Paul Heyman Opens RAW, Brock Lesnar Attacks Mark Henry

RAW opens with CM Punk’s theme music immediately hitting. Nobody comes out for several seconds and then Paul Heyman waddles his way out to a round of boo’s. Heyman hits the ring and when the music stops an insanely loud “CM Punk, CM Punk” chant breaks out. Heyman says he deserves louder than that. They chant even louder.

Heyman sits down in the middle of the ring Indian style, ala Punk. Heyman says he came here tonight to tell the story of a Paul Heyman guy. A Paul Heyman guy who was never truly wanted in WWE. A Paul Heyman guy that “they” thought was too small to main event WrestleMania. The CM Punk chants start up again as Heyman continues to tell his story about Punk. Heyman says this is his pipe bomb about CM Punk, “who is not here this evening.” They loudly boo and chant CM Punk again. Heyman says he doesn’t disagree with the fans. Heyman says so what really happened, why isn’t CM Punk here and why won’t anyone talk about him anymore? He says there is someone to blame as to why Punk wouldn’t put up with things anymore. Heyman says tonight he will point the blame as to why Punk isn’t here anymore. He says he blames each and every single one of the fans for it. Heyman brags about Punk setting a record as champion when he was with him and then the fans took him away. He says the fans not only took CM Punk away from him, but he took him away from yourselves.

Heyman says he not only blames the fans, but he also blames The Undertaker. He says this entire downward spiral began when “we” couldn’t end the streak and beat The Undertaker. Heyman says he wants revenge. Heyman says he wants to see the streak taken away from The Undertaker and there’s only one man who can do it. That’s Brock Lesnar. This brings out Lesnar.

Lesnar comes to the ring and when his music stops, the very loud CM Punk chants break out once again. Heyman introduces a video recap of what happened with Lesnar and Undertaker last week on RAW. Lesnar has a little wrap around his hand where Undertaker stabbed him, by the way. When we return live from the video recap, an insanely loud CM Punk chant breaks out again. Lesnar takes the mic and the crowd boo’s.

Brock says unlike some people, he doesn’t make claims that he can’t back up. He says he thinks Undertaker attacked him last week because he’s scared of him. He says everyone has failed in attempting to conquer the streak. He lists some guys who tried and failed. He calls them all failures. He says at WrestleMania 30, the streak is going to get conquered by him. He throws the mic down.

Out of nowhere, Mark Henry’s music hits and out he comes. Lesnar attacks Henry. He slams him into the steps outside the ring. Lesnar goes over and clears off the announce table. Lesnar hoists Henry up and hits him with an F-5 through the table. The crowd barely reacts to that, and immediately start back up with loud CM Punk chants. Lesnar’s music hits and he and Heyman leave.

WWE Tag-Team Championships
The New Age Outlaws (c) vs. The Usos

WWE Tag-Team Championship action is up next. On that note, we head to our first commercial break of the evening. When we return from commercial, a graphic airs explaining that this year’s WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony will air live on the WWE Network.

We shoot back live to the arena and Justin Roberts announces that this match is for the WWE Tag-Team Championships. “Oh, you didn’t know?!” Road Dogg and Billy Gunn, The New Age Outlaws, make their way to the ring in WrestleMania jerseys. Road Dogg gets in the ring and says he doesn’t think Chicago is worthy of hearing his catchphrases. The Usos theme music hits and out they come.

The bell rings and Jey Uso and The Road Dogg start things off. The CM Punk chants immediately start up as Uso goes to work on Road Dogg. Road Dogg reverses Uso and slams him upside down in the corner. Road Dogg tags in Gunn and Gunn picks up where he left off, hammering away at Jey in the center of the ring. Gunn blasts Uso a few times and then tags Road Dogg back in. Another loud CM Punk chant breaks out as Uso reverses Road Dogg in the corner and fires away with punches. Road Dogg catches Uso coming off the ropes with a big clothesline to slow his momentum down. Road Dogg throws Uso over the top as another loud CM Punk chant breaks out. We head to a mid-match commercial.

When we return from commercial, Road Dogg has Uso in a headlock and Uso is trying to fight his way out. Road Dogg immediately tags in Gunn and Gunn goes to work on Uso. Uso hits a big spin kick out of nowhere on Road Dogg and now both guys are down. The entire arena is clapping and encouraging Jey to make the tag. He does. Jimmy Uso takes the hot tag and is flooring Road Dogg and Gunn. Uso hits a big Samoan Drop on Gunn. Road Dogg tries interfering but Uso gets him down as well. Uso hits the ropes but Gunn catches him coming off with a big tilt-a-whirl slam.

Gunn goes for the FameAsser but Uso avoids it. He superkicks Road Dogg off the apron and makes the tag as he dives out onto him. The other Uso comes in and blasts Gunn. He follows up with a big top-rope splash. 1-2-3. The Usos win. We have new WWE Tag-Team Champions.

Winners and NEW WWE Tag-Team Champions: The Usos

Backstage: WWE Divas Drool Over Aaron Paul

After a preview for the Need For Speed movie, we shoot backstage and a bunch of the WWE Divas are talking about Aaron Paul. They make a lame sex joke and then we go to commercial.

Big E. vs. Cesaro

When we return from commercial, WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E. is finishing up his entrance. The bell rings and we see Cesaro is his opponent. Immediately Cesaro does an impressive power spot, slamming Big E. down as the crowd pops. Big E. quickly turns the tide and spears him in the corner of the ring. Cesaro reverses the momentum and throws Big E. out to the floor. When he comes back in the ring, Cesaro immediately grabs Big E. by the legs and does his Cesaro Swing to the big man. He swings him about ten times or so. Out of nowhere, Jack Swagger comes in and hits a Swagger Bomb on Big E. The referee calls for the bell. Cesaro is disqualified.

