Backstage: Vickie Guerrero Fakes An Injury

Backstage, Vickie Guerrero yells for the doctor to help her. When the doctor walks in, Guerrero is sitting up against the wall on the floor. She’s faking an injury trying to get out of her match against AJ Lee, which was just announced as happening next. We head to commercial.

Backstage: Stephanie McMahon Stops Vickie

Backstage, Vickie Guerrero is on a stretcher and being carried away. Stephanie McMahon walks up. She says to take Guerrero straight to the hospital. The doctors say she has normal blood pressure and a normal pulse. Stephanie says to take her to the hospital right after her match. Guerrero pops up and bitches and moans.

Vickie Guerrero vs. AJ Lee

The doctors are pushing Vickie to the ring on the stretcher. Vickie is complaining and groaning all the way to the ring. She screams big time to the point that it’s more annoying than usual. Oh god, someone shut her up please. Please! AJ’s music hits and out she comes. That only shuts her up temporarily, as we can still hear Vickie screaming over top AJ’s music. My god please stop. I’m begging you. PLEASE! They roll Vickie in the ring. Vickie faints and lays on her back. AJ, who is with Tamina Snuka, looks at her with disgust. The ref checks on Vickie. Vickie says she needs water. “Water. Can we have some water. She needs water,” says the referee. Vickie drinks some and wets herself down as AJ looks on smiling. The bell rings and Vickie crawls across the ring and out to the floor. Vickie is stopped by Tamina. Vickie faints again. Vickie crawls up Tamina’s body. She uses Tamina’s hand as a fan and then runs up the ramp. AJ stops her. AJ throws Vickie in the ring. Wonder if all the fainting Vickie is doing is a shot at AJ for fainting on Saturday in England, or just a big coincidence? Hmm…Anyways, Vickie is begging off AJ on her knees in the ring. AJ nods as if she understands. Then she slaps Vickie in the Black Widow. Vickie taps within a second. AJ skips around. Vickie looks bummed in the ring. That’s about it. And thank god, by the way.

Winner: AJ Lee

Backstage: Damien Sandow, Dolph Ziggler & Triple H

Backstage, Damien Sandow and Dolph Ziggler are in Triple H’s office. HHH says he knows they have differences, and tonight at RAW Country, they’ll get to settle them. He says the two will compete in a “Broadway Brawl.” He says what does that mean? He says he doesn’t even know, but they’ll make it entertaining. He tells them to go out there and make music together.

Broadway Brawl:
Dolph Ziggler vs. Damien Sandow

We return live in the arena and the ring is filled with musical instruments. Guitars, bass-fiddles, drums, etc. Dolph Ziggler’s music hits and out he comes. The announcers joke with Jerry Lawler during Ziggler’s introduction about Andy Kaufman still being alive. Damien Sandow’s music hits and out comes “the uncrowned champion of WWE.” No promo from Sandow, as these two immediately start brawling. Sandow throws Ziggler out to the floor. Sandow has an electric guitar, but he sets it down and goes out to the floor after Ziggler. Sandow grabs the guitar and goes to hit Ziggler with it. Ziggler moves and Sandow smashes the guitar into the ringside steps. Ziggler leaps off the steps and nails Sandow. Ziggler throws Sandow into the ring. Sandow catches Ziggler coming back in the ring and is putting the boots to the “Show Off.” Sandow grabs another guitar but Ziggler blasts him with punches to make him drop it. Ziggler knocks Sandow out of the ring with a picture-perfect dropkick. Ziggler goes to the top rope but Sandow stops him. Sandow throws Ziggler off and Ziggler goes crashing through a keyboard on a stand. We head to a mid-match commercial. When we return from commercial, Ziggler blasts Sandow with an instrument and hits him with the Fame-Asser. He attempts to pin him but only gets two. Both guys and up beating each other up with every remaining instrument in the ring. Sandow has the last instrument that’s in one piece, another electric guitar. He goes to nail Ziggler with it but Ziggler moves and Sandow smashes into the ringside post. Ziggler grabs a piece of the drum-set, a snare-drum I believe, and smashes it over Sandow’s head. He does the same with the large bass part of the drum, which is stuck around Sandow’s body. Ziggler grabs a Honky Tonk Man style guitar, blasts it over Sandow’s head, and pins him. 1-2-3. Ziggler wins. By the way, when Ziggler used the last guitar, he mocked Jeff Jarrett’s strut before whacking Sandow with it. Just thought I’d point that out.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

