- WWE released the following Paul Bearer tribute video:

– The price for WrestleMania 29 in the UK has reportedly increased to £17.95 this year.

– It would appear that the wrestler known as El Generico will be going forward without his popular character in WWE as he competed sans mask at last night’s NXT event. In his debut match last month for the organization, he sported the mask and attire. The mask-less Generico competed under his real name, Rami Sebai last night.

– WWE has signed Sarah Backman, an arm wrestling champion from Sweden, to a developmental deal. She also has some Gladiator experience.

And so, one of the great Indy wrestlers of our time, will literally be Generic now. Who’da thought?

None one did it better than Paul Bearer. A true icon in the wrestling world and he will be missed.

Right, so who had money on WWE screwing up El Generico?

      Everyone? Oh…

Seriously. WWE just don’t know how to make stars anymore. It says a lot when their biggest new wrestlers since Cena are CM Punk and Byan Danielson (the latter of which created the ‘yes’ phenomenon – not the creative team). In comparison, look at the ‘big’ stars that have been manufactured by Vince – guys like Miz and Ryback.

The sooner HHH takes over, the better.