Winner via Disqualification: Big E.

After The Match:

After the match, Cesaro looks pissed and is talking to Zeb Colter while Swagger paces out on the floor. Cesaro turns around right into a Big Ending from Big E. Colter looks confused as he stares at Cesaro down in the ring and Swagger shouting from the floor.

brock lesnar just nailed the camera guy with the TV monitor

Paul heyman is really good at promos.. I still call bs that punk and wwe aren’t gonna make it happen tonight… This batista/orton things is garbage..

      • SJ

That’s not true. The Batista vs. Randy Orton thing is able to be excellent and good but they need to have Randy be allowed to return back to having a clean shaven look and fight back and win.

hahahhaha all this talk of da crowd goin “nuts” and “rebelling” for punk and yet they ALREADY forgot bout him. ahahahhahahaha mayb he isnt as popular as all of u think, his hometown doesnt even give a shit anymore

        • https://soundcloud.com/will-teel Will $teel

notice the time. It was at the beginning of raw when there were virtually no CM Punk chants. Of course the chants increased when they wanted DB saved from the authority at the end. Im glad he didnt come back even tho I was wrong n told every1 he would. 1 less cryass in the wwe

          • Theodore Krhtikos

            sir,you’re a class A dumbfuck

You must’ve been watching on mute, chump.

        • https://soundcloud.com/will-teel Will $teel

seemed like there were just as many cm punk chants at previous raws as this one. For all the hype of #hijackraw this was an EPIC failure. They mainly started chanting CM Punk at the end 2 save their HERO DB.

          • Theodore Krhtikos

I’ve counted more than 30 fucking loud punk chants.Get your shit together, asshole.

            • yoyo

You didn’t get the memo: Punk screwed Punk.

            • Theodore Krhtikos

How can you get ”screwed” when your company you work for is full of shit?
              He set himself free.

naaaah. You do have a bleeding anus though!

        • D

Too bad Punk didn’t give two shits about the crowd though, huh?

    • TeamRollins

      Seth Rollins is AMAZING!

      • ImOnTeamRollinsToo

        Rollins FOREVER

    • F’awesome

The Shield vs Wyatt’s should have been the main event.

      • https://soundcloud.com/will-teel Will $teel

they better not break up the shield. I kno there r rumors of shield triple threat at mania but i think that shouldnt b until WM 31. Like when Reigns is WWE World Champ then have THAT be the reason shield breaks up bcuz of Ambroses jealousy. That would actually make sense. This break up right now is too forced

        • Derp

What is it with the WWE and breaking up good factions too early? They’re gonna fuck up the Shield and the Wyatts before they even get to really establish themselves. Remember when DX ran around for years and years? WWE droppin the ball again.

          • https://soundcloud.com/will-teel Will $teel

ah yes the good ol days of the attitude era. Its bcuz they r always thinking of the next “breakout solo star” and think for some reason it cant be done with a faction. I love Reigns but he becomes a whole hell of a lot less interesting without the shield

    • Peeter Pants

Best raw of 2014 maybe even 2013. Why can’t ppvs be this good

      • https://soundcloud.com/will-teel Will $teel

i thought elimination chamber was a damn good ppv

    • Eric

So then, all that CM Punk is gonna be at Raw was all bullshit. Once again thanks a lot internet.

    • Jericho

      yea I agree stupid internet

    • Liane

So it means there is no Shield anymore? I’m sad :(

    • The Truth

WWE obviously leaked that CM Punk ‘rumour’ on purpose just to make people think he would be back in order to create more heat on last night’s show. If he does come back it will likely be at a big show like Wrestlemania. I don’t count on him being gone for good though, or nobody on the show would bother discussing it.

    • AyHello

That was an epic raw with a very disappointing ending. I say boycott wm30 til they give us a reason to order/watch it. And screw wwe network..using nostalgia to keep itself alive whilst the current product continues to sink

    • Hector Naranjo

Great RAW, especially Shield vs Wyatts, Man i really hope they make changes and have them go at it at WM30. It has the potential to steal the show. Big ups to Seth Rollins fkn dude really showed his talents.

      • SJ

        Awwwww……. F******K!!!!
I didn’t watch because I didn’t think Randy was going to be allowed to be on…he was on the show but wasn’t himself. I can tell because of the fact that he’s not currently allowed to do anything which sucks!!! Now they have Orton appearing like he isn’t resilient which is total fucking bullshit! I hope that Bray Wyatt knows what the fuck he’s doing and I hope Cena knows what he’s doing and that Orton knows what he’s doing and Triple H knows what he’s doing and that things are allowed to go back to being like they were when WWE actually had a frosted, good, exciting, cool, absorbing, fascinating, interesting, terriffic side like it used to!!!
I saw the extremely cool pics of Randy in the new issue of WWE Magazine on the newsstand…him unleashing an RKO was AMAZING!!! The photo of Randy Orton and Triple H from the WrestleMania 25 Pay-Per-View was just INCREDIBLE!!!!
Randy Orton said that the match he did vs. Triple H…the crowd wasn’t as loud during it and that The Undertaker’s match was better than the one he and Triple H did.
WTF ‘ ing HELL???!! NO WAY!!!!
Randy Orton’s match vs. Triple H at WrestleMania 25 was way better than The Undertaker’s match at that same pay-per-view!!! I know because of the fact that Randy Orton and Triple H put on excellent matches when they’re allowed to face against each other!!!

      • SJ

Randy Orton’s been sucking with the new look he has been forced to go along with and him having to have facial hair and a beaded look and him having to put over other guys!!!
        ** thumbs down**
        That SUCKS
He was a helluva LOT better when he was clean shaven and was fighting back against opponnents!!!

    • feed me smores

I just wanna see the Orton punt one last time while he’s heel
