about his long-standing history with Randy Orton and their match tonight. Cena says WWE has been dominated by two names for a decade — himself and Orton. Cena says in the past several months you can tell by the audience reaction that we’re in the midst of a change. Cena talks about the WWE Network coming and says the crowd is getting behind Daniel Bryan and some others. Cena says tonight he closes his rivalry with Randy Orton and he’s going to beat him. He says the next statement is to Antonio Cesaro, Daniel Bryan and The Wyatt Family. He says if any of those guys think they have what it takes to carry the WWE, they have to go through him. We head to commercial.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Alberto Del Rio

When we return from commercial, we see the 30-second fury clip from WWE’s YouTube channel featuring Batista. Dolph Ziggler’s music hits and out he comes. Before he can even get in the ring, Alberto Del Rio’ music hits and out he comes. Before the camera switched to Del Rio, we could see Ziggler looking disappointed that his entrance was cut short. As Del Rio makes his way to the ring, we see highlights of his showdown with Batista from last week’s RAW.

The bell rings and Del Rio immediately goes to work on Ziggler with punches. Ziggler hits Del Rio with a picture-perfect dropkick and then drops a ton of elbows on him. JBL, of course, makes a reference to Jerry Lawler’s heart attack during this spot. Ziggler hits the FameAsser on Del Rio out of nowhere but Del Rio manages to kick out of the follow-up pin attempt. A “let’s go Ziggler” chant breaks out in the Staples Center. Del Rio hits a big superkick to Ziggler seconds later. 1-2-3. That was quick.

After The Match

After the match, Del Rio slaps Ziggler in the Cross Armbreaker. He refuses to let go until Batista’s music hits. Batista comes out in his ring gear and spears Del Rio. The crowd boo’s Batista like crazy. They fight out to the floor. Batista sets a up the Spanish announce table. The crowd cheers briefly and then starts boo’ing him again. Batista hits Del Rio with a big Batista Bomb through the table. The crowd pops for that. Batista’s music hits and that’ll do it.
