‘The Man’ Becky Lynch has made her latest intentions clear. The WWE RAW Women’s Champion wants a match against WWE’s Chief Brand Officer, Stephanie McMahon.
Becky Lynch was recently featured in a handful of “This is SportCenter” commercials. These began airing on ESPN earlier this week. McMahon sent out a tweet on the promo videos, saying “‘The Man’ takes over ESPN! Watch Becky Lynch star in TWO of the newest #ThisIsSportsCenter commercials.”
Lynch then responded to McMahon, asking “anymore thoughts on you fighting me in front of lots of people?”
McMahon replied, telling Lynch she had contacted “the wrong boss.” Stephanie said “I think you have the wrong Boss, Becky Lynch, good luck against Sasha Banks at #ClashOfChampions next Sunday!”
Lynch and McMahon do have history in WWE. McMahon seemed determined to keep ‘The Man’ out of the ring earlier this year before WrestleMania. Stephanie opted to suspend Lynch before her WrestleMania Main Event match against Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair as she would not see a doctor. Lynch was working an injured knee gimmick at the time.
We may still get to see a Lynch vs McMahon match in future, only time will tell.
