– There has been talk of having WWE NXT Superstar Candice LeRae work some upcoming SmackDown live events, according to PWInsider. There’s no word yet on if they plan on calling LeRae up but this could be a case of letting her get a feel for the main roster before the official call-up, something they’ve done in the past with other NXT Superstars, including Nikki Cross.

LeRae participated in the women’s Royal Rumble Match back in January, entering the match at #17 and later being eliminated by Ruby Riott, the 14th elimination of the match. LeRae, who signed for the black & yellow brand in January 2018, is active in the NXT women’s division and often appears in angles with her husband, NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano.