Backstage: Randy Orton Complains To The Authority

Backstage, Randy Orton storms into Triple H and Stephanie’s office. He complains that The Shield wasn’t out there to help him earlier with The Big Show. Orton demands to know if he has The Authority’s confidence as the face of WWE. Stephanie says they were just talking about that. She says they need to think about it. Orton looks shocked.

Backstage: John Cena With Florida Georgia Line

John Cena is with Florida Georgia Line. He officially welcomes them to Monday Night War. He apologizes for 3MB’s behavior earlier. They say it’s ok. Cena says the WWE Universe is excited for them to rock the house. Cena heads to the ring. “John Cena next,” says Jerry Lawler. We head to commercial.

In-Ring Segment: John Cena & Alberto Del Rio

We return live and John Cena’s music hits. He comes out with a white t-shirt that reads, “Even Stronger” and he’s wearing an arm brace due to the attack by Alberto Del Rio on RAW last week. Cena looks at the camera and says “here we go” before walking, not running, to the ring. The music dies-down and Cena looks around smiling, waiting to see if he’ll be cheered or boo’d. He gets somewhat of a mxied-reaction, more positive than negative. That”s how it sounds on TV at least. Cena talks about wearing an arm-brace due to last week. He introduces a video package showing Del Rio attacking him last Monday night. Back live, Cena says he returned on SmackDown only to have “this happen.” Another video package airs showing Del Rio attacking him during the Arm Wrestling contest on SmackDown this past Friday night. Cena says because of those two reasons he hasn’t been in the best of moods, which is why he thanks the WWE Universe for their excitement tonight. JBL points out that some are cheering and some are boo’ing. Cena says it’s energy like this that made him come back as soon as he could when he tore his triceps. Cena says now that he’s wearing a sling, maybe he came back to soon. He says maybe he pushed too hard and tried to be some sort of super-hero. He asks himself if maybe he shouldn’t be the World Heavyweight Champion, and then he looks around at the audience and their excitement and he thinks, you’re damn right I should be the World Heavyweight Champion. He says the champion should be made of toughness, not cheap-shots like Alberto Del Rio. He says in six days, Del Rio doesn’t know who he’s gonna be stepping in the ring with. He says he has the honor of performing in front of his family in Boston at Survivor Series. He says pain is temporary but pride is forever, so in six days when Survivor Series is done, he’ll hold this title and say loud, proud and clear, “The champ is here!” With that said, Del Rio’s music hits. Del Rio comes out with a microphone clapping at Cena. Del Rio says what an amazing speech by Cena. He says we have a real super-hero in the house. Del Rio says Cena is so good, he almost made him cry. Cena says that’s great because this Sunday, he’s going to make him tap. Del Rio says he claims he’s going to hold up the title this Sunday. Cena nods. Del Rio asks him to hold that title up right now. He says to use the arm that’s in the sling. Cena says all he needs to worry about is that he’ll be ready come Sunday. Del Rio says he’ll be ready to be humiliated in front of his friends and his family. Del Rio says a real champion takes advantage of every opportunity. With that said, he walks in the ring. He says in this moment he sees a great opportunity in front of him. Cena asks him to hold on. He says wait a second. He says a real champion does take advantage of every opportunity. Cena blasts Del Rio with a punch. He hoists Del Rio up for the Attitude Adjustment but Del Rio escapes and runs out of the ring and up the ramp.
