When we return from commercial, a Ron Simmons “Black History Month” video package airs.

Renee Young Interviews John Cena

Backstage, Renee Young is with John Cena. She talks about Cena squaring off against Cesaro later tonight. Cena talks again about some promising new WWE Superstars and how if they want to prove they’re the next generation, they need to go through him to prove it. With that being said, Cena says Cesaro can prove it tonight by going through him. Cena’s music hits and he walks off and heads out to the arena.

John Cena vs. Cesaro

Cena’s little message to the camera is “it’s fighting time,” or something to that effect. He sprints to the ring, tosses the hat to the crowd, etc. It’s time for the Cena vs. Cesaro match here tonight on RAW, folks! We head to a commercial during Cena’s entrance. When we return from commercial, Cena is finishing up his entrance. Michael Cole plugs Cena on the “Steve Austin Show” podcast, which he announces comes out tomorrow.

Cesaro’s theme music hits and out he comes. Michael Cole talks about Ron Simmons trending number one overall worldwide on Twitter right now. Swagger and Colter pat Cesaro on the back as he heads into the ring for this one-on-one match against Cena.

The bell rings and here we go. A dueling “let’s go Cena” and “Cena sucks” chant breaks out from the fans in Denver. Cesaro and Cena trade headlocks and Cena ends up grounding The Real American member as we see Swagger and Colter looking on from outside the ring. Cena gets the better of Cesaro so Cesaro rolls out to the floor to recover.

When Cesaro comes back into the ring another very loud “let’s go Cena” and “Cena sucks” chant breaks out. Cena continues to go to work on Cesaro. Cesaro is fighting back now. Cesaro is now in control of the offensive flow of the match. Cesaro nails Cena with a big tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for a near fall and then does the “we the people” thing.

Cesaro continues to dominate Cena, attempting a number of quick near falls but never getting the three count. The fans rally behind Cena a bit as Cesaro continues to control him in this one-on-one contest. Cena slows Cesaro’s momentum with a huge flying neckbreaker for a near fall of his own. Cesaro cuts Cena’s offensive comeback short and goes to work on him outside the ring. On that note, we head to a mid-match commercial.

When we return from commercial, Cesaro is beating up Cena in the ring. He hits a big slam-style move on Cena for another near fall. Cena manages to kick out at two and a half. Cena starts fighting back, but Cesaro slows him down with a big sleeper hold. Cena fights out of it but Cesaro cuts his comeback attempt short with a huge clothesline.

Out of nowhere, Cesaro goes for the Cesaro Swing on Cena, but Cena reverses it into his STFU submission hold. Cesaro quickly escapes and powers Cena into a big gut-wrench-type slam. Cesaro bullies Cena into the corner and batters him with European uppercuts. Cena fights back and slams Cesaro down. Cena calls for the 5 Knuckle Shuffle. “You can’t see me.” He hits it.Cena goes for the A.A. but Cesaro avoids it.

Cesaro launches Cena up in the air and blasts him on the way down with a big European uppercut. A light “this is awesome” chant breaks out from the fans in Denver. The chant gains momentum and most in the arena are chanting it now. Cesaro goes for the Cesaro Swing again but Cena again counters, this time countering into a big DDT. Cena goes to the top rope but Cesaro blasts him with a European uppercut, knocking Cena all the way to the floor.

Cesaro climbs to the middle rope as Cena gets on the apron. From the apron, Cesaro hoists Cena all the way up for a superplex. Awesome stuff. He tries pinning Cena but Cena manages to kick out at two. Out of nowhere, Cena slaps Cesaro in the STFU. Cesaro makes it to the ropes but Cena yanks him to the middle of the ring. Cesaro reverses Cena into his Cesaro Swing, and this time he gets it. He swings Cena about ten times for a near fall, but Cena again finds a way to kick out at two.

Another loud “this is awesome” chant breaks out. Cesaro goes for the Neutralizer but Cena reverses it into an A.A. attempt. Cesaro escapes that. Cesaro goes for a move but Cena reverses into another A.A. attempt. He hits it this time. 1-2-3. Cena wins. Great match.

Winner: John Cena

Backstage: Randy Orton, Triple H, Batista & Alberto Del Rio

We return from commercial and see Orton backstage talking to someone. He tells the person that he appreciates all he’s done for him. We see it’s Triple H. HHH says it’s good to see Orton making an effort lately. Orton says he’s going to prove this Sunday at the Elimination Chamber that he’s got what it takes. Orton talks about going back to the Evolution days with HHH. He says he can’t imagine Batista as the face of the WWE. He continues to talk trash about Batista only to find out that Batista has been standing behind him the entire time. Batista tells Orton that he’s not the face of WWE, he’s the ass of WWE. Orton walks away. Alberto Del Rio walks up with a neck brace on and talks trash about Batista. Batista shoves Del Rio and walks off.

Renee Young Interviews Titus O’Neil

Renee Young introduces some highlights of Titus O’Neil and Darren Young from SmackDown. After the video package, O’Neil is with Young. He talks about Young being a road block to him becoming a champion. He talks about the rise of Titus O’Neil and walks off.

Los Matadores & Sin Cara vs. The Wyatt Family

After the backstage interview with O’Neil, we hear Los Matadores’ theme music. They come to the ring with El Torito. We head to a commercial during their ring entrance.

When we return from commercial, The Wyatt Family are finishing up their entrance. One of the members of Los Matadores starts things off and is quickly dominated by Harper and Rowan, who exchange some quick tags back-and-forth. Bray finally tags in, beats up the Matadores member briefly before tagging Rowan back in.

A big cluter-f takes place ending with El Torito diving on the Wyatt clan on the floor. Long story short, Bray hits Sin Cara with his Sister Abigail finisher. 1-2-3. The Wyatt Family wins.
